It's 66F and fair in Central Oklahoma today. It looks like Spring, but I know there is more cold weather to come.

What a difference three weeks makes! Three weeks ago today; we had record snow for Feb and power was out; had locally 1-3 feet of snow; and because of the power out; had to stay in a motel in Eugene for a couple of miserable days.:(

Now; the snow is all gone; and we have record high temps for March of 75-77F around the area; today. I was on the verge of turning on the AC; as I haven't had time enough to mentally get ready for such a change; let alone acclimatize to it bodily!:D

I am trying to enjoy the warmth; it is better then literally freezing like we were with no heat in the house. Even the oil furnace needs electricity to run--we should have a wood stove for emergencies--but power never was out for a week before--we live on a major road and the power company is usually pretty quick; but this time there was so many trees down from the thick; wet and heavy snow.

Whew! The weather is definitely strange.:)

It's a beautiful Spring day today here in Central Oklahoma. I'm praying for those in the path of heavy rains and flooding.

Hi there rebornfree!
The wind was quite blustery, but seemed to go quite quickly. It's a bit quieter here today. Typical English weather - we either get the "wrong kind of snow" or "strong sunlight" - it's never right it is? Roll on summertime!
I'm glad that the storm moved quickly for you Anthony. :)

I had the strong sunlight waking me up this morning! :D Nice later in the day though.

As a nurse who works nightshifts, I was working as the dawn broke and missed most of the day as I was asleep!

That's a difficult job, my husband worked shifts as a policeman, he didn't like night's and always tried to finish and be home by 4am and then he could get to sleep.
It has been a beautiful day today, had a lovely walk in the sunshine this morning. Great for praying...

It was quite a sunny one, but I know what you mean about missing days. I've recently done a degree, in my retirement, and sometimes worked through the night and slept during the day. (BTW that's a great job you do - I've a lot of respect for those of you who work in the medical profession.)

Nights have certainly got some getting used to, especially as I previously worked days! I usually finish about 7 in the morning and get home before the rush hour is in full swing!
Glad you enjoyed your walk out today - the weather has been superb. We're heading into spring now and can look forward to warmer and longer daylight hours!

The problem with the missing day is that usually it involves planning to do something and inevitably ending up sleeping!
Hope you enjoyed doing your degree - which subject did you study?

It's 64F and mainly cloudy today here in Central Oklahoma. It's a beautiful day.
We seem to be having similar weather at the moment...cloudy day but quite pleasant and a temperature of around 14c all the plants are showing new leaves and buds,
I hear it is going to be much colder this weekend, anything can happen :)

For Eugene and the surrounding area it's been warm, sunny and no rain, snow, sleet or any other of those things that like to come out of the sky; just to entertain us! Hallelujah! Now if we could get just a little more wind to blow away the smoke from the slash burning people are doing; to get rid of all the knocked down tree debris; from the snow storm 3 weeks ago; it would be a perfect spring day. But; hey ya can't have everything. :D

..ha, ha, wind? If I could only direct some of the wind we have had today in your direction...it has been a lovely day today with a feel of Spring...and a cold wind!
I pray to the Lord for some wind to blow away all that smoke...God bless
