There will be a new heaven and a new earth.

2 Peter 3:13
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

I think heaven is probably somewhere in outer space since Jesus ascended and went there.

The new Heaven will be the new earth where the new Jerusalem will also be.
The plural of the "New Heavens" indicate that even the universe, sky, space ect... will be new as well.
Untainted by sin because sin will be NO MORE!!!
AMEN!!!
Revelations chapter 21 and 22 are something to definitely read and study regarding this topic.

Where will heaven be for us when we die? Revelation talks about a new Earth. We know everything will be made new, but where will heaven be?

Heaven is somewhere up in the cosmos ... Jesus ascended upwards, so will we at the 1st resurrection (not when we die).

1 Corinthians 15

51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed,

The first firmament, which God called Heaven, Genesis 1:8 was made the 2nd Day and immersed in water with water above and below it, by God the Trinity. Genesis 1:6-8
The present Heaven was made the 3rd Day Genesis 2:4 by God the Son/Lord God/Jesus. The 3rd Heaven was also made the 3rd Day by Jesus.

The first Heaven was totally destroyed in the flood. 2 Peter 3:6
The present 2nd Heaven will be burned. 2 Peter 3:10
The 3rd Heaven 2 Corinthians 12:2 or New Heaven and New Earth of Revelation 21:1 is where Jesus has gone to prepare a place for ALL Christians when the present world is burned. Most people refer to the 3rd Heaven as simply Heaven. It is the object of the Creation and a perfect physical world filled with perfect people made perfect in Christ. Amen?

Heaven will remain where it is but eternity is spent upon the Earth and The Father and Son will be upon the Earth as well. That doesn't mean no one can go to heaven during the eternity but the primary home will be the Earth according to various scriptures. Rev 21-22 indicate this but there are other scriptures as well. Basically heaven is a temporary place for God and the angels and the spirits of the dead. Eventually all will inhabit the Earth.

1Ch_23:25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:

Rev_5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Psa_37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Psa_37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psa_37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Mat_5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Job_19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
Rev 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
Rev 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
Rev 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

It is not man who will go to heaven to dwell with the Father and Jesus in the eternity but the Father and Jesus dwelling with Man upon the Earth!

Heaven is the temporary dwelling place for God, angels and the spirits of the dead saints. The eternal home for all is the Earth.

Yahshua comes and destroys the Heavens, earth, and wicked with fire(Matthew 24:29-31; Micha 1:3-4; Isaiah 66:15-17,26:21,2:9; Zephaniah 1:18,2:22,3:8,1:2-3; Haggi 2:6-7; Malichi 4:1; Joel 2:10,31; Hosea 10:8; 1 Thess 1:7-9,2; 2 Peter 3:10; Revelation 6:12-17; Revelation 20:9). Every mountain, lake, river, ocean, melt away, all the stars fall from their place, and the heavens(first and second parts) roll away as a scroll and dissolve. There is nothing of this life/world left over after Christs coming. Then we are judged(those who were not part of the resurrection of the dead, 1st Resurrection) and sent to either the lake of fire or counted worthy of the kingdom of heaven. Then after we are judged the Lord creates the New heavens and the New earth(for the Old were passed away/destroyed by fire at Christ's coming) and nothing of the former world is remembered in these new heavens and earth.

So in short the New heavens and New earth will not have/be any part of this earth or these heavens(first and second parts). It will be an entirely new creation by God.

Takes place in heaven because that is where the spiritual body is.

Takes place at the Rapture. 1Th 4:15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (raptured) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Amen. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trump. Then we will mount up our wings as Eagles, meet Jesus in Heaven, where we will ever be with Him. Amen?

No. Christ left heaven to return to the Earth. Meeting the raptured saints is in the clouds and they follow him down to the Earth not back up to heaven.

Amen, but we must first put on our perfect bodies, which fly up to meet Him in the air. We will have bodies like Adam's body was before the fall. We will live forever with Jesus in the 3rd Heaven, after the 2nd Heaven, our world, is burned. 2 Peter 3:10
