Sorry, there is very little in life that I just accept without trying to understand what I am called on to accept. You can call it a character flaw if you like.
I’m just trying to figure out where these attacks came from. They are mentioned generically, but nothing specific.Oh. It that what you've been trying to get at with this thread?
Quote from source: Harris says "And look, this is the same thing they did to Barack (Obama). This is not new to us and so I think that we know what they are trying to do."
And the identity politics machine keeps on chugging. What RDKirk noted,
Harris is only doing this to gain supporters.
I whole heartedly agree. I cannot tell you how many times I have been accused of not being "Hispanic enough" or called a "traitor" because I support legal immigration and a border wall. It was kinda humorous that I was once called a disgrace because I made the mistake of throwing tortillas in the microwave rather than roasting them on the comal . I am just fed up with the identity politics, race baiting, and political pandering to minorities. Of course this is all about getting votes.Again I keep thinking of my friend who is shunned in the states by the black community for not being the "right kind of black". When that happens, it causes issues. In an ideal world, everyone would be treated with respect where it didn't matter on heritage and race, but here we are.
How so?You might be disturbed to find out that these "false flags" played an extremely important role in electing our last President.
How were we "played" by our country? We were played by the country that seems to hold significant leverage over the guy that ultimately got elected.
Show me one example of systemic racism and I will condemn it. Although there are racist people in the country, there is no example of systemic racism?Just so long as we don't lose sight of the fact that we are still a nation very much easily led by systemic racism to question each other's legitimacy.
There is no systemic racism in this country.I just don't want it to divert from the very real face of systemic racism in this country.
It is also frivolous. What difference does it make?I think it's a shame she has to be burdened with this at all. You shouldn't have to prove the legitimacy of your race to your race, it's isolating IMO.
Apparently the attacks are coming from the Democrat African American base.I’m just trying to figure out where these attacks came from. They are mentioned generically, but nothing specific.

Quote from source: Harris says "And look, this is the same thing they did to Barack (Obama). This is not new to us and so I think that we know what they are trying to do."
And by "they" she means the Liberal media and those in the African American community who didn't believe that Obama was "Black Enough" to represent them. Not to be confused by Trump supporters who are now being labeled as racist.
Is Obama Black Enough?
Personally, I really don't care. I am just trying to answer the OP.Democrats in general and African-Americans in particular are working out which candidate they want to run for president. The real question is whether Harris properly and completely represents the collective Democrat interest.
Here is my question for this topic: Why do you care? Why are you involved? Why have you invested an interest?
I really am not concerned about which democratic candidate you are planning on supporting. The OP question is in regards to who is attacking Harris' "Blackness", based on the information I provided, it seems to be a result of some internal conflicts within the black community regarding her track record as a DA and prosecutor. Not as a result of racism as some people have suggested in this thread. On one hand, "Black people voted for Obama just because he's black."
On the other hand "Black people didn't believe Obama was black enough to represent them."
This is so rich in its irony.
You don't have our interest at heart.
Y'all need to get out of our business.
But they voted for him regardless of his perceived lack of "blackness".On the other hand "Black people didn't believe Obama was black enough to represent them."
Seriously, show me one example where there is systemic racism.I believe you’ve disqualified yourself from serious debate with this...opinion?
Seriously, show me one example where there is systemic racism.
Yay! Post number 100! Other than the obvious lack of data that suggest it does exist? How about the fact that we had a black President. If there was "systemic racism" how did Barack Obama become President for not one, but two terms and why did he not do anything about it?I believe you are the one who claimed it does not exist. What data are you looking at to reach that conclusion?
