Is it possible for one to "fall away" from, or lose salvation once saved, and what does "falling away" mean...? What does it look like...?

Can we define who is one who is, or has, "fallen away"...?

Discussion...?

God Bless!
How do you think anyone can be saved? How is someone saved ?

What are they saved from? (it is not always with eternal life in Scripture).

How does Scripture say they can stay saved ?

What does JESUS SAY they have to do to STAY SAVED ?

I don't know, enlighten me please...?

The first two "Jesus" (and God and the Holy Spirit), ect... and the third, "Hell"... and the fourth...? what I glean or extract from the message of scripture is "keep walking in faith or keeping the covenant of faith, and the commandment to Love", and/or that might, or probably will require being "born again", ect also...? By dying or having to die, or go through a process of dying, (to (self, flesh) ect also...? Ect...

And the last one I don't know exactly, enlighten me please...?

Can Salvation be lost...?

God Bless!

Doesn't Jesus say "Whoever endures to the end will be saved ? "

If so, what happens to those who fall away ?

Demas fell away. Judas fell away. The prodigal son fell away. Ananias and Sapphira in a sense, fell away. One cannot fall away from something that he/she was never a part of. Only genuine believers can fall away from the faith.

If you take the mark of the beast do you still have eternal life?
A person will not take the mark who is a believer and if one is tempted to, more than likely God will either give them grace to resist or will take their life.

Of course one could lose their Salvation—- If Jesus is a liar.
Personally, I think Jesus spoke the Truth when He made this promise—“Those that Believe in the Son HATH Eternal Life and shall NEVER come into condemnation”.Do you Legalists understand what “ never” means?

I'm less interested in what happens to or with them, but much more with "who they are", ect...? How to identify such ones...? Where would you find them, ect...?

God Bless!

Only genuine believers can (never) fall away from the faith.

"Only those who never were true believers to begin with, (can) (I meant) but proposed to be (real true professing God following) (and supposedly God-fearing) anyway, proposed to be genuine believers maybe...? In that case, where would we find them...? and how would we identify them...?

And are they the wolves among sheep or in sheep's clothing...?

Will people know what the mark is before taking it...?

Or, if/or ones who do not, or did not, or will not, know, did they choose not to know in God's eyes at some point or maybe and are therefore are held accountable because of that maybe...?

And/or but true believers will all know, or not...?

God Bless!

If a believer will not take the mark then why is there a warning against doing so? The warning would be senseless if such a thing were not possible for a believer to do. Are you 100% certain that you would not do so under extreme duress/persecution? Do you have crystal ball? Don't forget that Peter also was 100% sure that he would never deny Jesus and yet we know that he denied Jesus not once but three times. Furthermore, explain to me why you wouldn't take the mark? After all, you believe you can't lose your salvation no matter what so go ahead and take it right?

The place I am at right now, if I knew about it before taking it, I think I'd just rather die, but... No, I cannot be 100% certain though...

No; even if someone proposed or claimed to be a believer but never was - how can he/she fall away from the faith if he/she were never a part of the faith? That does not make sense. Only genuinely saved believers can depart from the faith that they once belonged to. That is why the scriptures repeatedly call for believers to endure and persevere in the faith. By their fruit, you shall know them.

You are right. Since we are not omniscient, none of us can be 100% certain that we would never accept the mark. The most we can say is that we HOPE we would never do so - even under persecution and the threat of death. Better to die as a martyr as many of the precious saints have done in the past.

There are two perspectives. From God's side, Jesus died once for all sins and that can't really change nor will He put in the effort again.

From the human side, people accept that God's "work" is sufficient to cover their sins. They can "loose" this salvation if they stop persevering in faith.
What Does the Bible Say About Jesus Saves Us From Sin?

God never changes His "Work" on our behalf, but people can "fall away" from their faith and stop doing what they know if the right thing to do.
What Does the Bible Say About Falling Away?

So, do they end up in Heaven or Hell? It's my current stand that believers are forgiven for their relapse into "lack of faith", but I've not researched the topic enough to reach a conclusion, not even gone through the links above. I've never seen anyone with faith "fall away" from it very far. Often people will leave a church but believers usually remain believers. Some claim to have left the faith, but I never know if they are talking about an actual relationship with God, or just a bunch of stuff they were taught about attending church being their salvation. Which was not correct in the first place.

Good point(s) and questions...? At which point does it become what, or whatever...?
