In observing the online chatter in various Christian forums over time, I have come to see that many claim the body of Jesus Christ did literally die and then ressurect back to life.

If this is literally a true or accurate claim, then do you think resurrection is a faith based conversation or a science based conversation?

It seems to me, if the claim is accurate, the conversation should shift from faith to science.

I am interested what people here might have to say...

I expect the scientific types will deny ressurection is possible, and the religious types will deny any scientific discussion about resurrection is possible...

I wonder why this is the case...

All that really matters, is what the Inspired, Infallible Word of Almighty God, the Holy Bible has to say on this great subject. the Apostle Paul covers this in some detail in his First Letter to the Church at Corinth. you can read this here, 1 Corinthians 15 ESV

I did not know there was a fake Resurrection,

This thread makes no sense.

Is there a scientific discussion about resurrection? I highly doubt it, as there isn't any scientific evidence one way or the other that I know of.

Good luck getting a scientific discussion, science is focused on natural phenomenon.

Well, for starters, how about this link to an article about how The Prince of Tides star, Barbara Streisand, cloned her beloved dead dog.

Copycat culture: is it wrong to clone a beloved dead pet?

Looks like this example requires the cloning sample (skin or muscle tissue containing DNA) to be inserted into an egg, and then that egg raised through natural processes, by impregnating another dog with it.

Not quite as impressive as the claim of Jesus Christ's exact body being resurrected in 3 days, but seems at least to be a similar process.

It says,

No man has power to retain the spirit, or power over the day of death. There is no discharge from war, nor will wickedness deliver those who are given to it. ~Ecclesiastes 8:8

So when Yahshua said this:

No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father. ~John 10:18

This clearly means that the resurrection is under the purview of Gods, mate and cannot be counterfeited through man. So you will not be able to study resurrection in a lab.

There is Science involved with the death of Christ, and in the details of the type of stones used for tombs from that period and society and the Science in moving of such a stone, with the resurrected Christ though, as I understand it mostly involves history and eye witness accounts, but maybe someone will come along with a different answer. :)

There have been lots of scientific discussions about cloning.

Do you think resurrection is the same as or similar to cloning.

No, it's nothing like cloning.

Why would you consider that it might be like cloning?

If you can claim resurrection is nothing like cloning, does this mean you know the processes involved in resurrection well enough to make such a claim?
I know cloning well enough and what Jesus was like from the Bible, so yup I am confident they are not even close to the same thing.

I believed the claim that Jesus Christ was literally resurrected and began to wonder, how so?
Do you understand cloning? Because if you do I don't see why you would be asking the question.

Answer your own question. If I prove to you through scripture that Yahshua was God because scripture cannot be broken and it says "no man has power over the day of death" yet he says he has power over it then what does this mean for everything man is able to accomplish? That the very nature of resurrection is a manifestation of heavenly power should be enough for you to conclude your answer.

So you're knowledge of Jesus comes solely from reading the bible and you have never actually met Jesus, is that correct?

And is it also correct that you have no recollection that you have ever died and been resurrected?

First I asked you a question. Do you understand cloning?

I have no experience in cloning, but just read up on it.

I can imagine more advanced processes of cloning being secretly known, the proprietary processes of which are not revealed in the public domain.
