Jesus did provide the Atonement for our sins. But we can still sin, knowingly and unknowingly. We need to now pray for forgiveness for those sins and later we will be able to make physical offerings in God's Temple for any wrongdoings we may have done and we can also physically give symbols of our crops and livestock to God, of gratitude for His provision to us.

I have shown many undeniable scriptures that prove the existence of a new Temple in the end times. Why ignore them? We build Churches and Cathedrals, why not a proper Temple to the glory of God?

Hebrews 10
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Why would God revive that in which He took no pleasure?
Why would God reestablish the first, when Christ took it and them away to establish the second?
Why would God revive sacrifices which can never take away sins?
Why would God revive sacrifices when His Son offered one sacrifice for sins for ever?
Where does the New Will and Testament in Christ's Blood declare that the old will and testament sacrifices will be revived?

Ask God those questions, I just know the Bible prophesies plainly say there will be a new Temple in the last days.
Daniel 9:27 says there will be sacrifices and offerings in a Temple, one that the Anti-Christ will desecrate at the mid point of the 70th year of Daniel.
Some preterists try to make out that it has all happened, but their theory just doesn't stand scrutiny.

I suggest that you look very carefully at the prophesies about the end times. God does have a plan and we should know about it.

Does it say that Jerusalem and the temple will be rebuilt and destroyed twice in daniel's 70 'sevens' prophecy?

God has provided the precise, full, and complete answers to those questions in Hebrews 10:6-12.

There is no antichrist expressed or implied in Daniel 9.

That is quite a good question.
Looking carefully at Daniel 9:25-26, we see that for 7 + 62 'weeks', the city, Jerusalem will remain restored. As it was by Nehemiah.
Then the army of an invading prince will destroy city and sanctuary. As it was by Titus, in 70-135 AD

But then; Daniel 9:27 goes on to tell of a later prince, who will make a treaty for the remaining 7 years, but will break it at the halfway point and stop the offerings and sacrifices.
So as yet there has been no 7 year treaty that we know of and in order for the offerings, etc to be stopped, there has to be a new Temple for them to be started in.
This new Temple is prophesied in many OT and NT scriptures. 2 Thess 2:4, Revelation 11:1-2

Please cease making unsupported opinions.
The Anti-Christ is implied there and in Daniel 11:31, also is well described in Revelation.
God has provided the precise, full, and complete answers to those questions in Hebrews 10:6-12.
Yes, for the Church age.
But you miss 1 Corinthians 10:11, where we are told that what happened to ancient Israel were examples for us, upon whom the end of the age has come.

The type of statement made by someone who has no proper rebuttal to the truths presented.

It is the type of statement made by someone who knows the difference between the Word of God and the words of men...

Nowhere in the New Testament do we find the "Church", as being a building.

Where in Daniel 9 is antichrist implied?

1 Corinthians 10
11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Present tense, true as of the time when Paul wrote. No mention or implication of resumption of animal sacrifices.

I answered that in #286. You reply with another opinion.

This may be a surprise, but the end of the world has not come yet.
Paul was prophesying in God's timing, to Him it hasn't quite been 2 days yet.

As for the Temple and future sacrifices, I know the scriptures very well and there is plenty of proof that there will be another Temple and we Christians will worship in it.
Acts of the Apostles 15:16-18 Thereafter; I will Return and rebuild the fallen House of David. I will rebuild its ruins and set it up again, so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord; all the Gentiles whom I have claimed for My own. The Lord will do this, as He made it known long ago.

I suggest that those who, for whatever reason, don't like the idea of a new Temple, just keep their beliefs to themselves, because to fight against that truth makes you deny plain scripture and may result in some future embarrassment, if not worse.

There is no Temple being built in Jerusalem now. The Jews have done some preparation, but to start construction, would trigger a war with Islam.

The temple of GOD has been under construction in Jerusalem for nearly 2000 years. When it is completed the lord will return. That is the temple the prophets were talking about. A temple made with wood and stone has no meaning because GOD doesn't dwell in buildings made by hands.

I know the scriptures very well and there is plenty of proof that there will be another Temple and we Christians will worship in it.

The construction of the third temple began almost 2,000 years ago.

I am involved in the construction of that temple, and have personally seen and touched some of the stones which make up the temple.

Joh 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Joh 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Joh 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
Joh 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Peter described the third temple in the passage below.

1Pe 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1Pe 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

When the construction of the third temple is completed the "chief cornerstone" will be returned to the rightful place in the temple.

Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

If Daniel 9:26 and 27 are about 2 different temples, Where is the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the temple mentioned between Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 9:27?

If you're referring to "he" in Daniel 9:27 (post #282), His antecedent is the "prince" in verse 26, whose antecdent is "Messiah the Prince" in verse 25.

The only individual identified as a prince in the passage is Messiah, the Christ.

There is no antichrist.

The Third Temple, yet to be built, is prophesied to be more splendid that any former Temple. Haggai 2:6-9
Nonsense.
"This house" the one being built at the time. Not a future temple. Its glory was greater because the Lord was there, and from it living waters spread throughout the world, the gospel when the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost.

Very little of that will be found in Daniel 9. Antichrist is neither mentioned nor implied. No seven year treaty is mentioned. Nor will this non existent treaty be broken because it will not exsist.

The prince who was to come was Titus. His people, the Roman soldiers destroyed the temple against his instructions.

This new Temple is not prophesied in many OT and NT scriptures. 2 Thess 2:4,

Prophesied elsewhere. Zechariah 1:16-17, Zechariah 8:9-12, Zechariah 6:15, Micah 4:1-2, Isaiah 56:6-7, Ezekiel 40 to 47

I don’t know what happened to the rest of my post.

This new Temple is not prophesied in many NT scriptures. 2 Thess 2:4 Paul does not mention the temple except as the church.
  • 1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you.
  • 1 Corinthians 3:17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
  • 2 Corinthians 6:16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Christ confirmed the Covenant with the Jews for 3½ years during his earthly ministry
  • Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
and a further 3½ years through the apostles till the conversion of Cornelius, when the gospel was generally opened up to the gentiles.

Really? Where did I do that?
If I did add to Daniel 9, it would have been using other scripture to help explain what is said.

Your opinion is refuted in the scripture you quote!

No you didn't. Your providing me with your assumption that Daniel 9:26 and 27 are about 2 different temples. Please provide scripture that shows Jerusalem and the temple will be rebuilt again after its destruction in Daniel 9:26.

I specifically asked about Daniel 9. Where in Daniel 9, does it state that Jerusalem and the temple are rebuilt a 2nd time. I clearly see the first time to rebuild Jerusalem:

Daniel 9:25 From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One,f the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’

Where is the 2nd time in Daniel 9
