Zephaniah 3:1-8 Woe to the place of oppression, filthy and defiled, they heed no warning voice and ignore God’s rebukes. They won’t take correction or place their trust in their Creator. Their leaders have no concern for the people and prophet and priest alike profane the Holy Scriptures.

The Lord has judged and punished them before, their land laid waste and the towns deserted and He thought: surely now they will fear Me and will accept instruction, but they continue on in their evil deeds and they show no shame for it.

Judah has been punished by Babylon and by Rome.

Therefore: look out for Me, for the Day when I will stand up to witness against you, on the Day that I execute justice upon the nations, for I will pour out My fierce anger and the whole earth will be enveloped by the fire of My wrath.
This will be the great and terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath against the nations. Prophesied in the Bible over 100 times. 2 Peter 3:7, Revelation 6:12-17, +

Zephaniah 3:11-13 On that Day, Jerusalem, I shall wipe away your shame for all the transgressions committed in you, for I shall remove all your proud and arrogant citizens, only the humble and peaceful people will remain and those who never practice evil or speak lies, they will settle in the Land and nothing will disturb them.
This is the great Second Exodus of all of God’s people into all of the holy Land. Every faithful Christian: a vast multitude from every tribe, race, nation and language. Isaiah 66:18-21, Ezekiel 34:11-31, Romans 9:24=26, Revelation 7:9

Zephaniah 3:9-10 They will all know a pure language, so everyone will know the true Name of the Lord and will praise Him with one accord. My worshippers, all the righteous people will come from afar to worship the Lord and bring offerings to Him. People from every race, nation and language, all the born again Christian people, will travel there to live, in the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, while the rest of the world is ruled by a One World Government. Daniel 7:23, Revelation 17:12

Zephaniah 3:14-17 Daughter of Jerusalem; sing for joy! For the Lord has taken away your punishments and has cast out your enemies. Now the Lord is with you and you need never again fear disaster.
On the Day of the Lord’s wrath; This is the message for My people: Fear not, stand firm in your faith, your God will keep you safe and will rejoice over you.
Ref: REB, CJB, KJV. Some verses condensed and paraphrased.

This chapter of Zephaniah encapsulates the soon to happen end times story.

It tells how Jerusalem is denigrated by its ungodly inhabitants and will rejoice when they are gone. How those enemies of the Lord, the evil neighbors, Jeremiah 12:14, and all who reject the Salvation of Jesus, will be uprooted, then the holy Land resettled by the Lord’s faithful believers. Ezekiel 34:11-31 tells it plainly.

Jeremiah 7:30-34 & 8:1-13 The people of Judah have done wrong, they worship idols and have no regard for their Creator....Therefore, the time is coming when I shall fill the valley of Topeth with their corpses.......All the survivor’s of this wicked race, from wherever I have banished them, would rather die than live. Isaiah 22:14

...Judah is incurable in their waywardness......I listen, but I hear not one word of remorse ....My people do not know the Judgements of the Lord. How can you say: We are wise and we have the Law of God, when your scribes and priests have falsified it? The wise are shamed and where is wisdom in them?
Therefore I will give their wives to others and give their land to new owners, for all of their prophets and priests are frauds....on My Day of reckoning, they will fall with a great crash. I shall surely consume them says the Lord and there will be no grapes on the vine, [Israel] and no figs on the fig tree. [Judah]

We Christians are told by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:4-5, that we should know God’s plans for what will happen in the near future. Zephaniah 3 gives it to us, confirmed by the sequence of Revelation chapters 6-7.

What is presented to you in these scriptures, is God’s Promises to His faithful people, His blessings of peace and prosperity, of joy and happiness, of security and long life, as all who love Him and keep the Commandments; will live in His Land.

It is the prophetic parallel of ancient Israel, where Jesus led the people through the desert and how most of them refused to accept the Promise. 1 Corinthians 10:6-13
Ezekiel 20:34-38 tells how, once again, some of His people will revolt and rebel and they will not enter the Land of Israel.

In today’s situation, we have many who have accepted the Gospel, but who have chosen their own beliefs about what God intends to do for His people and during this forthcoming test, 1 Peter 4:12, they may fail to stand firm in their trust that the Lord will protect them. This won’t lose their salvation, but it will be a serious disadvantage, 1 Corinthians 3:13-15

As the great chapter of Isaiah 35:1-10, one of the many prophesies that describe the Lord’s faithful Christian people entering the holy Land, says: ...no one unclean will go there....The Lord’s people, set free: will enter Zion with shouts of triumph.

