Who's fault is it if anyone doesn't save up for unforeseen emergencies?
Here comes the "You're blaming the victim!" card in 3....2......1......
Unforeseen emergencies like your president is a giant tool?

Yeah - they probably should have started saving on November 9, 2016.

Fortunately the courts are protecting the DACA recipients at the moment.

However, what Trump did is create a problem (reversing the DACA executive order) and now is offering to fix that problem in exchange for his wall. It isn’t compromise, it’s and insult.

It’s like I come to you house and steal your car. Then I offer to sell your car back to you an call it a compromise.

Your analogy is totally flawed. If you steal my car, you've stolen something that originally belonged to me and was rightfully mine. Did citizenship already belong to people who entered our country illegally?

If Trump wants to seriously deal, he should offer DACA recipients permanent legal status with a path to citizenship. That would be a fair deal.

Also, the “master deal maker” should probably talk to the opposition.

I'm glad that some people are paying attention to Trump's immoral behaviors and see his so called "deals" for what they really are.

Ya, they should have known that he was a tool when he claimed that Mexico would pay for that wall. :)

I can see that you don't understand, so I'll explain it to you as best I can. An emergency would be when you lose your job, or your income is interupted temporarily and suddenly you don't have an income. That's when having money saved up comes in handy while you're looking for another job. Living to the edge of your income doesn't allow you to do that, which is why it's wise to not do that.

Trump isn’t offering citizenship. He is offering not to deport them by giving them legal status. They had this under Obama, Trump took it away.

Doesn’t change reality that most people don’t plan that way. Of course, many of these people are now being forced to work without pay, meaning they can’t get temporary employment and they can’t get unemployment. You can pontificate all you want, but people are not getting paid and the economy will suffer as a result.

No, I think it’s Trump’s fault that he is creating a problem needlessly.

And, criticizing people for not saving doesn’t change the fact that they aren’t the only ones who will see the consequences. Shutdowns always end up with an economic slow down.

Have you written to or called Nancy Pelosi to tell her to put an end to this? She knows she could do it. She knows how. Saying a flat out "NO" like she did today isn't the way. Perhaps you should contact her.

Nope, and I won’t either. Trump owns this one. He said so himself:

So what specific evidence do you have that this particular individuals didn't simply overstay his visa (60+ percent likelihood statistically speaking) and a border wall would have made any difference at in this specific case (apparently it was simply an accident)?

Not really. "He is charged with criminally negligent homicide and driving without a license or insurance".

This sentence is within the aforementioned article.

Then it doesn't sound like you're willing to do anything at all to help but criticize Trump on the internet. No wonder the dems are so smug in the way they're handling this. No accountability from those who support them.

Why not? 3 years is a long time, and it's possible that a democrat will be in the White House in 2 years anyway, and then it will probably be made permanent. Isn't it worth getting the DACA deal now and get the government open again?

No it isn't.

It doesn't appear to have been an intentional act. How do you even know that a wall would have made any difference in this particular case and prevented that accident in the first place? Most illegal aliens simply overstay their visa, they don't cross the border illegally.

Trump's border wall would stop less than half of illegal immigration in the U.S.

I guess I could contact Pelosi to cheer her on.

I could contact Trump and tell him he is wrong, but he won’t listen to me. He listens first to Fox News and second to his base.

So, I think I will criticize Trump on the internet. It’s pretty fun, actually.

What have you done?
