I'm on board with that. And the IRS should audit them every year also.

Speaking as a liberal, I think that's a good idea. And, since almost all previous presidents and presidential candidates have released theirs, let's start with Donald Trump releasing his.
Or, even better, having his tax returns subpoenaed, and then used to jail him, which is what he almost certainly deserves.

These people are making killer money from their positions as "public servants.". Transparency should be required. Anything illegal - maximum sentence for anyone in Congress or the President. Anything shameful - hounded out of office. End.

You may be -sure- the IRS will find everything illegal in their audits but I suspect that without public exposure of the returns we would never know whether your assurance is sufficient.

Politicians are citizens...who are applying for a job which requires the utmost in trust and honor. If they don't like the conditions for application, they are free to work elsewhere.
