ALL OF Calvin's T.U.L.I.P. IS FALSE DOCTRINE!
Tulip was a response and reproving of the papist Arminian 5 articles of remonstrance. Calvin had nothing to do with it. Although he would agree with it. To disagree with tulip gives evidence and bears the corrupt fruit of false professors who deny the gospel of grace in Christ

Eternal Security or Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) can easily be disproved by pointing out the surrounding context of a verse that supposedly proves it. For there hasn't been a verse (that supposedly proves Eternal Security) that I was not able to refute using Scripture.

In fact, I am not sure how a person can read the Bible and ignore all the verses that refute the unbiblical teaching of Eternal Security. For when a person reads their Bible they will see a refutation of Eternal Security in the majority of the New Testament (and in some cases, depending on the book, they will see a refutation of Eternal Security on almost every page). Therefore, I beg everyone here (who believes in Eternal Security and who has an open heart to receive the seed of God's Word into their heart) to re-examine what they believe and look at the following verses by way of prayer. For if I am wrong, I have nothing to lose (because I do not believe in "Man Directed Works Alone Salvationism"; I believe in "Relationship-ism with God That Produces the Fruits of the Lord Within A Person's Life"). But if the Eternal Security Proponent is wrong, they have everything to lose. Anyways, here is a...

Hello Jason,

It is true all men think is futile. Jesus said that it is they (the scriptures) which testify of Him. God has revealed the Truth to us through His Word, the Holy Bible. Some read it without the Holy Spirit so they can't comprehend it. So since they can't comprehend it by the Spirit, they have to make it about something else and they get stuck in either legalism or license or some other thing.

May God bless you dear brother.

Hello everyone,

I am interested in getting people's opinion on something. After I became a born again Christian I was surprised to discover how spread the doctrine of "Once Saved Always Saved" is. From my reading of the Bible, I would have never really got the impression that we can never lose our salvation. In fact, I was convinced that to be saved we have to keep our faith until the end.

Because of many conversations with other believers, I have made it my objective to discover the truth so I gathered all scriptures used for and against this doctrine and put them on my website at this link: Once Saved Always Saved Verses

This reinforced my position that this doctrine is not true. But I am interested in knowing the opinion of others on this matter. I know it is much to read but just looking at the page and comparing the number of scriptures for each side is already surprising.

Is it me or the number of scriptures telling us that we have to endure until the end to be saved much more than the other side? I also feel the people who believe in Once Saved Always Saved always use the same verses and push into them things they don't really say. While the scriptures against it are much more obvious and straight-forward.

I am interested to know if there is something I am missing.

Thank you all. Any opinion is appreciated.

No your not missing anything.

Jesus plainly taught us if one of His sheep, who wanders away from the Shepherd and "those who need no repentance" and becomes lost, have returned to being a sinner in need of repentance.

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-7

  • there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Likewise the prodigal son who leaves his father, and becomes lost; dead to the father.

It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’” Luke 15:32

  • for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.

Lost = A sinner in need of repentance; spiritually dead to God

Found = Reconciled to God; Spiritually alive

Jesus' little brother says it this way -

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. James 5:19-21

Same language as Jesus -

The brother who wanders from the truth, has returned to being a sinner, in need of repentance.

Someone must go and turn this wayward brother back, so he will not be lost in eternal death.

  • he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death

Hello Jason,

So since they can't comprehend it by the Spirit, they have to make it about something else and they get stuck in either legalism or license or some other thing.

Yeah, my heart grieves for those who are on each of the opposite extreme sides of the spectrum.

The Legalism crowd I see today is not as great in numbers as the License crowd. I define the Legalism crowd as those who make laws for God that are no longer binding and or laws of God that do not exist. I do believe that disobeying God's laws (within the New Testament) can lead to spiritual death. But it is not about just keeping a set of rules alone (of course). We are ultimately saved by God's grace and mercy with His death and resurrection when we asked Jesus to forgive us of our sin. But obedience to God's laws in the New Testament should naturally follow after a person receives Christ (because the Lord lives inside a person).

Forms of Legalism today can be seen in those who say you need to be baptized in order to be saved, or you need to observe the Saturday Sabbath to be saved, and or you need to go back and obey all of the ceremonial rules within the Old Testament Law to be saved, etc.

You said:
May God bless you dear brother.

May God bless you even more, my brother.

Thank you.
It is an encouragement to see a fellow brother believe in a similar way as me.

Note: I just need to confirm. Do you believe in the Trinity? I believe in the Trinity. I believe the Lord our God is one God and yet He also exists as three distinct persons (Such as the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost).

I believe the Word (Jesus) was made flesh.
I believe the Living Word (Who has always existed as God) took on a flesh and blood human body through the virgin Mary.

In Eternal Security or OSAS (Once Saved Always Saved), the talk of holiness and conforming to Christ is an illusion because they also say you can sin on occasion and yet you are still saved. This is what the two fold message of Eternal Security is all about.

However, we know that the general message of OSAS in many cases tends to lead people into being enslaved to their sin and not being set free from it. How so? Just check out these testimonies below.

