Vladimir Putin has POTUS as his agent. Not a very good agent it must be said. One comment I heard yesterday was "You have to wonder what Putin has on Nancy Pelosi"?
Speaker Pelosi appears to be more than a match for her "narcissistic" opponent in the White House - there is nothing that would infuriate "The Donald's" insatiable ego more than her public statement that "he's not worth it!"
While the average President would be relieved that the Speaker was not intent on his "impeachment," Donald J. would deeply resent being deprived of his opportunity to be placed on this pedestal, making him the centre of national and world attention!
She seems to be really good at pushing his buttons. She got him to take responsibility for shutting down the government, after she angered him when she pointedly told him "you don't have the votes" for his wall.
Then she beat him on the shutdown. And nothing infuriates him more than being outsmarted by a woman.
Probably so. And while there's some indication that he's experiencing some cognitive problems, Mattis seems to have made sure he can't do anything stupid with the military, without review by a responsible person.
Oh wow people STILL believe in the "Russian collusion" today! Amazing.
And this is even after Vlad came out and said there was no collusion!! Some folks just don't trust anybody when they are bound and determined to believe something, even though Vlad obviously has more integrity than Mueller.
That’s correct we the people have the power of impeachment every 4 years with regards to POTUS.impeachment is really just pointing the finger it alone doesn't actually do much except perhaps get a lot of people stirred up and wastes a lot of time. For perspective, it took a full year for Clinton to be acquitted by the Senate after impeachment.
Trump's inabilities, however few or many, I can't see going very far if impeached. Trump simply hasn't done enough to warrant a conviction and the rest of the world will just be laughing. Pelosi is right but I don't see it as a personal attack, rather that it's just bad business. In a year Trump will be up for a vote again and perhaps it will solve itself, if not I still doubt impeachment will be on the table. Johnson was impeached for basically political reasons but that was 150 years ago and those games don't work the same way.
Pelosi is outright wrong here. Impeachment has been appropriate for a long time.
We have a saying in Army targeting..”.is the juice worth the squeeze?”I doesn't appear to be what she means. She understands just how difficult impeachment is and her concern is for the 2020 election cycle. Unless enough GOP senators are on board for the process, it won't be successful.
So explain to me how Trump has exhibited thin skin?
Just not worth it" means they don't have anything to impeach him on. If they had ANYTHING, they would impeach
Heck you have to have thick skin just to post in the political forums on a regular basis. Having to put up with being called, stupid, a liar, a homophobe, not being a real Christian (and numerous other things) just because you have an opinion even slightly right of center.
Trump is not strong willed, he's narcissistic and vain. That should not be confused with a strong will. And that's precisely what makes him vulnerable to manipulation
YOU made the claim that Trump was benefiting from Putin financially and that was how Trump was being manipulated. Now you seem to be redacting that after knowing that you were wrong.
Those links prove NOTHING.
It's funny because to me Trump has shown himself to have anything but a thin skin. If anything he has thicker skin than anyone else on the planet considering the amounts of abuse he gets daily and he does not let it get him down.
You have to remember he has had to do business in NY all his life so he knows the drill and what to expect.
Could be, but I am very sure that most of us change a lot over the course of almost 40 years!
It is probably not a case of losing anything, but of honing one's speaking skills in order to be more effective. Look at Hillary, for example. She talks with a different accent depending on whether she is in the North or the South or the audience is mainly African-American. Most politicians don't go that far, and probably would feel like phonies if they tried it, but the idea of speaking in the most effective way, depending upon who the listeners happen to be, isn't foreign to the average politician.
