I now believe every word in the Bible is from God but I think the Xmas stories are fictional. See:

I think if you're selfish you either die or go to the lake of fire then die. If you are born again you go to paradise forever (eternal life). If you are lukewarm you are "spit out" then perhaps you end up doing what your religion teaches such as reincarnation.

its a long story and it would take to long to type on my phone but it was deliberate. The problem was I thought I'd do whatever I felt like

I had 6 ECT treatments and now I forgot a lot of my old thoughts. BTW when I was unwell I got a copy of the NIV that was sealed but printed upside down! Earlier I was trying to annoy God by reading chapter 6 of some books upside down.
I also thought the meaning of life (42) is related to the game connect 4 - it has 42 elements... I thought I'd look at red vs yellow and the hospital's set has different numbers! https://sky-walker.net/temp/connect4.jpg

That reminds me - there was a patient who had an upsidedown cross on her top - I said that seemed Satanic but she said she sometimes attends a Mormon church and she does hand stands. Also apparently there is a strong connection between Mormons and Freemasonry.

Where does the Bible say the earth is flat? Jesus certainly knew it isn't. When discussing his return he said, "I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left." People are in bed at night and they grind during the day. Jesus knew it would be night in one part of the earth and day in another part when he returned. Therefore he know that the earth is round.

Flat earthers today normally believe that it is day on some parts and night on some parts simultaneous.

It is white imitation leather with gold text on the outside. It is only A$12.99 (equivalent to US$9)

I think I will bring it to church with me and I'll get another copy for my wife to bring (it probably won't be printed upside down again)

I started reading John 1 upside down but then thought I'd just read it normal (with the cover upside down though)

Anyway I looked at the verses I talked about here:

In John 7:53 - 8:11 it has a bold line above and below it and is in small italics and none of the text is in red. i.e. it is implying none of those words were spoken by Jesus. The same is the case for the end of Mark - a bold line, small italics and no red text.

Then I looked up 1 John 5:7-8 - it says the three in the trinity "are in agreement". It says in the note that "these three are one" is from the late manuscripts of the Vulgate.

I also looked up Genesis 11 - it has some notes about differences in some parts of the genealogies.

It has some good reference sections in the end. It even has a very explicit definition of circumcision though at a church service I went to recently the pastor didn't explain what it meant (even though there would be children who probably didn't know what it meant)
