I have an idea.

I've said that I can't trust my own prayers to work.

What if someone ELSE prayed for me and my family instead?

If multiple people's energies came together as one, would that make a difference?

It could work...couldn't it?

Ask the saints in heaven to intercede for you.

Have you confessed all known sin to God and undertaken with Him to forsake your sinful habit patterns? If not, then your prayers won't get past the ceiling. The Scripture says, "If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me."

The faith the size of a mustered seed can move real mountains, then a week of real faith from you knowing for a fact God will handle your problems then they will be handled.

When no one was praying for the boy that was shaking on the ground Jesus said this is a wicked generation.

Jesus said to pray every day with faith, he gave you your instructions, now pray all day, every day for a week, and I will pray with you also.

The power of prayer is magnified when The Body of Christ comes together in prayer ( believers in Jesus Christ come together in prayer), no question about that. We have seen amazing answers in our world wide missions organization. However it is by the will of God that deliverance comes but He is faithful to the Word.

You have just labored to invent something that already exists, the Communion of the Saints. But you still need your own prayers, as the prayers of others can only assist your own prayers.

Mathew 18:19 "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."

It only takes two with faith to agree. You claim that you do not have faith, but I don't think you would be asking for prayer if this were really the case.
You do need more than what's required and so if you can find someone with faith, like a pastor, a prayer warrior, and if possible, one that has the gift of knowledge, then your prayers will be answered.

I would not ever say "I can't trust my own prayers". You want to build yourself up. I've heard that it's good when learning to pray, and when praying alone to pray within one's faith. Meaning, start out praying for little things, and slowly increase the "difficulty" (if you will) of your prayers as your faith increases. This is where I'm at. God Bless!

I asked Lord Yeshua (Jesus) today to pray to the Father for me on my behalf when I was struggling with something so big that I couldn’t even find the words to describe it and didn’t even know what to ask for; the Bible does tell us that He is both the Great High Priest and our Intercessor... Immediately upon praying to Jesus, complete peace and faith came over me. I mean, if there is a ‘Faith Cup’ I’m telling you, it was FULL. The instant relief was amazing.

While I absolutely believe that God hears the prayers of all (for we were all once in sin), I can now personally say that when my heart was just too filled with distress for me to think straight so that I could pray a prayer that was coherent enough for my own mind to process, which I think feels important to us all, praying for Jesus to pray for us is 100 percent Strength and Holiness and therefore completely foolproof.

I’m not going to stop praying my own prayers because I know that I am one of God’s valued adopted children and I know that He wants to hear from me on a continuous basis with my own words. But I think we all reach that place of deep need eventually and I really wanted to share this incredible thing that our Lord and Savior did for me.

So grateful! :) I hope this blessed someone.

Why not? Someone else's prayer may be worth a thousand times more if his/her heart is purer. Those people who have taken the time to purify their hearts, as Jesus had long ago recommended, will have their prayers answered just like how young children's prayers are usually answered on account of their hearts' purity. We lack that quality. The purer our hearts, the better we'll fare in the hereafter.

The principal Scripture on prayer is Philippians 4:6-7:
"Be not anxious for anything, but by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God, and the peace that passes all understanding will keep your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus."

Prayer is just that. Letting God know what your needs are. Because God is sovereign and not a vending machine to give us everything we want, when we want, He has not promised anything that is not His will. His ways are not our ways. The immediate result of making your request known to God is the peace and assurance that He has heard your prayer and He will act according to His sovereign will.

We can't demand things of God. He is not controlled by us. Prayer is not some kind of force to twist God's arm up His back to give us what we want, now! Daniel prayed and had to wait for three weeks, and then the angel came to him and said that he was delayed because of a battle in heaven, and his visit to Daniel was just to tell him that God had heard his prayer! The angel did not say exactly when God was going to answer it. Actually it wasn't until much later when Cyrus allowed Ezra to go back and start rebuilding Jerusalem.

Most times, we pray and leave our request on God's desk for Him to consider our request and do according to His will and purpose and in his own time. The Scripture says that through faith and patience we inherit the promises. That means that we might have to wait on God for Him to work things out.

Charles Spurgeon told the story of a faithful man of God who had three sons who were not converted and had no interest in the things of God at all. After 45 years in the faith, at the point of death he lost his faith and suffered much uncertainty and fear as he died. As the sons were carrying his coffin out of the church after the funeral, one said to the others, "Our father was a faithful believer for 45 years, and he had a very difficult death. But we have never had any interest in God, so what kind of a death will we have?" As a result all three received Christ as Saviour. The father had prayed for his sons all their lives and never saw them come to Christ in his lifetime, but God answered His prayer at the best time and in the most effective way, even though it was not in the father's lifetime. There is a good lesson for us in this when we have prayed and are waiting on God for His answer.

We don't need to get anyone else either on earth of heaven to pray for us to the Father. The Scripture says, "Let us come boldly to God's throne of grace to find mercy and grace to help in our time of need."
