A breath of fresh air. Every Western nation needs a Donald Trump, who refuses to play the globalist-elitist-leftist game of destroying his own country. France almost got Le Pen, and the Netherlands almost got Geert Wilders. And Canada ended up with Trudeau, of all people.

Count Canada lucky.

According to the constitution of the United States, international treaties are made by the president (with advice from the senate).

When international agreements are cancelled unilaterally it calls the integrity of the nation itself into question. I recall that Oklahoma and the Dakotas were given to the Indian nations as their homeland forever.

And according to the United States Constitution, Article VI: "all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land."

So much for the hundreds of legal treaties the U.S. government signed with the tribal nations.

Executive orders are a terrible way to do things. In Obama’s defense however, the rampant obstructionism by the GOP left him with little choice unless he wanted to spend 8 years doing nothing.

Um, his party had both chambers of Congress for two years!

If someone says "Obama's legacy deserves to be destroyed because he was an Emperor and enacted legislation by fiat through Executive Orders" and they don't say the EXACT SAME THING ABOUT ALL OTHER PRESIDENTS WHO HAVE USED EO'S then it shows that the use of Executive orders was not the reason they disagree with his legacy.

Especially given the fact he used them at a lower rate than any president since Cleveland. Why isn't there a breathless article ranting about how the Harrison or Wilson legacy deserves to be destroyed?

I mean, I know why. But how long do we have to pretend it isn't about that?

I think that if number of EO's were actually the reason to object to a presidency the (black) president with the fewest of them in recent memory wouldn't be the target of an article attacking his.

Why no articles about having to destroy the Bush legacy for the same reason? Probably because it isn't a reason but just an excuse to bash Obama again.

That's quite a racist thing to say ...

I don't see why. I'm pointing out a fact which does distinguish him from other presidents and which might be a reason why he is being attacked, since the facts show there's no reason to do so for the reasons claimed in the article in the OP. Maybe others could come up with other reasons why he was singled out.

Ummm, you do recall that Trump actually felt LePen was strongest on borders, right? He implied support for Le Pen and while not a full-on endorsement, well, there's a reason why Trump and LePen would have common cause....

I had to stop arguing with GOP types about Obama. The sad truth is that they hate Obama so much that it simply does not matter what Obama did. Whatever he did, it needed to be opposed. In fact, even when Obama tried to pass things the GOP agreed with during Bush or Clinton they opposed Obama simply because Obama proposed it.

During Obama's term, we witnessed an unprecedented level of obstructionism from the GOP.

Was it due to Racism?

I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. All I know is that the reason for the GOP's pathological hatred of Obama is not logical given what Bush II, Clinton, Bush, and Reagan have done. Obama is well within "the norm" of presidential behavior and actions (adjusting for changing times and technology). There is plenty that I hate that Obama did, however, when I look at how he conducted himself as a whole and how he interacted with other States, he was a pretty good President, definitely better than Bush II and in the same League as Clinton and Reagan.

However, the GOP's support of Trump is something that I cannot fathom. To think, the party of Reagan actually is on record arguing that Russia is a great ally of the US while simultaneously trying to block an investigation into whether or not there was undue influence on the American System of Government by the Russians...

Ultimately I blame Conservative Talk Radio.

Back in the 90s I shared an office with 2 office mates. We each took turns listening to the radio in 1-hour increments. I had a co-worker who loved Rush Limbaugh and for 1 hour per day, I listened to Rush Limbaugh. The amount and degree of brain washing that Alt-Right talk radio does day in and day out was/is frightening. Everyday he'd make an outlandish claim, get great ratings, and then the next day he'd outdo what he did the day before. Rinse and repeat this formula over decades and it is no wonder why the GOP sees Democrats as Godless-Soulless-Communist-Kitten-killers that want to eat your children

I mean this with all sincerity. If I were the leader of ISIS, I'd make sure no one messed with the US. You see, the only time the US can unite is when we have an external enemy. Otherwise, we tear ourselves to pieces. This fight between the Dems and the GOP is doing more harm to the country than ISIS every could.

Seriously?

The agenda put out 24 hours a day, every day, by CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, The Washington Post and New York Times ... is undermined by one single loud-mouth who talks for less than three hours a day?

How weak is that agenda that it can be undermined by one man whose listening audience, according to the most optimistic projections, is still less than 10% of the country's population?

What if you found out tomorrow that the Democrat party has been lying to you for years?

How would you react?

And as well, the Body of Christ in the US.

If anyone wanted to know why the US isn't mentioned in Revelation...we are seeing why right now.
