They will be together if they are both saved. However, what Jesus says very strongly implies there will be no sex in heaven. Or do you believe angels are having sex---esp. since only males are ever mentioned? You, however, very strongly believe there will be sex.
I believe that there will be some of us that will meet the requirements to continure to be husbands and wives in our EL. (1 Peter 3:7) There is one major reason to remain in a marriage arrangement, and that is to have children. What we do not know is how these children will come into existence.

Here on earth our children come to us by a sexual manner. We do not know if it is the same in heaven. We will have to wait and see.

What we do know is that some of us are going to be single as the angels are, clearly spoken of in Matthew 22. It is also clear that some of us will be married, and together we will be heirs of EL as spoken of in 1 Peter 3. And you are right, both husband and wife have to be saved.

Would you comment on your belief of 1 Peter 3:7?

It was a summary. I simply paraphrased what Jesus said. I didn’t misquote him.
Did you read 1 Peter 3:7 that the husband and the wife can be heirs together of Eternal Life (EL)?

So I believe Matthew 22 that some of us will be single, and be like the angels in heaven.

I also believe 1 Peter 3 that some of us will be husband and wife and together we will be heirs of EL.

Would you comment on your belief of 1 Peter 3:7?

1 Peter 3:7 doesn't say husband and wife are not saved by their individual new births. Each spouse must be born again. The new birth is wrought by the Holy Spirit. It is an event not an endeavor.

It is clear we all will be together---it is not clear at all that we will be married. the purpose of marriage is sex and children--this implies there is no sex in heaven for there is no marriage in heaven we will be like the angels, Jesus did not say--those that are in heaven without their spouse will be like the angels in heaven---He clearly says we--meaning all. Jesus was answering the question as to which of these 7 husbands would be her husband in heaven. Clearly the answer is none--for there is no marriage in heaven, they would all be together -but there is no marriage in heaven so no sex.
As for children---there are millions and millions of babies and children that have died, and died innocently and saved. We will be up to our elbows in kids.

Matthew 22 doesn’t say that some of us will be single in heaven it says that everyone will be single in heaven.

Being heirs together of eternal life doesn’t mean we will be married in heaven.

Matthew 22:30 (KJV)
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
To answer your first question, who is the "they" in Mat. 22:30? The Church of Jesus Christ believes "they" represent the 7 men and the woman, who are the center of the question, but not all people. Now I know you will have a different opinion, but if Jesus meant all people, why did he simply not say that "all people" will be...., but he doesn't because the question did not involve all people, it involved just the 7 men and the woman and Jesus referred to them as "they", instead of "the 7 men and the woman".

Besides it is well within reason to interpret the word "together" in 1 Peter 3:7 to establish that there will be some that will remain "together" in EL, and will be married.

Therefore I am willing to reconcile these 2 verses in the bible by saying that in the resurrection, most will remain single, but some will be continue "together" in EL.

It is a reasonable interpretation.

It does not say in the resurrection "there is no marriage in heaven". What it does say is in the resurrection, "they neither marry", nor are "given in marriage". Meaning, if you are not married before the resurrection, you will neither marry, nor be given in marriage during the resurrection, so you will be single and like the angels.

IOW if you are not married by the time of the resurrection, you will not be husband and wife, and "together" be heirs of EL, as stated by 1 Peter 3:7.

This is a reasonable interpretation. Some will be married and most will be single. Unless your religion forbids marriage in heaven, then of course it is abominable heresy to interpret the scripture that way.

Again you are off point. We are not talking about being born-again, but being married in heaven for our EL. Of course we must be born-again to have EL, so both the husband and the wife, if they are born-again will be heirs "together" of EL. I will modify 1 Peter 3:7 for your sake.

If that is reasonable---so is the fact that Jesus did say everyone when He said "they"---meaning everyone in heaven will be as the angels. For this woman went by the God based standard of marriage after the death of a husband and was married in the eyes of God to eah husband---just as much as anyone else.

I’m sorry dude but you want so bad for your beliefs to be true you’ve brainwashed yourself.

The “they” in Matthew 22:30 is speaking of everyone. They = People

Romans 8:17 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
17 If we are God’s children, we will get the blessings God has for his people. He will give us all that he has given Christ. But we must suffer like Christ suffered. Then we will be able to share his glory.

Romans 8:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Romans 8:11-19 Good News Translation (GNT)
11 If the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death, lives in you, then he who raised Christ from death will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of his Spirit in you.

12 So then, my friends, we have an obligation, but it is not to live as our human nature wants us to. 13 For if you live according to your human nature, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death your sinful actions, you will live. 14 Those who are led by God's Spirit are God's children. 15 For the Spirit that God has given you does not make you slaves and cause you to be afraid; instead, the Spirit makes you God's children, and by the Spirit's power we cry out to God, “Father! my Father!” 16 God's Spirit joins himself to our spirits to declare that we are God's children. 17 Since we are his children, we will possess the blessings he keeps for his people, and we will also possess with Christ what God has kept for him; for if we share Christ's suffering, we will also share his glory.

The Future Glory
18 I consider that what we suffer at this present time cannot be compared at all with the glory that is going to be revealed to us. 19 All of creation waits with eager longing for God to reveal his children.

Romans 8:17 is the only place, where Joint-heirs is used.

Related to Marriage in Heaven.

Romans 7:2-3 ESV
For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

Temple marriage teaches that the Atonement (death and resurrection) of Christ was insufficient payment to purchase our salvation.

1 Corinthians 6
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Peter 1
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Romans 3
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Being heirs together of eternal life doesn’t mean that we’ll be married in heaven.

No, it is not a reasonable interpretation. The passage in Peter says nothing about being married in heaven.
