I'm sort of surprised this was brought up. I thought the Republican Party had repudiated the very idea of there being any sort of "morals" in American politics. Otherwise they couldn't justify to themselves their voting for a serial adulterer and a liar.

(Shrugs) I don't either either party has cornered the market on that. There have been plenty of serial adulterer's and liars in office. It's part of history. Why be surprised? lol both sides claim the high ground, and then go roll in the mudd. It's normal. lol!

I'm still waiting for the Mueller Report, not the Barr Report.

All we've been told is what is in a speculative 4-page summary. Warrants were issued for Feds to go into 500 offices to look for paperwork related to Russian interference in the election. Could a 4-page summary cover just these events?

When my Member of Congress has read it and tells what he read in the actual Mueller Report, then I'll claim to know about it.

I can believe they didn't find any evidence about Donald or his campaign coordinating with Russia concerning online propaganda against Hillary and the hacking of the DNC. That could easily have all been done by Russia without Donald ever being involved.

I'd like to know if their was any collusion as relates to the Trump tower project in Russia and removing sanctions. Did they look into that? That's what it seems both Russia and Trump were working on so as to get Trump elected. Why else would Sater say to Cohen in 2015 "our boy can become President of the USA and we can engineer it"....?

Congratulations to President Trump, the phrase "Innocent till proven Guilty" still stands as true in this great country of ours. The Witch hunts will go on, the Democrats are wanting payback for Obama, this is what it is about, not truth or justice. 4 more Years of MAGA.

Predicting that it'll be 2023 with Trump's second term winding down and they'll still be harping about Russian collusion.
Trump's own sons have stated that "Russians like to invest in golf courses" and "we get financing from Russian banks and we have not used American banks for years."

None of which is a crime.

Special counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence that anyone connected with President Trump or his 2016 campaign conspired with Russia to subvert the 2016 election, according to a summary of his findings released Sunday by Attorney General William Barr.

Yet Mr. Mueller did find actions by Mr. Trumpafter he was in office that suggested he may have been attempting to obstruct the probe into the election. Mr. Mueller did not recommend prosecution but left the decision up to Mr. Barr, who said he doesn’t see enough evidence of a crime to pursue charges.

“Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the special counsel’s investigation is not sufficient to establish that the president committed an obstruction of justice offense,” Mr. Barr wrote in a letter summarizing his findings. It was sent to Congress Sunday afternoon and quickly became public.

I think many people don't realize what Trump is doing with all his inflamatory verbiage. He is trolling. Every time someone responds publicly to his statements, they reveal more of themselves. This strategy is good for us electors who find it hard to know what kind of people are moving and shaking this country. He has drawn or driven a lot of snakes out of the swamp, which is what he promised. Now we know names and ideologies of so many people who hold or seek power. At election time, it will be easier to vote out the skunks we don't want. They can't hide anymore!

I understand that Trump is trolling, but I dont think it is appropriate for a President to do this. The reason is not so much about politics, it is more about family. I think we have some kind of expectation that the President will 'pull people together' and work towards a cohesive country. Trump's tweets are doing the opposite.

In addition, Trump might believe that he has to bypass Govt procedures because Washington DC is a Swamp. And partly he is right. But when he bypasses the protocols by using Trump Inc. , he is also bypassing the checks and balances in our Constitution. Thats not a laughing matter. If we undermine the System enough, there will be no democracy.

It's not illegal to do business in Russia. End of story.

This is a perfect example of what is wrong with the Church!

He's a pathological liar and allegedly has paid for as many as eighteen abortions for mistresses. He has an out-of-wedlock child. He likes to have sex with inappropriate content stars. He likes to watch women urinate on matresses. But, if he can't be charged with a crime, so what!?

What? Making an accurate statement?

He's a pathological liar...

According to those who hate him.

...and allegedly has paid for as many as eighteen abortions for mistresses.

Allegedly? Ok.

He has an out-of-wedlock child.

Let he who is without sin...

He likes to have sex with inappropriate content stars.

An accusation which was never proven.

He likes to watch women urinate on matresses.

An accusation which has been proven false.

But, if he can't be charged with a crime, so what!?

That was the context of the comment. The term 'crime' has a definitive meaning, meaning no crime was committed.

This has nothing to do with the church. What silly statement.

Your bias is showing there, and it seems you have also brought into some gossip. Gossip and slander are pointed out as some not so nice terms to partake in also. Bias isn't looked upon to nicely either. You might wish to watch that plank of yours.

Anyone can be charged with a crime. Wishing harm on someone purposely due to your dislike of them and thinking they are wicked? Not so sure the bible covers that as being okay behavior either.

And the elephant in the room is that Barr announced that the Mueller report did not clear Trump of obstruction, directly contradicting Trump's claim that it did.

The Justice Department on Sunday released the main findings from Mueller’s nearly two-year Russia investigation, saying there was no evidence Trump’s campaign conspired with the Kremlin. But Mueller’s conclusion on obstruction was not nearly so clear-cut.

“While this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,” Mueller said in his final report, according to a summary of the findings released by Barr. Mueller’s actual report remains confidential.

Mueller offers no answer on whether Trump obstructed justice
