Genesis 6:1-4 and Jude 6&7 what do these passages mean? Why should we care?

How do you conclude this.

I see man being made two different ways.

Genesis 2:7 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul

Genesis 1:27 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Why do you assume the Genesis 2 account is the one all humans are made from. Should I just throw the Genesis one account away then? Does it not have validity too.

One made from the dirt and one made from the image of God. Does this make the image of God as dirt?

I mean really why did you choose that one over the other one?

I showed you their names. (Genesis 4)
How did the woman get created ?
Simple God created Adam from the dust of the earth and made him in the image of himself
After Adam was created God took a rib from Adam and created the woman-

Every man that is called man came through Adam
I explained to you already that the man that was created that was given the tree that produced seed for man to eat and the tree of knowledge and good and evil God was speaking to the very same exact Adam that he created.
Then after the Garden was finished being prepared for him , God then placed Adam into the Garden he prepared for him

Other NT scriptures have been given that back this up with full support

This is how God made woman.

Genesis 2:21

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

The difference between me and you is that I back with Biblical context. For example.

Show me how this is the case with scripture.

Every man that is called man came through Adam

LOL Seriously because I did not speak of Adam falling into a deep sleep you won't accept the fact I gave you the correct answer - This is so FUNDAMENTALLY BASIC I figured you would know what I was speaking of

When you walk down the street do you always say out loud left foot forward then right foot left foot then right foot - left foot then right foot
or maybe you prefer to say right foot forward then left foot - right foot forward then left foot :)

As usual I see you failed to answer the question and as usual try to dance around it with nonsense. Can you please add some degree of substance to this thread and answer the question posed with scripture.

I did prove.
You prove you have an opinion and nothing more than that
Though I prove that you make errors
There are those without sin after Adams transgression however they are still accountable.
Roman 3:23
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

This not only prove your error that there are any without sin - it proves that you make statements that are in total opposition to what the bible scriptures say in simple straight forward fashion I have asked you to clarify in specific terms several times and you chose not to do so - so I'm not gonna go the extra mile for you when you won't do something as simple as being specific when asked to do so

Funny how you don't attached the scripture I associated with that quote.

Romans 5: (12-19) 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Please show me how to reconcile this contraction.

How can it be that you do not understand that is completely false ?

There has never ever been any human without sin in all of human existence!
Never! which is why the scripture says:
There are those without sin after Adams transgression however they are still accountable.
Roman 3:23
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Notice the part that says " ALL have sinned " that means that all is all
Jesus never implied that there are any people that are without sin as he came to die for all mankind to pay the price of "the wages of sin is death"

You will not find any scripture at all in the entire bible that says anyone is without sin

Please show me how to reconcile this contraction.
Roman5
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law. 14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

The point of the scripture is to say that sin existed from Adam but it was not violating a law give from Moses through God because the law was not yet given/written in the time of Adam - Nevertheless there was sin in all mankind as a direct result that Adam sinned against God through disobeying Gods command to not eat of the fruit God told him not to eat

So it comes down to why did you try to attempt to use the scripture in the first place for if you really understood what is spoke of then you would not have quoted it?

It could mean that but doesn't have to. The following is said of many others as well. To be consistent, one would need to interpret all of these in like manner.

Genesis 5:7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
Genesis 5:10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
Genesis 5:13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
Genesis 5:16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
Genesis 5:19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Genesis 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Genesis 5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
Genesis 5:30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
------>Genesis 5:32
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: And Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Very slow in reproduction these Adamite descendants of Genesis 5..... do you suppose that they had only daughters before the FIRST MALE is listed ?

Genesis 5

6 And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begat Enosh: 7 and Seth lived after he begat Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters: 8 and all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 And Enosh lived ninety years, and begat Kenan.

10 and Enosh lived after he begat Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters: 11 and all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 And Kenan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalalel: 13 and Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters: 14 and all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

------
Genesis 5:32
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: And Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

You all are reaching, in error. Adam according to scripture was created Son of God. He sinned, and became just a man with the sin nature. Every other man thereafter was born/begotten in Adams image, not God's. Every man after Adam had the sin nature and passed it along to all men. The women could not pass on the sin nature. Look, I am a Registered Nurse and my career(retired) is in human reproduction. You have heard about hemophilia, that it is passed from the mother to her sons but not to her daughters. Well, look at the sin nature with this optic. Our Father preserved the seed of the woman so the sin nature would not pass through her to the Messiah. Lord Jesus was begotten( not created) of God into the woman the virgin Mary. Seth and all of his children were sons of man, not sons of God. Noah and his sons were sons of man, not sons of God. Seth was begotten of Adam after his own image, not after the image of God.
Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

Now you can call Seth a son of God if you like, that is on you. But scripture shows that Seth and all of his sons are sons of man. I can't help you get it.God did not create other men as sons of God, you all need to stop that lie. Death came through Adam after he sinned. Our Father preserved Adam's seed through Noah and his sons on the ark.

