The world`s largest democratic population in India is around 80% Hindu.
Even so, Colossians 3:15 commands we are ruled by the theocracy of however our Heavenly Father rules us in His own peace in our hearts. And in case anyone does less >Christianity [or any religion] should not be part of a government - otherwise you have a theocracy and not a democracy.
To me, Romans 13 indicates how God is able to use any secular authority person for His good. But the good may be mainly or only outward. And then it is up to us to benefit spiritually thanks to God ruling in usChristianity is neither for or against democratic government.
To split hairs, that's the Thearchy. A theocracy is the rule of clergy. (That hasn't always worked out so well.)So, truly Christian government is by theocracy of how our Father rules us in His own peace in our hearts.

Agreed. So why do you think so many denominations are based on democracy rather than some other structure?Democracy could be compared to the intention of the tower of Babel. "We don't need God, we don't need His laws. We can pass our own laws and govern ourselves better than God can govern us."
