... edited [you had been shown, and it was enough] ...For example, I asked one of the main sda protaginists here if they refused to invite friends and family home for a meal, but rather the lame, poor blind and beggars so they may receive their reward in heaven.
I got no response
Back to Colossians 2 KJB, we read:
Colossians 2:1 KJB - For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;Further we read in Colossians:
Colossians 4:13 KJB - For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
Colossians 4:15 KJB - Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
Colossians 4:16 KJB - And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
And if there is any help in the notations:
1 Timothy 6:20 KJB - O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
1 Timothy 6:21 KJB - Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
[The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.]
Therefore, there is a connection to "Laodicea" of Revelation 3:14-22 KJB:
Revelation 3:14 KJB - And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
[because they did not head the warning to Timothy to avoid the "oppositions of science falsely so called" [they love "Sci-Fi" rather than the True JEHOVAH Elohiym, and because they loved to believe a lie, they will receive the strong delusion [2 Thessalonians 2:11 KJB], they believe in 'evolution', in the physical and spiritual - Creation or Evolution, Which? ]Revelation 3:15 KJB - I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Revelation 3:16 KJB - So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Revelation 3:17 KJB - Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Many church members are even now in this condition that Paul describes, before their surrender:Revelation 3:18 KJB - I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Their old man of sin still clings to them, a rotting stinking unclean corpse, and they hold "conversation" [Ephesians 4:22 KJB] with their old man of sin, which is spiritual necromancy, see here - [Link, beware its a "Congregational Zone, SDA members"]
Romans 7:24 KJB - O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Revelation 3:19 KJB - As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Revelation 3:20 KJB - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Revelation 3:21 KJB - To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Revelation 3:22 KJB - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
You are obviously someone who follows after the Holy Spirit rather than the written code(rom 7:6) But not all do, as I imagine you will soon see.Colossians 2:14-17,
14, Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15, And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath(s): 17, which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Key phrases in this group of scripture passages are the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, and Let no man therefore judge you. This applies to those who are in Christ, specifically. Yahweh will not have them in judgment, Christ who we come to be in bore all that, so we should not hold each other in any judgment. And justice demanded by the law is what Christ bore, so we in him are not subject to that justice. Our freedom from that is for freely turning from life of sin, to not go on sinning as we had, but seek to live according to God's will for us, more and more, with God's help, with God's Spirit. Yahweh's perfect will for us will matter in that.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been savedHi FredVB, AMEN, nice to meed you and thanks for sharing.
SIN is indeed breaking God's Commandments and Salvation is from SIN not in SIN like some believe.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved
Eph2:5
Like Paul you mean
Well we have already irrefutably established you do not understand the message in the letter you quote,Absolutely. Those who continue in SIN are still dead in SIN.
ROMANS 6:1-2 [2], What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?[2], God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in it?
Many do not know what GRACE is for..
ROMANS 1:5 [5], By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for OBEDIENCE to the faith among all nations, for his name:
ROAMNS 16:26[26], But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
ROMANS 6:17-18 [17], But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. [18], Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.
ROMANS 3:31 [31], Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Grace without obedience is not God's GRACE. It seems God's WORD disagrees with you again.
................
SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)
Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.
................
God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)
There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?
In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).
Well we have already irrefutably established you do not understand the message in the letter you quote,
God's words plainly states the believer is made alive with Christ/saved, even when they are dead in transgression/sin
Of course, if you want to refuse to accept what God's word plainly states you are entitled to do so I guess-for now
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been savedDo you didn't you have only provided your own words over God's WORD.
I quoted God's word to you. The believer is made alive with Christ even when they are dead in transgression. If you want to try and make scripture contradict scripture, find someone else to aid youDisagree? Prove the posts and scriptures posted to you are not correct? If you cannot maybe you can pray about it more at home.