Ask yourself, why didn't our Father just kill satan and the angels that sinned? Why imprison them instead? I will tell you. Because they are eternal beings , they do not die as we understand dying. They are destined to the lake of fire.

God didn't create angels that cease to exist, they are eternal beings, right ?
Adam was created flesh but with spirit eternal and called son of God, he fellowshipped sinless with God, he sinned and lost that status until Jesus redeemed him as son of God adopted in like us all .. There is only one begotten of God in both flesh and Spirit, only one who can redeem and only one who can create .. Jesus is flesh/man but also man/God . He is still and ever will be flesh/God, remember he ate fish and Thomas examined his new glorified body, both son of man and Son of God . Fallen angels can influence, oppress or possess but they can not create or procreate .. Can angels be killed ? God does not lie .. We will be sons/daughters/mankind resurrected with transformed bodies like Jesus ..

Fallen angels can influence, oppress or possess but they can not create or procreate ..
The error here is that angels are created by God with a body of their own as scriptures previously have been shown - A being with a body of their own regardless if that being is a created angel or human cannot posses or inhabit another person's body - we do not see in any scripture that Michael or Gabriel or any other angel created by God has ever inhabited another person. As in Mark5 when Jesus cast out the demons/unclean spirits they are called Legion for they are many - you can't have 2000 angels possessing one human person because they were not angels - they were not fallen angels -they are the result of the pro creation of fallen angels

The notion that fallen angels cannot procreate is a fable that is not supported by scripture that got started by people who do not teach accurately making the assumption that angels cannot procreate based upon Jesus saying the angels in heaven do not marry.
Bible principles are:
1. male to male unions are an abomination unto God and will not be tolerated - if it happened in heaven God would immediately cast them into the abyss

2. there are no female angels anywhere for angels to procreate with - angels have no available vessel in heaven to reproduce with

3. to have marital relations without being married is a sin that would result in being cast out of heaven even if there were female angels

4. Jesus said that angels in heaven do not marry because there is no reason to do so and he did not ever say angels are not capable of procreation - just that they don't marry - for obvious reasons there are no female angels to marry

5. God created every type of being he created with the ability to procreate - fish , animals ,insects etc

6. angels in heaven choose to abide by Gods rules - if they don't they cannot remain in heaven -- just as the saying goes when a court judge says they will set forth an example of the repercussions of breaking the law; they hand down a severe prison sentence for those who violate a law---
just as the same when your employer says no orgies allowed on company property -if you engage in that activity you will be banned from working at that employer ;)

Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Sons of God in Genesis 6 are not human men !

Agreed!

Are you contradicting yourself here? Adam was a son of God because he was created by God. He did not become one by being redeemed.

No man is called a son of God because of the new birth until after the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. While there were many Old Testament saints that loved and served God none were born again as believers in Christ are since the resurrection.

There is only one begotten of God in both flesh and Spirit, only one who can redeem and only one who can create .. Jesus is flesh/man but also man/God . He is still and ever will be flesh/God, remember he ate fish and Thomas examined his new glorified body, both son of man and Son of God .

1 Corinthians 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel

Fallen angels can influence, oppress or possess but they can not create or procreate ..

Speculation! Evil spirits cast out by Jesus and believers are not fallen angels!

Can angels be killed ?

No.

God does not lie ..

Amen!

We will be sons/daughters/mankind resurrected with transformed bodies like Jesus ..

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

:) I agree with all of this brother. What I do not agree with is this.
Fallen angels can influence, oppress or possess but they can not create or procreate ..
Fallen angels do not possess. And according to the scriptures they did reproduce with human women.
Can angels be killed ?
We do not see Angels killed in scripture.
God does not lie .. We will be sons/daughters/mankind resurrected with transformed bodies like Jesus ..
I believe this to be true.

Romans 3: (9-23)

9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Jews and Gentiles)

11 There is none that understandeth, (Jews and Gentiles) there is none (Jews and Gentiles) that seeketh after God.

12 They (Jews and Gentiles) are all gone out of the way, they (Jews and Gentiles)

are together become unprofitable; there is none (Jews and Gentiles) that doeth good, no, not one. (Jews and Gentiles)

13 Their (Jews and Gentiles) throat is an open sepulchre; with their (Jews and Gentiles) tongues they (Jews and Gentiles) have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their (Jews and Gentiles) lips:

14 Whose (Jews and Gentiles) mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

15 Their (Jews and Gentiles) feet are swift to shed blood:

16 Destruction and misery are in their (Jews and Gentiles) ways:

17 And the way of peace have they (Jews and Gentiles) not known:

18 There is no fear of God before their (Jews and Gentiles) eyes.

19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: (Jews) that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: (Jews and Gentiles) for there is no difference: (Jews and Gentiles)

23 For all have sinned (Jews and Gentiles), and come short of the glory of God;

All in this context is not referring to all humanity but the Jews and Gentiles in particular. The Jew line started with Shem and the Gentile with Japheth. It is not a meant to imply all as you say it.

