I wish I could say that I'm one of those people who rejects Darwinian Evolution because of Scripture, but like the author, reason got there first. I bless those who take Scripture seriously enough not to subjugate it to popular materialistic suppositions.

Hello Beloved,
I have two threads over in CF Theistic Evolution Forum. I think you would enjoy them.

Are you familiar with, Miracle of the Sun - Wikipedia in Fatima 1917? 60,000 people in Fatima, Portugal, experienced one reality of where the sun was, while everyone else on earth experienced another reality of where the sun was. Jesus turning water into wine, and all miracles, are built into Creation's DNA. Atheist scientists hate this fact and came up with their 'Realism' philosophy, to counter the scientific fact that subatomic particles, are not particles, but only a wave of possibilities, until conscious man (Adam), looks at them. It is only when man looks at Creation, that particles become particles to form all physical things in the universe. Atheist science knows this, atheist science hates this, and atheist science has buried this proven fact, with their 'Realism' philosophy.

It is all miracles from God at the Quantum level (subatomic particles). Subatomic particles are not particles, but, instead, a miracle from God, wave of all possibilities, until man looks at them, which then they become particles making up everything in the universe. God can even have subatomic particles producing dual realities at the same time, as was the case in Miracle of the Sun - Wikipedia

God says that Adam was already Created, before animals and woman were created. God saw that man needed a help mate. God created animals. God thought man needed an even better help mate; so God created woman. Is there anyone here who thinks that God is not Powerful enough to bring animals, woman and man into existence thousands of years ago, on the week Adam was made?

Creation thousands of years ago, on the week Adam was made; God altering an original five days of past, to a new past with animals in it, really becomes a great deal easier to understand, once one understands quantum mechanics. Our reality, of all that exists, is more like a Television, with God holding the remote. Subatomic particles really did not evolve to know when man is looking at them and thus change their course. Every subatomic particle in the universe, is controlled by God, every nanosecond of the day. God can show us anything He wants to show you. God can change our reality of the universe, to a new reality of the universe, in a blink of an eye. God's capability to do this is written right into the DNA of the universe, at the quantum level.

Albert Einstein hated God having all this control over our reality of the universe.

Creationism = Quantum Mechanics = Neils Bohr VS. Albert Einstein = Realism = Atheism

*Only Catholic replies and commentary please after reading the article.*

It is my reason, not my faith, that is challenged by this sort of evolution.

I still don't believe in macro-evolution (evolving from one species to another).
It seemed that some Catholics started believing in macro-evolution after JPII showed support to it. They might think a pope is infallible on everything, including biology (which is not true).

Steve, please do not start plastering threads with your cut and pastes again. It's about what's posted in the op. Thanks.

I tend to agree. While I do not discard it completely, there are a lot of problems that make it hard to accept without reservation.

I agree completely. As the author said, it would not effect my faith either way. But there are a lot of loose ends to be tied up to fully commit to Darwinian Evolution. However God chose to create is not going to cause most of us to throw out the importance of Scripture and the faith we hold.

I disagree with Catholics who say that Scripture tells us that God created the world and not how. The creation narrative doesn't end at Genesis 1:1. For example, we have the 'days' we need to take seriously. I say take seriously, because it seems like so many want to interpret them in such a way that they fit into a Darwinian Evolutionary timetable, rather than interpret them in the light of Revelation. Things such as that affect my Faith.

It does not affect my faith at all. I realize people are in different places in their journey and understanding. When Paul said that we see through a mirror darkly I know we are not going to understand everything while we are here on earth. I fear those that tend to think we can complete and understand these things in the here and now and push others to try to do the same. I do believe God brings us to a wisdom and peace concerning these things so it does not effect our faith either way. It may shake us, make us wonder, but it does not destroy faith. I feel there are those that think they can solve God's motives and actions down to the end game. Those are the people I fear for concerning keeping the faith. It's okay to say I do not know and still believe regardless of science or evolutionary theory. The bottomline for me is that God created it all. I know that I come off as a simpleton in certain areas on the net. Mostly out of laziness. But how many before us have kept the Faith without knowing the blueprint on how God created? Why do they call it faith? Do we need to know? Or do we need to believe?

I understand. I just don't want to see Divine Revelation subjugated to the theories of man.

Oh I agree. That seems to be the trend. But Divine Revelation is exactly that. We can appreciate science while in the world but as far as I am concerned that should not affect our faith adversely.
