And not for lack of trying, right to the end. Those gallery shriekers reminded me of two-year-olds acting up in a store. "My feelings are more important than the rule of law, more important than the will of the nation duly expressed through its institutions!" Thank God this infantilism did not prevail.

Justice Kavanaugh!
Willie, I've been getting a !ot of my news from you lately.
No more Fox for me. Too expensive.

And this is great news!
And he was right to be so upset two weeks ago.

Sometimes there IS justice!

The conservatives, in their infinite wisdom, have saddled themselves with "a loose canon" for a Supreme Court Justice and are taking a huge "leap of faith!"

The New York Times and the Washington Post will do their due diligence by interviewing all those individuals that the FBI chose to ignore - the Republicans may have won this battle, but the jury is still out on the "skeletons" buried in Kavanaugh's closet!

well it would be hard to claim "mob rule won" when only a minority of Americans are represented by the Senate.
tulc(just something to think about) :)
A duly ELECTED Senate I might add. Hooray for the Constitution!

What about those of us who were concerned about the rule of law, his partisan and bizarre outbursts concerning the Clintons, his stance on executive privilege and belief that sitting presidents should not be subject to criminal investigations (not applicable to President Clinton, oddly), and related concerns? The Supreme Court is not about the will of the nation at all and never has been--it's about an individual's qualifications for a lifetime appointment.

It isn't all about "feelings," though it is unfortunate to see sexual assault allegations, no matter how poorly handled, compared to infantilism.

In the beginning Trump would say to throw the bums out and rough them up a bit while you are at it. He learned real quick that we do things different then that. For me we should arrest them and charge them a fine. That way if they are getting paid all of the money they make is going to go to pay for their fine.

Lots of Christ-like behavior in this thread.
Are you refering to when Jesus Cleanses the Temple?

Mathew 21:31
12 Then Jesus went into the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves. 13 And He declared to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”

Jeremiah 7:11 "Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD."

1 Peter 4:17 "For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?"

Right now they are talking about how three liberal judges are going to go down for accepting bribes and corruption on the court.
Source? That is a serious accusation, who made it?

Mob Rule Failed

Our conservatives "friends" may be putting on a "brave face" but the fact remains nobody knows what those dozens of potential witnesses, that the FBI was instructed to ignore, can bring to the table concerning Kavanaugh's past behavior!

Never fear that the New York Times and the Washington Post will step in and complete the kind of investigation that the FBI was not permitted to conduct, which will make for very interesting reading while the 2018 Interims are in full swing!

The last thing the Republicans want is for this Supreme Court "dust up" to continue as a major issue during the Interims - given that it could seriously undermine their appeal to the women's vote!

If Feinstein had even the slightest hope an investigation would turn up anything, she would have hand-carried that letter, at a dead run, straight to the FBI, on July 30th when she received it.

There is no end, they are not going to stop until the angels thrown them into the bottomless pit. Unless they repent and turn away from their sin and transgression. I hope they hold the entire Supreme Court to the standard they are expecting from Kavanaugh. Because there are liberals that may end up in jail if they judged them the way the judged Kavanaugh. We need to test them ALL to see if they can stand up to the scrutiny people are expecting out of Supreme Court Justices in this day and age. Right now they are talking about how three liberal judges are going to go down for accepting bribes and corruption on the court. Maybe Kavanaugh will be the one to turn them in when he gets there. Maybe he will clean house. The American public has spoken. They have set the standard. Now lets see if the liberal judges can meet their standard.
I wasn't aware that God is a "registered Republican!"

I think we do. It’s called hearsay.
