Desolation's abomination, the horde that carried death with it, that carried out God's sentence upon the Jewish people, was Rome's army.

This would indicate that the Holy Place had fallen into the wrong hands, and that sacrifices to God would cease. Such a state would be so terrible that they must force themselves to understand what that means.

This sign, desolation's abomination, indicates the final period beyond which they shouldn't delay. The Christians shouldn't try to stay in the city any longer. Abrupt flight's advised.

Those still in Judea should flee into the mountains. Anyone that happens to be on the housetop should use the stairway leading down into the street. They that happen to be farming shouldn't try to get their good clothes.

Mathew 24 is a prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem. It occurred in 70 AD. If it were a prophecy of the end of the world it would do little good for anyone to flee from anywhere to anywhere.

So it is your claim the daily sacrifice was abolished in 66ad.
Do you have any proof the daily sacrifice was abolished that year?

According to the prophecy the gentiles would occupy jerusalem 42 months. How long was the Roman military in Jerusalem and when was the daily sacrifice abolished?

Jesus tells how God's wrath would be manifested. Some of them would fall by the sword. Others would be led into captivity, for a reproach to nations until time's end. Over 1,000,000 Jews were slaughtered during Jerusalem's siege and after its fall, and about 100,000 were dragged into Egypt and Italy as prisoners. It was God's judgment without parallel in world history. Jerusalem, the glory of Israel's glory, was occupied by Gentiles at that time, and has been stepped on by strangers to this day. This will remain so until time's end. God's Word must stand.

Jerusalem's ruin by the Gentiles is a type of the attempted ruin of God's Church by the Pope. The Pope has rendered desolate Christ's Church by abrogating worship, establishing idolatry, filling the Church with offenses and shedding Christian blood.

There is no such thing as a rapture.

Except the one Paul wrote about...the only person in the bible to use the actual word Rapture (in Greek).

That happens AFTER the Tribulation when Jesus comes as glory as Judge.

Mathew 24 is a prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem.

That chapter is not about the Roman's taking back Jerusalem and they controlled Jerusalem much longer than 42 months anyways. Matthew 24 speaks of Christians being targeted bu the one we commonly call the AC. His discourse ends with his own second coming and he states one generation would see all of the things he spoke of, from the starting events to the ending event known as the second coming. Since the second coming didn't happen in AD70, nor a Christian persecution, Ad70 is not compatible with the OD.

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

False Christ's are warned about.

Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

These are Christians being delivered up not Jews. Hated because of Christ's name! This proves that Christ is talking about Christians when he says "you".

Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The gospel of the kingdom is about Christ and is delivered by Christians.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

"Ye" are Christians.

So, the AoD is going to affect "all the world" and Christians are the targets! Christians are persecuted and murdered for the testimony of Christ and because they carry his name.

Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

"Ye" is still the same people, Christians.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The elect are Christians not Jews per the context of this passage.

Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Again, a warning about false Christs given to "you" which are Christians.

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Another reference to false Christ's and the Christian elect.

Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

You=Christians and yet again another false Christ reference. There is a false Christ coming to deceive Christians and those not deceived will be delivered up, persecuted and killed.

Nothing about Jews at all because Jews are not the target of the Antichrist and tribulation.

Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

And here is the second coming. Again, nothing about Jews at all because Jews are not the target of the Antichrist and tribulation.

Yes that's the one I am referring to. The other person claims there is no rapture at all and clearly that is not the case.

Chapter and verse please.

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Context is the second coming!

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Context is the second coming!

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

This is the second coming!

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

This is the rapture! The Greek word for rapture is harpazo and that's the term used by Paul

G726
ἁρπάζω
harpazō
Thayer Definition:
1) to seize, carry off by force
2) to seize on, claim for one’s self eagerly
3) to snatch out or away
Part of Speech: verb
A Related Word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: from a derivative of G138
Citing in TDNT: 1:472, 80

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up HARPAZO/RAPTURE together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

When this verse was translated into Latin from Greek, the Greek word "harpazo" was replaced by the the Latin verb rapio meaning "to catch up" or "take away" (the Latin noun "raptus" "a carrying off"). The Latin Vulgate translates the Greek as rapiemur. In Middle French "rapiemur" is "rapture" meaning ("to carry away") which is the same meaning as Rapture in English. So while the English word RAPTURE is not in scripture the Greek word HARPAZO is in scripture and it is the origin of the word rapture. So, yes, a rapture is very biblical. A pre-trib rapture is not biblical because Paul places the rapture after the tribulation and second coming and after the resurrection of the dead.

Peter and Paul were both executed for their faith. Those are but two examples of the persecution of Christians during that time.

Could you not comprehend the question?

It sounds like you want to teach something but you dont listen.Lets try again.
According to the prophecy in Daniel. The millitary of the gentiles occupy Jerusalem for 42 months.
At the beginning of thr occupation the daily sacrifice is abolished and 42 months later the abomination that causes desolation is set up.

So if you are claiming the abominationof desolation was placed in 70 ad then the romans only occupied jerusalem starting in 66ad.That would have been, the year the daily sacrifice was abolished. Can you prove the daily sacrifce was abolished in 66 ad?

Can you answer the question?
