Did you set aside the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH for GOD and did you keep it Holy? You have the answers to your questions. How about you now answer mine?

Hope this helps.

Please show me the scripture where Jesus defined what action we must take to keep the Sabbath Holy.

If you believe we are supposed to go to Church on Saturday then please show the scripture where Jesus said to do this.

Do you believe it’s a sin to go to Church on Sunday.

Your only making smoke screens. It is the correct translation from the original Aramaic manuscripts.

HEBREWS 4:9 [9], So then, it remains for the people of God to keep the Sabbath.

Now notice Hebrews 4, verse 9: “There remains therefore a SABBATH rest to the people of God.” In verses 1, 3, 4 and 8, the Greek word for “rest” is katapausin. It means “rest.” But in verse 9, the Greek word for “rest” is sabbatismos, which is a Hebrew word—Sabbat, which means “the Sabbath”—combined with a Greek suffix—ismos, which means “a keeping of” or “a doing of.” which is the VERB of SABBATH which is the descriptive noun. Put together, sabbatismo means “a keeping of the Sabbath.” which is the verb for doing. When correctly translated, Hebrews 4:9 should read, “There remains therefore a keeping of the Sabbath to the people of God.”
...snip
From -ism - Wiktionary

Ultimately from either Ancient Greek -ισμός (-ismós), a suffix that forms abstract nouns of action, state, condition, doctrine; from stem of verbs in -ίζειν (-ízein) (whence English -ize), or from the related suffix Ancient Greek -ισμα (-isma), which more specifically expressed a finished act or thing done.

The webpage contains samples such as Heroism, Patriotism, Lutheranism, and Calvinism. Every one of those four represent a state/condition.

Sabbatism represents a state of rest when taken in context of Hebrews 4. Your words or your bible version corrupts Hebrews 4:9.

This "God's Word Disagrees With Your Use Of The Word 'Love' As Well As Your Acts Of Adding To And Subtracting From Scripture Post" (in this thread) and "Follow-up about God's Word Disagrees With You Post" still stands. As the posts show, righteousness and unrighteousness are diametrically opposed, and the post shows that truth is opposed by deceit/lies. God is Light (1 John 1:5). Light pierces the darkness (John 1:5, John 8:12), and so it goes with love and hate being in oppostion. A person who loves God's Word cherishes the purity of God's Word in righteousness, and I do; on the other hand, a person who does not love God's Word attempts to alter the meaning of God's Word for an unrighteous end. It is not love to try to change the meaning of scripture, in fact, it can be said that attempting to change the meaning of scripture is the very opposite of love; moreover, this is proven out in the above mentioned post.

MATTHEW 5:17
...snip
The words spoken by Jesus, being the Word of God, are true in Matthew 5:17-20! Here they are:

17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
19 "Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others [to do] the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches [them], he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses [that] of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus fulfilled the Law including the 10 commandments. Jesus said that "not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished." This is the same Jesus that while on the cross said:

"It is finished!" (John 19:30)

Therefore, Jesus accomplished all including satisfying (a synonym for fulfill in Matthew 5:17) the Law including the 10 commandments.

And, about Matthew 5:20, Lord Jesus is the righteous One, and we beleivers inherit His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21), so we believers are more righteous than the scribes and Pharisees because of the Lord Jesus! It is not what we beleivers do, rather it is the Lord Jesus.

God's Word in the "Exclusively Scripture With Bible Citations Post" (in this thread) clearly shows God's Word explaining believers covered by the Blood of Jesus of the New Covenant are not bound to the Old Covenant which includes the 10 commandments for the Lord Jesus said that He satisfies the Law which includes the 10 commandments. The Lord Jesus satisfies the Law which includes the 10 commandments (Matthew 5:17); furthermore, the Lord Jesus established "the New Covenant" (Luke 22:20) and that when He said, "A new [covenant]," He has made the first obsolete (Hebrews 8:13).

LISTEN TO GOD'S WORD:

"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to satisfy." (Matthew 5:17)

"For the Law, since it has [only] a shadow of the good things to come [and] not the very form of things" (Hebrews 10:1)

"And in the same way [He took] the cup after they had eaten, saying, 'This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.'" (Luke 22:20)

"When He said, 'A new [covenant],' He has made the first obsolete." (Hebrews 8:13)

The law is to be taught for what it is, and that is only to judge us, and glorify or magnify Him... And is for the unbelievers, for the most part (and the pharisees), or those who have not met, or been introduced to, or (truly) been born into Christ yet...

See this post from me in this thread please: You must PROVE you LOVE the LORD to be saved!

It has no place in any true, truly born-again believers life though, after being truly born again... Because that does not truly start until after you have been judged by law... Then your shown a "higher law" and encouraged to try and aspire to it... But the letter of the law is not longer after that or when that begins, because of the, or it's Spirit now...

God Bless!
