agree love and pray for your leaders as the bible says....

for the sake of my salvation...it doesnt matter if joel or other leaders are in love with this world or the money of this world...
all that mattters is that I stay out of the love of mana and the things of this world.....

but I must pray and forgive theses leaders as scripture says

Your salvation will not be forsaken, unless you forsake it purposely.
It makes me wonder why people judge others who have prospered more than they have.
How do you know the heart of a minister of God?
It seems hypocritical to live and participate in a world, that is based on a monetary system, then turn and presume others are lovers of money because they are blessed with more than you.

I am not trying to be harsh in replying, but All of us use money to live.
So how can I judge others motives ?
Jessie Duplantis has reached 2.9 Billion people with the Gospel.
He has global networks and I believe in 37 different languages.
We are commanded go ye into all the World and preach the Gospel.
So He has had 3 jets and wants another one.
This doesent mean he has kept the others, He gave away 2 and has used his current one for 12 years.
He did not ask his supporters for the New one , He said he was believing God for it.
There are good reasons for the New one.
Joel has a Basketball Venue for his Church, and pays to preach in many places on TV himself.
How much has both of these men brought in and paid to spread the Gospel?
On social media I see quotes from Joel all the time, He is touching lives and changing thoughts for Christ.
There are lovers of money in the ministry, you know them by their fruit.
They do not preach Christ they beg money for a half hour at a time, or make vain promises of answered prayer if you give to them.
There are good and bad people in every walk of life.
Who do we serve?

Prosperity is not something we need to pursue, Jesus is our pursuit. Solomon rejected prosperity and sought wisdom instead. That delighted the Lord so much, that he gave him both wisdom and prosperity.
Jesus cannot be separated from prosperity and wisdom. Jesus is prosperity and wisdom.

What was Solomon's end who didn't know the above?

A person to whom God gives the knowledge that he is in His hand and none can pluck him away (seen in john 10:28,29) can never lose his salvation.

Mark 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

Forbid him not - Do not prevent his doing good. If he can work a miracle in my name, it is sufficient proof of attachment to me, and he should not be prevented.

John thought that it was evidence that he could not be right, because he did not join them and follow the Saviour. Our Lord taught him differently.

He opposed no one who gave evidence that he loved him. Wherever he might be or whatever his work, yet, if he did it in the name of Jesus and with the approbation of God, it was evidence sufficient that he was right. [BARNES]

Meanwhile all of us either get our reward from this world, or in the next. We can indeed have great riches here, but it is far better to have treasure in heaven.
Or rather both.
God is not against us having much in the here and now. What He is against is making these things priority over Him in our lives.

The elect can't walk away, as desire and action is from God. Philippians 2:13.
Your scripture....for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

This is God working in a WILLING vessels.
He changes ones heart and again if one is willing to change. Far to many believers are slow to change from a vast array of reasons.

Our enemy the devil has a plan for every believer as well and is ALWAYS working to try and get it done. For many believers his trickery and perversion takes hold and slowly draws them back into the world.

The dangerous part is that one can only turn away so long from the Holy Spirit until He will leave and then evil fills that space and it's a brand new day for them. A day where the heart is so hardened that outside of a miracle. ....they will not repent and turn back to God.

I thank you for your reply but please understand the scriptures you use.
Blessings

The elect of God will surely be saved as they have been elected by His will. So God is going to use you to preach the gospel as it was He who put such a burden in your heart.

Are you a word of Faith Member?
I may have misunderstood your post can you tell us about the non elect or are all God's elect?

This should be interesting and would take a little more than the "one liners" in response.

Read proverbs 21:1

God does not work through willing vessels. Rather He makes them willing to work. Saul on the road to Damascus.

Avoid focussing on the devil and his works. Look to how Jesus defeated Satan on the cross. Colossians 2:15.

Hmm! So... God twisted Saul's arm. Let me think on this. God only works through "unwilling" vessels which (your saying) means that God doesn't, or (won't) work through you if your willing... but He WILL work through you when your NOT willing to work through Him?

I think we're a little backwards here. Satan is the one who works through the "unwilling" Christian. As far as Saul on the road to Damascus, he could have said, "sorry... not interested!" However, Paul was so overwhelmed by that supernatural experience that he "willingly" surrendered himself. God did not make Saul to become Paul. Saul made the choice and received Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Some will not believe in Jesus. There is plenty of evidence in the Word of God to help make them believe! Failure to be Christ's sheep was the evidence (not the cause) of their unbelief. (same scripture, another translation).

41. For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. 42. And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

There are many today who have the mindset that John had at that time.
The reason for today's religous nonsense is good ol fashioned pride.
When we are with believers in Christ, we share the love of Christ toward one another.
Yet today we see so much bitterness and boastful infallibility toward others.
We waste time of fellowship, trying to explain ourselves to egotistical people who believe they are more enlightened than others.
Personally I do not study God's Word to impress others.
I study God's Word to draw closer to Him.
One thing that should be remembered when we fellowship it is for building our Faith and the edification of one another.
Otherwise it is a gross lack of Spiritual maturity to knee jerk at everyone's comments.

God Bless

John 10: 26 tells as to why some don't believe in Jesus.

No John 10 :26 was not a open invitation to interptation of the Word of Christ.
This was Christ answering Jews who doubted his divinity.

John 10: 25. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30. I and my Father are one.

This was a proprietary passage , due to the expection of the Legalistic Jews who wanted a Messiah of their choosing not Gods.