That’s factual history. I’m sure that statement sounds good to the pretentious hypocrites who would have done what Rome was doing during that time of great inquisition and suppression of the truth. Or at least would have approved of it

Your handy-dandy long list of verses against OSAS
If there’s no belief in the security or perseverance of the elect by faith, then there is NO BELIEF IN THE GOSPEL. There is no belief that eternal life rest in Christ alone.. works based salvation is promoted by those who are arrogant enough to believe that their works play any part in their salvation. They lack repentance and humility. God gets all the glory in the elects salvation in Christ. From start to finish. All you can do is elevate man and his so called good works in his salvation. Rather than giving Christ all the glory and His merits as the only basis for justification. Judaizers is what these folk are!

If there’s no belief in the security or perseverance of the elect by faith, then there is NO BELIEF IN THE GOSPEL.

The Gospel:

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
(1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Fully preaching the gospel of Christ:

18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? (Romans 6:1-2).

After We are Saved by God's Grace,
God’s Works (Done Through Us) Are Also Required As a Part of the Salvation Process:

(Here are a List of Verses):

“Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only." (James 2:24).
"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” (James 2:17-18).
"They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." (Titus 1:16).
"And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him." (Hebrews 5:9).
"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14).
"If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha." (1 Corinthians 16:22).
"If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15).
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8).
"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls." (James 1:21).
"But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God." (Romans 2:8-11).
"For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." (John 3:20).
“For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” (Romans 11:21-22).
"...but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments." (Matthew 19:17).
“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12).
“...And having become servants of God, ye have your fruit unto holiness and the end, everlasting life.” (Romans 6:22).
“In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.” (1 John 3:10).

They lack repentance

Jesus said in Matthew 12:41 that the Ninevites will rise up in Judgment against this generation because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. If you were to turn to Jonah chapter 3, you would be able to see in Jonah 3:6-10 that the King of the Ninevites had told his people to:

(a) Cry out to God (i.e. Repentance) (See Jonah 3:8).
(b) Turn from their sins or evil ways (i.e. The Natural Fruits of Repentance).

You said:
...and humility.

"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, "(1 Timothy 6:3-4).

"...God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." (James 4:6).

You said:

Yes, God does get all the glory when He saves us both in Justification and in Sanctification when we surrender to God and allow His good works to flow through our life. For it is God who ultimately does the good work within us (See Philippians 2:13).

I don't believe in Man Directed Works Alone Salvationism. I believe in obeying God's commands within the New Testament. How can it be wrong to (in part) promote obedience to God's commands as a part of being right with God? Did not Jesus say if you will enter into life, keep the commandments? (Matthew 19:17).

Yes, we are saved by God's grace, but grace is not a license for immorality (See Jude 1:4) (NIV).

How does God get the glory if man sins or becomes unfruitful in this life with the thinking he is saved? How does God get the glory if He saves some and not others (even when He had the power to save those others the same way)?

How would you feel if you were lost at sea with 4 other people and the coast guard saved the other 4 people but not you? I imagine you would be pretty upset and you would think the coast guard was wrong for not saving you (when he had the power to clearly do so).

You said:

No different than your mother Rome, compounding justification and sanctification. It is why you see your works in the process of salvation. If election is denied, then grace is denied in salvation. If one can lose eternal life in Christ, then the gospel has no effect. Therefore the gospel is denied by these “Judaizers”. If one doesn’t believe God is Sovereign over all creation, including the salvation and damnation of sinners, then this person HAS NOT been taught by the Spirit of God. Instead of leading others to fully surrender in faith to Christ and His merits alone for salvation, you teach eternal life and the assurance of it, isn’t in Christ. But those who seek to be delivered from sin and agonize over their wretched sinful self while pleading to be found in Christ’s righteousness, these are the ones who have been GRANTED repentance and are among the elect of God

But I am not Roman Catholic.
I just believe what the Bible says.

Anyways, please feel free to explain those verses I posted that show that God works done through the believer is a part of the salvation process (After being saved by God's grace).

Sure you are you just don’t know it. And Rome says the same thing “I just believe what the Bible says”. The elect were saved and chosen by God in Christ UNTO GOOD WORKS.. created in Christ and ordained for such. It is the result of being saved. The fruit that it bears.

May God bless you, brother.

It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit leads us into the truth.

I have been fighting this deception doctrine for years, and using all the same scriptures and arguments as these folks, and have never even heard of these people.

Awesome.

It’s so true what the Bible teaches us about all saying and teaching the same thing, so we will not be divided.

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10

Heresy is any teaching that divides the body of Christ into sections or sects, as the are called.

Today they are called denominations, which are based on chosen beliefs, and is another meaning of heresy.

A belief that a person chooses.

We are to learn and grow and be taught from the scriptures, so as to renew our mind to the truth of what the inspired word of God teaches.

We don’t get to choose the parts we like, and disregard the other parts.

Those who promote these heresies will not inherit the kingdom of God.
