(CNN)Police and CNN have issued an all-clear message after the network's New York offices and studios were evacuated Thursday night because of a phoned-in bomb threat.

"The NYPD has now given us the all clear, and employees have been permitted to return to the building,"CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker said in an internal memo to staff. "The building is secure and safe for everyone to return in the morning."

"We appreciate the swift action by the local authorities, and the patience and professionalism of all the employees who were impacted."

The threat was not substantiated, the New York Police Department tweeted.

Trump is just trying to brain wash people. Claiming any network or person, that doesn't say or agree with his every thought is fake news, or doesn't exist .So nothing happened at all. Because Trump doesn't want them around period. So don't listen to this news at all. We must think just like Trump or we shouldn't exist in Trumps mind.

I gotta disagree. I think he's far too impulsive and not nearly knowledgeable enough to create and sustain efforts to brainwash people. And he wouldn't listen to anyone who was smart enough.

The tweet in question is at 7:08, and according to the article the bomb threat was called in after 10.

Is there a time zone difference between - I assume it was the NY office and Washington DC - or is it something else.

Although I've seen some who that said the tweet came first, the stories that seem more reliable on the timeline have it the other way around.

On Thursday evening at 10:07 pm, President Donald Trump posted a tweet containing all of seven words — “FAKE NEWS - THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”

A short time later, CNN’s Don Lemon had to abruptly go to commercial break as CNN’s New York studio was evacuated because of a bomb threat.

According to the CNN, the network received a threat from a caller who said there were five explosive devices in the building. The network later said the threatening call “was received shortly before 10 pm,” before Trump posted his tweet.

I'm going by the time stamps that were posted publicly. Are people accusing twitter of changing the time stamps?

I don't know if stories from outlets are more reliable than timestamps. They could have made a mistake too. I went to the twitter feed, and that was the time that on it. Not 10:07.

Well, that's strange. It must be another CNN office then. NYC and Washington DC don't have a 3 hours time zone difference.

I'm in CDT and I've got 7:08pm as well. I'm not sure where anyone is getting the 10:07 from.
