I wonder how this affects Christians in the Golan Heights. Are they now left under the heel of the Jews the way Palestinian Christians are? Yay! Israel has the bride of Christ under subjection. American "Christians" should guard the clothes of the Jews while they stone them.
Sounds like hollow rhetoric .... usually happens to folks watching too much Fake Media or listening to the likes of Adam Schiff

(1) The impression I got was that a number of countries tried to gang up on Israel during the Six Day War.

(2) They had leaders talking about destroying Israel. Is this real or fake news??

(3) If this was true, I am not surprised that Israel would take land of theirs. How could a nation be wrong to take land from a country which is clearly trying to destroy that nation??

(4) And I would not trust the present Syrian government, if what I have heard about them is true.

(5) According to what I have been told, a number of countries were deliberately trying to destroy Israel, yet the now are cry-babying that Israel is not being nice to them.

(1)-(5) > real news or fake news???? . . . or not relevant because of other facts??

What? That I understand that the Christians there are being brutalized by the Jews who are supported by the Christians here?

But for just 20 dollars a month you can help feed a Jewish holocaust survivor in Russia. Who cares about all the starving Christian survivors of the holomodor.

I think when threatened like that a country should be able to do whatever they want to protect themselves. Seems some of those countries have threatened the United States in the same way.

Those are real news. The Golan Height is high altitude and strategically critical to Israel's defence. It took a miracle, God's intervention to win it back. This is the land God gave Israel, the existence of so called "Palestine" (Philistines) territories within its previous expanse is testimony to Israel's unfaithfulness. Abrahamic and Mosaic promises are all theirs to bless their land, but for the most part they have failed to see it. Yet... the time of hardening of Israel will end in due course. They will one day all recognise the Glory of Israel. It has been prophesied in the scriptures. Here is one:

10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn. 11 On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version, (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles, 2016), Zec 12:10–11.

Thank you, Bob. I'll be glad to read however someone might have another idea and reasons about this.

But my information includes that the leader of Egypt betrayed other attacking countries, by claiming that film of Israeli attack planes was footage of Egyptian planes attacking Israel . . . after Israel had already knocked Egyptian planes out of commission. And because of how other countries trusted the Egyptian betrayer, they suffered a lot when they joined in what was supposed to be a pretty hard bullying of Israel.

One documentary, if I remember correctly, says the Egyptian military stranded their army in the desert without water, and they had to make some sort of an international demand that Israel not destroy their soldiers . . . when in fact they had intended to destroy Israel.

So, I would not trust negotiating with ones who betray their own people. In the Bible, the LORD tells Israel they are foolish to lean on Egypt > it will be like leaning on a reed which pierces their hand. Of course, how would the United States be rated by the LORD? They have in history gotten into various troubles because of depending on human military of other countries, instead of relying first and only on the LORD.

Thank you, Sino Ben :) My personal understanding of geography is that the Promised Land is larger than the present land occupied by Israel.

And they need to hold on to every inch of what they have left and we should support that effort.

How about we care about both?
Thank you for reminding me!!!

"if you love those who love you, what reward have you?" (in Matthew 5:46)

"For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe." (1 Timothy 4:10)

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men," (1 Timothy 2:1)

So . . . "first of all" . . . Jesus desires how we pray "for all men" > and do this praying "first of all", our Apostle Paul says. Praying "for" someone first is not first making a point of criticizing the person. So, pray with hope of love "for" the Jews, and pray with hope of love "for" the ones who are against the Jews because of their own nastiness.

Oh no, you can't insult precious Israel. That's really frowned upon among the Evangelical right wing Christians who seem to believe that if you're a "real Christian" then you would support the nation of Israel no matter what and you would support America continuing to bow down to kiss Israel's feet.
