And that's how it should be... Israel is and will forever be (exclusively) the Jewish people's land. Even when they were exiled, it was still their land; land waiting for its rightful owners to return home.

Makes me glad when they stand for what is right.

All of the promises are yes in Christ. So they have no biblical claim to the land.

You are supporting a racial and/or religious test for full rights in a country? That is disturbing.

You have no understanding of God's promises and covenants he's made and yet are Christian? That's disturbing. Wait, no it's not, it's common especially amongst Christians on here.

All of the promises are yes in Christ. So they have no biblical claim to the land.
It clearly states in Genesis the land belongs to the people Israel forever. The Prophets talk about the land being redeemed over and over and the covenant God gave Israel being fully fulfilled at the Second Coming.

Regardless of what is said, you won't change your mind, so no point in continuing. Rest assured though you are wrong.

So any group that has a holy book that says they have a right to land can take it?

He isn't wrong. That's the entire point of the state of Israel, to be a Jewish state, the only Jewish state in the world and to suggest that non Jews are Israelis would result destroy Israel as we know it.

My only question is does he mean Jewish ethnically or religiously or perhaps both? What makes one Jewish enough to belong to Israel in it's entirety? If a Jew born in Israel is ethnically Jewish and converts away from Judaism to Christianity, does he cease to be part of Israel proper?

I said I wasn't going to reply, but I suppose I meant more or less to scoffers/people unlearned in scripture. I liked your answer/question so I'll respond.

A Jew is one born of a Jewish mother. This mother could have became Christian, but none the less she is still Jewish. When/if she has children, her children are Jewish as well. If she has daughters, if they have children their children will be Jewish, etc. That is how descent is passed.

Infact If they become Christian they become everlasting heirs of the land, because while in this life all Israelites have claim to the land as their own, in the afterlife only those who trust Jesus as Messiah and his sacrifice made for them will recieve eternal life and thus dwell in their land for all eternity.
I will also add that all Christians have a claim on the land of Israel in the sense that Gentile Christians are the commonwealth of Israel scripture says. But this is not ownership like the Israelites have.

I find it highly amusing you presume to know anything about me. Typical of course, as I'm sure you claim to know many things you infact don't know. Likely a blatant denial of the existance of God, being the most important and key one.
I took 'he' in @Ignatius the Kiwi's response to be Netanyahu, but perhaps I was wrong.

I don't claim to know that gods don't exist. I just don't believe that they do.

That's fair, I now realize it could have been seen as directed towards myself or the Israeli PM. My apologies.

I'm sure that was the sentiment among many WASP Christians during the early years of America when they started either mercilessly killing off or forcibly removing Native Americans from their tribal lands.
