Kaon, i suppose others here know where your trying to go with your point; America is responsible for destabilizing Honduras etc. America is responsible for ruining the whole world - and thats why everyone wants to come here, so they can participate in destroying the rest of the world - good, but still you have to wait your turn to join our evil empire - thats the one rule we have left!

I have debated this before, agreed we sometimes have screwed with and screwed things up at times for many countries, yet, no we aren't the reason why these countries cant get their crap together, generally they just can't get their crap together, thats it. And much more often than not these countries prosper and do much better because of the US.

Its odd, and yet still so many want us to 'continue' to 'help' these countries but it never works out. And agreed we should stay out, other countries are responsible for their own plight just as we are... I totally disagree with the argument that its our problem,or our fault.

it would be much better to debate that here, or not in this thread at least;
Latin America

That is part of the point - your thesis. But, instead of marginalizing the entire thing in order to avoid the hypocrisy of being an active or complacent participant in what the country now broods over, how about some thought?

Why not imagine what it would be like when China and Korea imperializes America, and you feel forced to run to Canada, or Mexico even? There is a serious American fetish for xenophobia - and this is especially ironic considering the history of the States.

Would you expect they would treat you as nice as the States has treated them? I imagine they would have a lot to say (a la "they are murderers...acute divorcees, homosexuals...")

Yet, you completely bypassed layperson responsibility (voting for these destabilization and being ignorant of them when warned) to get to your message. That is fine.

Just remember when America is imperialized how they treated others similarly. I am not playing blame game, I am saying look in the proverbial mirror, Christians especially.

American arrogance and exceptionalism will magnify its fall; the world does not want to invade America. The world would rather America get out of its myopia.

I gloriously welcome the invasion of China and Korea! Their leaders not only admire and applaud our imperialism and abuse of other nations, it will be revealed that they secretly want to join our carnal leaders in this depraved monopoly of evil!

And because I, as a tea party patriot, have shown total devotion to world domination, sexism, racism and oppression - my glorious resume of adherence to this hideously occultic and xenophobic realm will cause all evil leaders to appoint me a leader in their sinister new evil empire!! HA HAAHAA

You just highlighted my point on why the collapse will be so much worse for Americans: scoffing at warning, underestimating your opponent, and a general lack of imagination.

All of those things are to be expected for the same reason why other nations shake their heads at America and Americans: America is a young, naive nation on the whole. Collapse and rise is not as has as it will be for Americans because they have had centuries of practice. The people are also a people; they aren't hyphenated.

And, honestly it doesn't have to be China or Korea; I knew those nations would produce a particular response for Americans. When America falls, and because of the way it falls, it will be a free-for-all for nations that want a piece of the American (land) pie. Considering Americans do not read their own laws, and declassified material (one can tell by the incredulity), it is going to be a clean sweep.

America has no unity among people, only demographics. So, it would be very easy to break Americans, and cause them to fight and collapse the government. Technically it is already happening, but a frog doesn't realize it is in boiling water if the heat is turned up over generations.

I feel bad for the child. It sounds like from the reports now that since she had died from Sepsis, if she were not here, she would have died regardless but at least this way she got some hospital care which hopefully helped with the pain and suffering of the illness.