"Soon" to God can be 10,000 years. He is not affected by time.
There are many indications of the imminence of dramatic changes to the world.
What is prophesied by the prophets of God, will happen.
Why should you or any Christian, be taken unawares?

All the Land that was promised to Abraham will be cleared and cleansed after this next prophesied event, the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, the Judgement by fire. Isaiah 66:15-16 Then, as Isaiah and Ezekiel prophesy; His people will be gathered and ‘passed under the rod’. [The rod of judgement and separation] The righteous then enter the Land, with great joy, singing praises to their Redeemer. Ezekiel 20:34-38, Isaiah 35:1-10

Isaiah 6:11-12 I asked the Lord: How long? Until the Land and cities are desolate and deserted, their houses vacant. He will drive the people far away and all the country will be one vast desolation.

Isaiah 17:9 On the Day of retribution, cities will be deserted, like those of your enemies in ancient times.

When the Christian Israelites, the faithful people of God; Jews and Gentiles, enter the depopulated Land, there are amazing promises to them of how the Land will be fruitful and they will live in the houses left vacant. Christians from every tribe, race, nation and language are the true Israelites of God. Galatians 3:26-29, 6:16

Psalm 69:35 For You will deliver Zion and the cities will be rebuilt. The Lord’s people will settle there and possess it.

Amos 9:14 I shall restore the fortunes of My people, they will rebuild their devastated cities and live in them, plant vineyards and enjoy prosperity in their Land.
Isaiah 54:2-3 Extend your boundaries, for you will spread in all directions and dispossess nations, then repopulate cities now desolate.

Ezekiel 36:10 & 33 I shall settle in the Land all the Israelite people. The towns will again be inhabited and the ruined places rebuilt.

Jeremiah 30:18 I shall restore the fortunes of Jacobs clans. Every city will be restored and houses again rebuilt.

Isaiah 58:12-14 Buildings in ruins will be restored and you will rebuild on ancient foundations. You will be called ‘the restorer of houses’. Ref. REB.

2 Esdras 1:35-37 I shall hand over the homes of your enemies to a people yet to come, a people who will trust Me, though they have not known Me, who will obey My commandments, even though they never saw the prophets. Yet they will keep in mind what the prophets taught of old. I vow that these people will have My favour, they will perceive by the spirit and believe what I have said.

After the terrible Day of the Lord’s wrath, a Day of fire and earthquakes; in a very short time, Isaiah 29:17, the Land will be regenerated and resettled. There is no mention of Jesus being present as yet, in fact they select their own leaders. Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11

They will rebuild the temple. [Zechariah 6:15] Later, it is them who greet the Returning Jesus with the shout ‘Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!’

Hey Keras!

What if I prefer to stay in Oregon?

Will I be allowed to? Or will I be compelled abandon my Home of 50+ years and move to a foreign country that I have no desire to live in?

Ezekiel 36:10 & 33 I shall settle in the Land all the Israelite people. The towns will again be inhabited and the ruined places rebuilt.

Sounds like we have no choice in the matter, huh?

We have free will. Do what you like!
However, when you have no electric power, your house has burned down and rule of law has gone, you will reconsider staying and will come to where the Lord has promised He will bless His people.
See you there!

So you believe the statement in Ezek. 36 you posted above "I shall settle in the Land all the Israelite people."
Is not to be taken Literally?

Wait, what? Arent you speaking of a time period where Jesus rules the nations with a rod of Iron?
How exactly will his rod of iron rule of the nations be one where lawlessness reigns?

Understand who are the true Israelites of God today.
They are every faithful Christian believer, from every tribe, race, nation and language. That includes you and I, I presume. Revelation 5:9-10
WE are the people that God will call His children, as we live in the very place that ethnic Israel was called 'not my people'. Romans 9:24-26 is a plain statement - believe it or not.
Wait, what? Arent you speaking of a time period where Jesus rules the nations with a rod of Iron?
How exactly will his rod of iron rule of the nations be one where lawlessness reigns?
No; I am showing you and all who desire the truth, that the time is very soon that the Lord will Judge the nations with His fiery wrath, that will change the world and allow all that is prophesied to happen BEFORE Jesus Returns; to take place.
This involves the virtual depopulation of the entire Middle East, Zephaniah 1:14-18, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Amos 1, and the repopulation of the holy Land with the people of God. Isaiah 35:1-10, Ezekiel 34:11-16, Amos 9:13-15

