This is an interesting word.Reve 1:19
Write! [therefore] which things thou saw, and which things are being, and which things are about to be becoming after these.
Tho it is used 709 times in the NT, I would like to look at where the exact same form of the word is used elsewhere.
I found it is used only 9 times....3 times in Luke 21, 4 times in Acts, 1 Corin 1:20, and 1 time in Reve.
Reve 1:19 ...........and which things are about to be becoming/ginesqai<1096> after these.
Luke 21 is part of the Olivet Discourse and parousia of Jesus concerning the coming destruction of Jerusalem in 70ad.
7 “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen?
And what will be the sign that they are about to be becoming/ginesqai<1096>?”
28 When these things begin to happen/ginesqai<1096>,
stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
36 So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is being about to be becoming/ginesqai<1096>
and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Strong's Concordance with Hebrew and Greek Lexicon

G1096 matches the Greek γίνομαι (ginomai),which occurs 709 times in 636 verses
The Hebrew equivalent word is "hayah #1961"
Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
H1961 matches the Hebrew הָיָה (hayah), which occurs 76 times in 72 verses
H1961 hayah haw-yaw a primitive root (Compare 1933); to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary):
It is used in the great "I AM who I AM" verse of Exodus 3:14 when the LORD sent Moses to Pharaoh. The same great I AM that is in Revelation........
Exodus 3:
12 And He is saying: "That I Shall Be/I AM/hayah<01961> with thee,...........
13 ........................
And they have said to me, 'What Name of Him'? What shall I say to them"?
14 And 'Elohiym is saying to Mosheh, "I-shall-be/I AM/hayah<01961> who I-shall-be/I AM/hayah<01961>
and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I shall be/I AM/hayah01961 has sent me to you.’”
The Hebrew word "YAH" 03050 is also in it.
Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
3050 Yahh yaw contraction for 3068, and meaning the same; Jah, the sacred name:--Jah, the Lord, most vehement. Compare names in "-iah," "- jah
It is used in the song of Moses after the Israelites cross the Red Sea
Exodus 15:1 Then sang Mosheh and the sons of Yisra'el this song unto YHWH, and they spake saying,--"I will sing to YHWH for He is exalted exalted,--The horse and his rider hath He cast into the Sea.
2 My might and melody is Yah, and He became mine salvation/y@shuw'ah.--This is my 'El and I will glorify Him, 'Elohiym of my father and I will set Him on high". '
Which is also sung in Revelation
Revelation 15:3 and They are singing the Song of-Moses, the bond-servant of the God, and the song of the Lamb-kin, saying,
