Is the Earth flat or round???

I'm really starting to believe that our Earth is really flat and not a globe like the world leads us to believe and need others thoughts on this as well.

In Genesus 1:6-9 we read (lets look at the word firmament and what it's really saying) and in verses 14,15,17 it's talking about the sun and moon and stars

6,And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7,And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8,And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day
9,And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry landappear: and it was so.
14,And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15,And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
17,And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

There also been documentaries on earth being measured and found not to be round/globe as the world wants us to believe.

Trust me, it's round. We've known that for about 2500 years, and we've had very accurate measurements of its curvature for about 300 years. We also have pictures of the Earth from space. And we've sent multiple expeditions to Antarctica, and there's no "edge" there.

Also, there's no other way of explaining the stars of the Southern Hemisphere; the midnight sun in Antarctica; and the time it takes to fly between different Southern Hemisphere countries.

If we were living on a flat surface, an awful lot of what we actually see happen in the sky just simply would not be able to happen. The idea just doesn't match reality.

It has a very slight curve ending in a globe shape.
No matter which side of earth you are on, it will seem flat and level.
The Chinese point "up" in the direction we point to as "down".

The scriptures are written from a human perspective and God is considered "up"
and Hell is considered "Down" or connected with the earth.
Hell is our material existence, and Heaven is our Spiritual existence...which is closer to the wind.

But the earth is 99.98 percent level and flat. A very slight curve results in a globe shape.

Thanks for the reply guys, I value your opinions, have you guys read the three books of Enoch Where Enoch the 7th after Adam was giving aglimp's of all this but the last 2 copies of Enoch was not put into the Canon/bible but only one Ethiopia, what are your thoughts on this and why was it kept out for the rest of the world.

The four corners of the earth isn't God stating the earth is flat its meaning is the whole world in one context and a quadrant in another context.

And He will lift up a standard for the nations And assemble the banished ones of Israel, And will gather the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree.

Isaiah 40:22 speaks of a round earth.
You don't have to go against everything to believe in a flat earth because you are trying to be faithful to the Bible. The Bible does not teach a particular geography. It uses common language much like we use common language to describe what we see. But when we get up high in a plane on a transatlantic flight, or actually up in space, we see it differently. From the moon, the earth is clearly a sphere. And watch it long enough from that vantage point and it clearly rotates. You do not need to throw out science as if the Bible demands you do so. That would be a false demand, a demand of some men who have lost their minds and feel the need to have you join them in their delusion.

Here is my question: why do you look for natural truth in a book that is meant to give us spiritual truths? The bible is not a science book. God gave us eyes, ears, mouths, hands, brain and whatnot to perceive the world and the command the subdue it (Genesis 1:28). We have the capability to observe and study nature ourselves. What we can not is perceive God and spiritual matters, which is why God granted us revelations of things He deemed necessary for us to know.

Light travels very far and this we are able to see very far. If the earth was flat, you wouldn't be able to see ships disappearing over the horizon.

Put it this way. If we've known the Earth has been flat for 2500 years as someone stated, we've done a really poor job of measuring the curvature.

The only proof of curvature we have are some fake photos from NASA which are demonstrably false, and all the text books parroting what "we've known for so long", without real proof.

Yes my friend it is flat , you can just laugh watching this video which shows astronauts can't even agree if they saw stars or not

If you read Genesis , you can clearly see God made TWO great light , Sun and Moon , not trillion suns and trillion moons in trillion galaxies . Also he made DOME over earth .
Earth could have very little curve but it is indeed in circle shape and flat overall .

Globe believer will not take the evidence even tho you try to show them so don't bother about them , most of them are suffering of beating wife syndrome . It's when wife who is beaten by husband is lying to herself that her husband loves her and won't divorce him because of children and because of her imaginary perfect family live she was always dreaming of , if she had divorced her husband she would completly ruin her dreams of having nice family so she would rather pretend nothing is happening and would put on black sunglasses so other people don't see her beaten face rather than telling truth and seeking help from police and friends .

Likewise globe believers invested 12-15 years of study in schools and thier degrees , not only the time invested but 70% of graduates are in debt . They would not be able to look in thier own face in mirror when they saw that they have been lied by schools for such long time and are deep in debt because they were scammed , they would rather keep believing lie than get the truth because they would become suicidal and depressed . Some go to the extreme that they believe there is car in space right now :haha: . It's like 260 celcius and the tired did not explode not talking of other things but yea fools will be fools .

That's why you can see evidence or do tests yourself but even if you show the results to globe believer they will refute it and call you uneducated fool invoking some magic force of gravity which is clearly not working due to lack of 98% of energy if it even existed .
