I heard that in the private sector, some people are required to give away their urine.
I give mine away randomly. I even give some to my doctor. Last year I even gave him ..... well, TMI.

The President is the first in a generation to keep his tax returns secret.

What about birth certificates for officials who are minorities?
All minority candidates should obviously show their birth certificates. I can’t believe you even had to ask.

To get a better idea of what they really do with their money and see if they are as really rich, you know, as they claim.
Or if they got any large gifts or loans from foreign heads of state.

It makes me curious to know what the current President is trying to hide when he refuses to release his tax returns. I think he's trying to hide something that could possibly get him impeached.

It could be harmless, and he'd just be embarrassed when it is shown he isn't worth nearly as much as he'd claimed.

Or it could be more serious than impeachment. Asset forfeiture is a thing.

I'm just curious here. To see if Trump or any other President have cheated on their taxes? How could this finding discrepancies work? First one sends their taxes to the IRS. It's they that assess them. It's they who put their stamp of approval on them saying their OK and if they don't they do an audit. If they don't do a audit how can one make claims seeing now Trump's tax returns that he cheated. Didn't the government ALREADY DECLARE they're fine and acceptable? I agree their should be honestly in filing taxes.

But can't we see going after a President after tax issues AFTER the returns are already stamped OK well what is one doing. Going in to change the decisions already made by an IRS agent? And yes all should be honest in filing BUT if you're a man who does much business and your on the scale of a Trump....wouldn't tax lawyers be looking for every cent they can preserve.....claiming A, B or C may think it their right and if the IRS doesn't believe so they'd say NO. I just don't get how you can look at a tax return and just make a declaration it's a cheat if IRS agents have deemed them acceptable.

People don’t want to view the tax returns to see if Trump cheated on his taxes. Few think he did. I believe he is inside (though maybe leaning up against) the letter of the law. The reason people want them opened is to see if he has any conflicts of interests. See if he has the ability to profit mightily off of a action he can take as president. That’s what wants to be seen. The cheating on taxes has nothing to do with it.

LOL ! That's why I wouldn't want to do it if I were to run for President. I wouldn't want to have to admit that my financial affairs are so paltry.

What classes? Its a job application. We can set the conditions for a job application. I hear in the private sector, some people making job applications are required to give away the passwords to their social accounts.
That violating my off the job privacy. Also I don't like the idea of people being able to snoop into my taxes or personal business. Also we don't need Trumps taxes to see that he's shady. Pretty soon people will demand everyone's Social Security Number to be public for everyone to see.

Sure, although I'm not in high public office. But okay, I'll make that deal. Public access to all tax returns. No exceptions, no executive privilege. No nothing. Just transparency.

Tax returns, medical info. shopping habits, locations, etc. all made public. Where does it all end? Are we no longer allowed a life with a reasonable expectation of privacy? I hope you're smart enough to know where this could lead. It's not conspiracy, it's reality.

Shouldn’t we just let the IRS audit them every year? I’m sure if there’s something illegal, it will be found.

Rush Limbaugh is under annual audit. He's basically a target. This is why he has to pay millions every year in retainers for legal and other fees. Is this the type of road we want to go down for our elected officials? If this were an actual requirement, it would definitely eliminate average people from running or anyone that valued their privacy.

That is the 64,000,000 question.

What need rides to the level of removing the privacy protections in place. And once one is removed, why not remove all of them.
Would that include removing the privacy protections on your tax returns?

Rush isn’t holding federal office at a high level and is handsomely rewarded for his entertainment endeavors.
