First let's look at Romans 14:5. This text is addressing how people approach the day of worship. There is nothing in this text that indicates any change at all in which day God has established for Him to meet with us.
In the Bible, God tells mankind that He will meet with us on the seventh-day of the week. That is the ONLY day He has chosen. He invites us to keep that date with Him. How we respond, tells God and the world; which God we are serving. This is all about how we respond, it does not say a word about which day is holy. It only deals with which day we have chosen.
Now let's look at:
Colossians 2:16 "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day."
This text is about judging, not worshipping. People tend to believe we will be saved or lost by this list of issues that are listed here.
1. Our Diet
2. Which Religious festivals, such as a New Moon etc., we observe.
3. About "a Sabbath day," or which rest day we observe.
Notice it does not say: "The Sabbath day," but "a sabbath day." The word "Sabbath" means a day of rest. Today we might call it a "holiday," or a "holy day," or a Vacation.
None of these are issues for US to use to judge anyone on. They are just indicators as to which God we have chosen to rule our lives.
The Bible says that the day we choose tells the world which god we love. Just because we love that god, it does not determine whether we will be saved of lost. It only tells the world which path we are on.
Before I got married, I dated several ladies, all of them very nice ladies. However, just because I dated them, it did not mean I would marry them. True, there was a good chance that I might, but which one I might marry could not be judged by the ladies I dated. Likewise, whether we are saved or lost cannot be determined, by which day we worship on. That is not the chief determinate. It cannot be the ultimate point we are judged on. However, it is a strong indicator. And there is a very good chance that we will choose that god.

Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord's Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.
So? It was also Yom haBikkurim, Day of First fruits. So do you observe that?Jesus rose from the dead on the First Day of the week
Lets look at the text of the resurrection in our Bibles and see if it says anything about changing the Sabbath?Jesus rose from the dead on the First Day of the week
Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the weekNow lets look at the Biblical Sabbath, not ideas or traditions of man. Lets start with the basics.
Is the Sabbath day Saturday or Sunday according to the Bible?
We should observe the seventh day of the week (Saturday), from even to even, as the Sabbath of the Lord our God. Evening is at sunset when day ends and another day begins. No other day has ever been sanctified as the day of rest. The Sabbath Day begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday.
So why is Sunday kept? No one can answer that from the Bible. But from traditions of man, there are many ideas and speculations i.e. the Ten Commandments or moral law is done away with, or Christ rose on it, or disciples ate bread on it.
No one is able to show that the Scriptures anywhere state that the first day of the week is the Lord's day, but the Bible is filled with text that show the seventh day is the Lord's special day. Not the least is in the New Testament where anyone can see that Jesus said the Sabbath is the Lord's day.

While it is listed as a Covenantal sign between God and Israel, its inception was way before either the Mosaic or Abrahamic covenant. That means it transcends any covenant.Correct, the Sabbath still stands for the old Covenant adherents...
Which did nothing to change the Sabbath.Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week
Why The 8th day? The day Jesus walked out of the tomb.Jesus rose from the dead on the First Day of the week

So do we Sabbath keepers.I serve a risen Saviour
Look at the references in Paul's letter to the church at CorinthI had a person tell me, I know its in the Bible, its written down that Sunday is the 'Lords Day', and I am still waiting for him to find the verse. Many people think its actually in there, the ministers tell them that it the first day is the new covenant day, so they just blindly hold to it. Yet there is not one verse that says this, and the scripture has to be contorted to fit their assumptions, that since most churches hold service on the first day, it most be right. And yet it was not like that even in the early church, it came from another origin, not of God.
Many also believe, that the keeping of the Sabbath was abolished at the cross and that the first day of the week, Sunday, became the Lord’s day in honor of the resurrection. But that is untrue and the scriptures show it. The Lord has a day and scripture tells us what day it is in Matthew 12:8:
Matthew 12:8 King James Version (KJV)
"8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day."
In Isaiah, we find where God speaks of the Sabbath and calls it plainly “my holy day.”
Isaiah 58:13 King James Version (KJV)
"13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:"
And no where in Scripture does God designate an other day as His, or change the day because of the resurrection. He in fact makes sure that there is no question what day is the Sabbath. Now it also says in the Ten Commandments day that the Sabbath is and that "the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God":
Exodus 20:8-10 King James Version (KJV)
"8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:"
The Lord has a day. The Sabbath is the Lord’s day.
And now the next verse tells us when it was made:
Exodus 20:11 King James Version (KJV)
"11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
This tells us why God made the Sabbath, it was a day made for man to rest from his labors and receive a blessing. We also see the link between the Sabbath and creation and the Creator. Now we see Christ confirming it in Mark 2:27:
Mark 2:27 King James Version (KJV)
"27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:"
