Jesus Christ's White Hair Isn't A Fashion Statement

Recently there were reports in the medical journals that many of mankind's interactions with debauchery will change the person's biological DNA. Many DNA changes due to our sinful activity show up in our hair DNA. Our hair, as well as other human tissue, is a biological recording device for all of our earthly activity.

Now in the book of Revelation there is a description of Jesus Christ that describes his hair as 'white as snow'!( Revelation 1:14)

This description of Christ's hair as 'white as snow' is no fashion statement. It is an indication of the DNA that resides in Christ's hair as being 'pure' with no changes due to any sin! Jesus Christ is sinless, so much so, that even his DNA is pure and sinless, as 'white as snow'!

This fact, that Jesus Christ's DNA is sinless and is 'white as snow' (hint: an unblemished sacrifice for all of our sins), leaves the coming Antichrist with a tall order to fill. The Antichrist must show that his DNA is pure with no changes in it due to any sinful activity.

Whether the Antichrist can achieve this is something I don't want to know firsthand. Instead I hope to be safely in heaven with Jesus Christ who will come for all of his faithful just before mankind's final judgment (hint: the rapture).

While Jesus Christ's hair is described as 'white as snow ' his eyes are described like 'blazing fire'. This is a description Jesus Christ as the Pillar of Cloud and Pillar of Fire that led the Israelites through the desert!!!

Read, or listen (hint: search youtube for Book of Revelation), to the Book of Revelation to receive a promised blessing!

Everyone has sinned, thereby contaminating their DNA, and has come short of the glory of God except Jesus Christ who came into this world conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Jesus Christ is our unblemished sacrifice (hint: a pure DNA, white as snow, unaltered by sin) who died on the cross for the forgiveness of all of our sins.

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ who is God's only son - God become man- and rest assured that you'll spend eternity in heaven with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.

God Bless

It COULD also be that "hair was white as snow" is metaphoric. What is the head, what does it symbolize? Authority? And the covering pure like snow? It could be abstract and not literally anyway.

This. There is no reason to read the passage as literal, though it could be. Elsewhere in scripture and in most human societies white/gray hair is thought of as having wisdom, age, authority, etc. Reading passages as literal when they might not be can be dangerous, especially in prophetic scriptures.

There are many people who are born with white hair......Do you believe this mean that they are sinless? Also, does the white hair that, sometimes come with old age, mean that you are eliminating sin from our bodies?

Even when hair whitens with age, the DNA remains unchanged. The fact is, also, that darker hair in youth is the result of undamaged DNA, and white hair can only come about through aging or through damage to the DNA.

Many DNA changes due to our sinful activity show up in our hair DNA.

Many sinful activities can be detected in the hair, but not in the DNA of the hair. There's not a single test for DNA that can establish what kind of life you lived.

When I read that Lord Jesus had white hair, my thought was it was white because He is the Ancient of Days. Science says that our hair turns white in old age because of oxidation in our bodies. Yes some people are born with white hair, so, that must be due to genetics.I don't believe it is an indication of sinlessness. Neither do I believe as the OP that Lord Jesus' hair is white because of His sinless purity.

Are people with black hair vile sinners then?
I'm kinda worried, maybe I should make an appointment to have my hair dyed blond.

According to that line of reasoning, people with red or brown or blonde hair would likewise be vile sinners or whatever.
Everyone, regardless of hair color, is a vile sinner until they are saved by the grace of God.

Good point, not to mention that the "tests" for these activities are notoriously unreliable and can rather easily give false positives.

Well I think if you have joy and peace it most definitely will show up in your face but the color of your hair? I'd suggest that's somewhat silly to say that. So what about when Jesus walked the earth? White hair? I mean with Jesus being pure and sinless as we know he always was you couldn't just say that's what his hair looked like when back in Heaven. It'd have to be when he was in the earth too. So what about Jesus hair white as snow as seen in Rev 1:14

It was I think talking about Christ in his glory or where it becomes manifest. It's not that the material part of Jesus hair is white but he was lit up with the glory of God. You see this at the Mount of Transfiguration as well.....for moments Jesus appeared like this

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. Mark 9:2

Again it's not that the actual physical material of Jesus clothes became white.....it's just when the glory is manifested it fades from appearance all the other colors. When the manifested glory left Christ at the transfiguration his garments were what they were all the time...whatever color they were to begin with.

Actually I tend to think Adam & Eve in the beginning had coverings of the glory of God (light, energy power) as clothes. When they sinned they saw themselves naked and got leaves to cover themselves. One can see art work of Adam & Eve and artist portray they didn't have coverings. Yes they did....LIGHT and GLORY. IMO

Well this leaves one with the conclusion that anyone with black hair must be a great sinner. Sorry but I think that's ludicrous and I'd suggest that last thing we need is to say that something like this is the new mark of Cain. Don't think that's a road people want to go down upsetting people unnecessarily. If I understand ethnic similarity I think Jesus probably had hair brown or black but doesn't really matter of course.

What about those with bald heads? How will we be able to judge their sin levels?

Ha...hard to believe I'm seeing these type of lines. Surely though you people are kidding right? Let's add this one than....a guy walks into your church and is half bald. Would one say, "Look you're in pretty bad shape! You don't have much hair and the little bit you do have is dark!" Or if they're totally bald should we say, "Look Bud! Obviously you're trying to hide something and why? Because we can't see the color of your hair!" Arrest all the bald people TODAY! ^_^

we may have something here.......Look what happened to the children that teased Elisha concerning a bald head:

"there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord."

OOO WEE. It is written:
1 John 3:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

YES! I look forward for this hope.

It's literal in the sense that that's what John saw, 'white as snow', is a comparison of the color of his hair in the vision to snow, obviously.

Of course, I was more referring to the interpretation of the OP on why it was/is white. But yes, I agree that the literal reading of the color is correct. :)
