Hi. My name is Brendan. I am 21 years old and am from South Africa. I was born a Christian but I lost my way a few years ago. That was until I found God again in the words of our local pastor a few days ago. I am frightened however that I will lose my way again, and that is why I joined this forum. The way I see it, the more support I have, the less likely I am to fall back into old habits again. I want to live the rest of my life as a Godly man, but I still have so much to learn.

Hello Brendan3248. I am also new hear. I joined yesterday. I am here for the same reasons. Never be frightened. I want to live my life as a Godly woman but we are of sin, so I can't see that happening but we can try. We all fall back into our ways one way or another. Have you given your life to Christ? Have you been baptised. You say you were born a Christian. Can you explain a little more on that please.

Firstly I have not been baptised, but I plan to be soon, and as for me being born a christian, by that I mean that my parents raised me as christian, but because of some questionable choices I made I lost my way. At one stage I thought that God could never forgive me. That is until I realized that it didn't matter, because I have already been forgiven when Jesus died for my sins 2000 years ago. And now I am just taking things day by day, praying and learning and fighting my demons with the help of God and the all powerful name of Jesus.

I didn't find the Truth until I was in my 30's. If there's one bit of advice I can offer, the Lord does want a personal relationship with you. He is our Father in Heaven, so pray to Him, talk to Him, read His Word, and our old sinful habits will be pushed away more and more.

Hi and welcome you are in the right place my friend. I myself have lost my ways in the past and that's it. Just the past I threw everything back to Jesus on the third time and since I submitted every thought, every number in the bank account, every meal to God. He has shown me his loving and mighty hand.

I ask for you to keep on with fellowship for the body of Christ can not work unless one another is in constant praise and discussions with Gods word.
