That would then imply that US training is inferior to that of .... Syria and Russia?ISIS lost their biggest advantage when the U.S. stopped giving the "rebels" weapons and training.

Trump was wise to end that policy.
U.S. policy in Syria helping the "rebels" was in reality helping ISIS. The U.S. was so much invested in trying to take out Assad that it didn't want him to have any victories, not even in his fight against ISIS. But Trump ended that bad policy as soon as he took charge as Commander-in-Chief. And that change starved ISIS and opened them up for Assad and Russia to finish them. That would then imply that US training is inferior to that of .... Syria and Russia?
Assad didn't gas his own people.Saddam Hussein was a bad dude who murdered his own people and we wrecked his country and destabilized the whole area for that (nothing to do with oil contracts). Assad is a bad dude who murders his own people - do we give him a pass because some of them joined ISIS? Serious question.
Assad didn't gas his own people.
ISIS faked that story in order to get the U.S. to help them out when they were losing the fight.
He did at one point, but he only took one action in response.Donald fell for it tho, didn't he?
He did at one point, but he only took one action in response.
He's murdered them just the same, whether by gas or guns.Assad didn't gas his own people.
This was even before then.ISIS faked that story in order to get the U.S. to help them out when they were losing the fight.
They were playing the U.S. like a fiddle.
No, that was the lead story in RT.I'm a little puzzled by the thread title: "another US aided victory for Trump" --
Does that mean the US aided Donald in his victory?
Palpable nonsense.Assad didn't gas his own people.
ISIS faked that story in order to get the U.S. to help them out when they were losing the fight.
They were playing the U.S. like a fiddle.
By your reasoning, did Abraham Lincoln "Murder his own people" when he resisted the Confederacy in the American Civil War?He's murdered them just the same, whether by gas or guns.
Fair point.Assad didn't gas his own people.
I don't recall that Abraham Lincoln gunned down peaceful protesters and tortured their families, but perhaps my history books were remiss.By your reasoning, did Abraham Lincoln "Murder his own people" when he resisted the Confederacy in the American Civil War?
I'm not familiar with this one. What about Georges Clemenceau for waging a defensive war on his country's own soil in World War One?
That was propaganda generated by ISIS.Fair point.
He only dropped barrel bombs on 'em..ONLY 70,000 of 'em too!
Oh yeah. And chemical weapons.
Both on his own people.
BUT guys, he did not GAS them.
That was propaganda generated by ISIS.
The media was stupid to fall for it.
