I'm wondering what he even did to deserve this?
That's an interesting thought! .. that maybe this is justice.. but then, if we consider the nature of the spirit in those people, we can't very well presume that they are doing justice according to truth. Look at this glaring hypocrisy:
Using a bullhorn, the person accused Carlson of “promoting hate” and “an ideology that has led to thousands of people dying.”
“We want you to know, we know where you sleep at night,” the person said, before leading the group to chant, “Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!”
.. now, is anyone going to see that person as herself not promoting hate? What does this mean, "we know where you sleep at night"? .. of course it is expressing a hatred in her heart, isn't it?
So I say it probably is a case that her blind hypocrisy (the spirit of deceit that she has fallen for), has caused her to view something he has said to convey a meaning that he did not intend to convey - but that triggered her mind, the passionate hatred that is overflowing from her, that she has viewed his words as something quite objectionable in her mind.
So I wouldn't be surprised at all to find that she is wrong, if, say the justice system (or whoever it is that is responsible for maintaining peace and order) actually were to sit with her in adjudication, asking "what is the matter you have?", and checking it against what Mr. Carlson actually has said. Doing that would probably reveal that she has not given Mr. Carlson the right level of attention that he deserves, in order to be properly understood.
I support this by the fact that Mr. Carlson has not responded by saying "oh yeah, I know what their objections are and I am very sorry to have done that".
No, clearly what is needed in this case, is a proper application of investigation and counselling, so that each party can come to understand each other.
BTW, in Christianity we say that it is the devil that is the "father of lies" - so all the ideas that a person gets that makes them believe things that aren't true, are from a spirit that is of the devil. This is why I am saying that proper communication is needed, and some action for that purpose from an adjudicating agent (the courts are typically used for more serious crimes, but these behaviours are getting fairly well up there - making a peaceful family fear for their lives).
So if it is truly a case of them having believed wrongly about Mr. Carlson, then it wouldn't be justice, that he has done something that "deserves" that, but that he has done something that triggered their prejudice. Yeah, "triggered" is a pretty good word. "I wonder what he has even done to trigger this".
