And yet, The Senate Intelligence Committee is still investigating. Mueller has gotten 5 guilty pleas, 19 incitements and is still investigating.

I just don't buy it. This has Nunes fingerprints all over it, even though he was suppose to recuse himself from this.

I will wait on the Senate Intelligence Committee to come to a conclusion before saying there is nothing there.
Update: Senate Intelligence Committee: No Russian Collusion

Collusion is not a crime. The question is, did people in Trumps orbit associate with the Russians and how far up the chain does it go. If you read the articles you linked you would see it still doesn't good for Trump. The report, as the very least, would call into question Trumps judgement on who he works with.

Associating with Russians is also not a crime.

I think it should be a crime to do an investigation to look for a crime. This was clearly a witch hunt.

But for us, out of the country influences in an election is a problem. With so many members of the election and staff members associating with Russians in legal and illegal ways, there is something there, even if it is just poor judgement, to be reported.

Criminals would love this policy.

Should we only be allowed to investigate criminals who have publicly proclaimed their guilt?
No, we should only investigate a crime if a crime actually happened. You are not supposed to investigate an innocent person to look for crimes.

This is the senate investigation, not muellers. We dontnknow what mueller has and his group has been tight lipped, which is very rare for washington.

With that said, would not surprise me if no direct evidence is discovered that supports a criminal conspiracy between russia and the trump campaign. Again, collusion is a really meaningless term, when it comes to crimes being committed.

If mueller has the goods on trump, it will be more related to covering up embarrassing actions and or financial related crimes.

Not really. You investigate crimes with probable cause. The investigation may turn out that no crime was committed.

Where are you going to find people on either side who do not have out of country experiences or business dealings? Remember this is a world wide economy now. If you do any business these days you do business out of country.

Clinton did business with the Russians. At some point we have to wake up to reality.

The chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee says they aren’t done investigating yet:
“On Tuesday, Burr repeated to reporters that “we don’t have any” evidence of collusion. Asked whether the committee’s investigation exonerated Trump, Burr said: “Just saying what factually we’ve found to date. We haven’t finished our investigation.””

Maybe there is something, maybe there isn’t. However, seems premature to be celebrating when both Mueller and the Senate are still investigating.
