Eutychus, sitting at the window, sank into a deep sleep as Paul talked
(Acts 20:9)
(Acts 20:9)
For those of us who know what it is to experience large blocks of time without sleep when we know good and well we are hours past needing it, what have you done who once experienced near chronic insomnia to finally tip the scales in your favor?
Two things I have noticed over the years that have played heavily into slumber’s hands; One, resisting the late meal and two as the above sleep sufferer indicates, try sampling sleeping elsewhere for a possible change.
After a day at work when I come home, if I wanted to there is a recliner I have in the center of the house for reading or TV that can put me out every time, deeper and deeper into full sleep status. Such that it exceeds the effect of the customary bedtime hour.
Of course this thought is not meant to diminish our state of mind,
, , to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
