I wouldn't say she lied about it. I have a fear of flying ... but in cases of emergencies ... which are very very rare, I will do it and am extremely uncomfortable the whole time.

I have a fear of shots that I developed over years of medical procedures I had to have as a kid. Yet Monday, I got my flu shot.

Does this mean that I'm "lying" about my fear of shots, or that I've begun to reach a point in my adult life where I'm more able to handle inoculations? To say that this is "proof" of Ford "lying" is ridiculous and comes across as a very desperate attempt at character assassination.

She's being HANDLED by an ex FBI agent, who just so happens to be her BFF in High School, and they then roomed together for a bit in California. When she testified under oath she stated she was in Rehoboth Beach Delaware when she wrote Diane Finestein the 2nd letter. Guess who lives there ? Her BFF, the retired FBI Agent Ms Monica L McLean.

She was recruited by the FBI, she added McCabes attorney for the hearing remember ?

I'm still looking for any evidence that she or her lawyers ever claimed that her fear of flying prevented her from appearing. Copying from another thread (which has been closed (not because of me!)).

It's more about wanting the FBI to do an investigation first. Neither does this one. It's more about being jerked around by arbitrary deadlines.

Asking someone to clarify an initial statement doesn't strike me as the grand conspiracy you seem to think it is. She made a statement, her friends thought it was not completely accurate, she clarified. This happens all the time. How desperate are you?

That newspapers quoting lawyers, not the actual texts which the FBI have and which the Senators making the decisions have. They tried to get her to lie !! My initial point as per Monica McLean was spot on, the letter to Diane Finestien was written from her house in Rehoboth Beach De. and Mrs Ford's long time friend Leland Keyser was denoted a an HE not a SHE..........So it looks like someone else wrote her letter and just assumed Leland was a man.

Charles Grassley in a letter to Mrs Ford and her lawyers last night told Mrs Ford and her lawyers that in light of new information he wants to know what contacts she had with:

1. Dem Senators, especially Diane Finestien and Sen. Hirono.

Huh? What are you babbling about? A lawyer asked Ford to clarify and she did. Somehow, this is being seen as worse than Watergate for...some reason. I don't even know.

What I do know is that Kav repeatedly lied and Ford was never shown to have any major inconsistencies.
