All anyone needs to do is
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

I'm talking about the ones who didn't get a chance before dying.

This is the Orthodox forum, so I'm guessing that the OP is looking for the Orthodox view, not a protestant one (and since this is St. Justin's, they may want to debate it themselves).

well, that's between God and them

He's asking about a practicing Muslim who doesn't believe in Jesus for salvation... who dies without accepting Christ.

Curious if you all teach universal salvation here. The OP doesn't know - apparently.

Obviously we don't know who is saved or not; however; what would make either of them get a chance?
Anyone who is saved is saved by Jesus.

God also said, "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy."

There is a Hindu man in India who goes to street people, feeding them, washing them, dressing their wounds, and doing the other corporeal works of mercy in Matthew 25. As St. Paul says, he is following the law of God written on his heart.

If my neighbor in my mansion is a Hindu, Jew, or Muslim, I will praise God for His mercy.

Hazelponi, NOWHERE does the Bible say "accept Christ."

Read Romans

It says believe in Him and confess with your tongue His Lordship for salvation.

Elsewhere it says to believe, confess and be baptised for salvation.

When you do none of the above it would seem according to the Bible salvation would be outside ones reach.

At any rate I'll leave you all to it. I was curious what you teach since the OP didn't seem to understand salvation, as he was thinking an unbelieving, unsaved, unbaptised Muslim goes to heaven when they die.

At least I see where he's getting it from.

I know. and no we don't teach universalism.

Christ preached to those who died in the Flood (the worst generation ever). so while we do not say a practing Muslim is guaranteed salvation, we also don't deny that he might be saved, since only God can see the heart. it could very well be at death that many will be saved. it's not my job to pry into what is only known to God.