Zechariah 9:14-15 The Lord will appear over His people and His weapon of judgement will flash like lightning. His war shofar will make a great sound, accompanied by a terrible whirlwind. The Lord will protect His people and they will exult in His deliverance. Paralleled by Isaiah 30:26

Zechariah 10:1-12 For now, your false gods and idols give empty promises, dreams and delusions. So My people are left to wander about, like sheep and distressed for the lack of a proper shepherd.

The Lord’s anger burns against the leaders of His people, they will fall on the Day of His wrath.
For the Lord will care for His flock, He will strengthen the House of Judah and save the House of Joseph. From Judah will come the leaders that will be My battleaxe and they will rout the enemy, because I am with them. The warriors of Ephraim will exult and rejoice in the Lord’s victory and in their deliverance. The families of the Lord’s people will see and be glad with what the Lord has done.

The pride of the nations will be brought low, but Israel’s strength will be in the Lord, they will march proudly in His Name.

He will whistle and call them in. His redeemed people, though now in far off lands, they will answer the call. They will return to their heritage, bringing their children with them. The Lord will bring them home from every nation around the world and He will lead them into Gilead and Lebanon until there is no more room for them all. They will pass through rivers that will dry up for them to cross.

The Lord will give rain in due season, grass in the fields and fruit abundantly. On the Day the Lord takes action, He will save His flock. For they are like precious gems in His crown, they will sparkle all over His Land. What wealth is theirs! What beauty! Good food and drink will give health and strength to the young men and women. Ref: REB, CJB.

This prophecy reiterates the great promise of God to His righteous people, whether they are true descendants of Jacob or grafted in Christians. The Lord will protect them on His great Day of judgement and punishment of the nations, as He brings down the pride of His enemies, but the strength of all true believers is in the Lord. He will be revealed to them; 2 Thess. 1:10, and will direct them into the Holy Land as He did with ancient Israel. 1 Corinthians 10:4 This is not the Return in glory, to come later.

All of that area given so long ago to Abraham, will be burnt, devastated and depopulated by the Lord’s Day of wrath – lightning flashes, great noise, earthquakes and powerful storms - as described here and in other prophesies as a coronal mass ejection, explosion of the sun, that will affect all of the world, but primarily the Middle East region. Zephaniah 2:4, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Amos 1, 2 Peter 3:7

Ezekiel 36:8 But you mountains of Israel, put forth your branches and bear fruit, for the homecoming of My people is near.

This and many other prophesies say how the Lord will send rain and the holy Land will quickly regenerate into a Land of plenty and prosperity, ready for the great emigration of all the Lord’s Christian peoples. Psalms 107 They will live there as the rest of the end time prophesies unfold and it is them who say to Jesus: Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord! Be ready for the whistle!

And I would agree.

WE are the people that God will call His children, as we live in the very place that ethnic Israel was called 'not my people'. Romans 9:24-26 is a plain statement - believe it or not.

Will Call? Doesn't He ALREADY call us that? Or Are we still waiting for Him to do so?

No; I am showing you and all who desire the truth, that the time is very soon

While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'm simply not going to hold my breath on this.
The Apostles shared your same assurances about the nearness in their time, and unlike you today, they were divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit to infallibly communicate those assurances to their contemporaries:

James 5:8-9
the coming of the Lord is near...behold, the Judge is standing right at the door

1 Peter 4:7
But the end of all things is at hand

Revelation 1:3
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Phil 4:5
The Lord is at hand

Hebrews 10:37
for yet a very very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not tarry

When you ostensibly ask us to disregard the apostles on this and instead accept YOUR position, I trust you'll forgive me when I don't hold your fallible, random, 21st-century internet assertions of the "nearness" with any greater urgency than the infallible, 1st-century assertions of "nearness" made by the Divinely Inspired Apostles.

Spiritually we are now, physically; we await the day when we all gather in the holy land.

We have head-butted on this issue before. I reject your preterist ideas. They basically infer that we have no future!
The simple fact that what the Apostles thought would happen soon for them; did not and has not yet happened, tells us the truth that what they prophesied was in God's timing. 2 Peter 3:8 got it right.