Also note that the line of Ham is not described as either Jew or Gentile. What line did he contribute?

So what are you trying to say??? That Ham's line was not human??? But he came from Noah! And Noah's genetics were perfect.

Who were the sons of Noah, and what happened to them and their descendants?
sons of Noah
Who were the sons of Noah, and what happened to them and their descendants?

Question: "Who were the sons of Noah, and what happened to them and their descendants?"

Answer: Noah had three sons born to him, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, before God sent a flood to destroy the world (Genesis 5:32). Whenever the names of Noah’s three sons are recorded, Shem is always mentioned first (e.g., Genesis 9:18; 10:2, 21), even though Shem was the second-born (the Bible often lists people according to prominence rather than age). Japheth was the oldest (Genesis 10:21), and Ham was the youngest (Genesis 9:24).

Japheth was born when Noah was 500 years old, and the flood came 100 years later (Genesis 7:6–7). Since Shem was 100 two years after the flood (Genesis 11:10), he must have been born when Noah was 502 years old. There is no record of when Ham was born other than the fact that he was born sometime after Shem (Genesis 9:24).

“Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber” (Genesis 10:21), and this is important because the word Eber is the origin of the Hebrew word for “Hebrew.” The word Shem means “name,” which implies that Noah expected this son’s name to become great. He was right—the modern words Semitic and Semite are derived from Shem’s name. The Bible records that Shem had five sons: Elam, Ashur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram (Genesis 10:22). Shem lived to be 600 years of age (Genesis 11:10–11) and became the ancestor of the Semitic peoples (Genesis 10:1, 21–31). Abraham, a descendant of Shem, is the first person in the Bible who is referred to as a “Hebrew” (Genesis 14:13).

Noah blessed Shem above his brothers (Genesis 9:26–27), and it was through Shem that the promised seed destined to crush Satan came (Genesis 3:15). That seed is traced back to Adam’s son Seth (Genesis 5:1–32), through Shem, and on to Abraham, Judah, and David, leading all the way to Christ (Luke 3:36).

Shem’s son Elam was the father of the Elamites, who later settled east of Mesopotamia. Shem’s son Ashur, whose name is related to the word Assyria, is most likely is the father of those who settled the ancient region of Assyria (Genesis 2:14). Arphaxad is thought by many scholars to be a compound form of the Hebrew word for “Chaldea,” which was a region in southern Mesopotamia (Genesis 11:10–13). It was through Arphaxad that Eber came. Scholars believe that the descendants of Shem’s son Lud became known as the Lydians of Asia Minor. And Aram is identified by Bible scholars with the area northeast of the Promised Land, known today as Syria (cf. 2 Kings 16:6). The sons of Aram are listed in Genesis 10:23. Of Aram’s sons, Uz is later referred to in the book of Job (Job 1:1).

Noah’s firstborn son, Japheth, is listed as the father of Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras (Genesis 10:2). Their descendants became the people who lived to the north and west of Israel and, after Babel, spoke what today are classified as Indo-European languages.

In blessing his son Japheth, Noah said, “May God extend Japheth’s territory; / may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, / and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth” (Genesis 9:27). There are two schools of thought regarding what this prophecy about Japheth means.

Some scholars are of the opinion that the enlargement of Japheth’s territory refers to a great numerical increase of his descendants. The comment “may Japheth live in the tents of Shem” means that Japheth will share in the blessings of Shem. According to this view, there was to be a time when God worked primarily with Shem (the people of Israel), but later Japheth would be brought into connection with the faith of Israel to share Israel’s blessings. A similar prophecy is evident in the Abrahamic Covenant, when God promises to bless all nations through Abraham’s seed (Genesis 12:3). The fulfillment is found in Christ and in the gospel coming to the Gentiles at the inception of the church (Acts 15:7; Romans 15:16; Galatians 2:2). Other scholars are of the opinion that the extension of Japheth’s territory refers to territorial enlargement, and living “in the tents of Shem” is the conquest of the Semites’ territory by Japhethites. According to this view, the fulfillment was the Greek and Roman conquests of Israel.

Ham, the youngest of the Noah’s three sons, had four sons: Cush, Mizraim (Hebrew for “Egypt”), Put, and Canaan (Genesis 10:6; 1 Chronicles 1:8). Egypt was later called the “land of Ham” (Psalm 78:51; 105:23; 106:22). The Hamitic peoples are shown in Genesis 10:6–20 as becoming a godless and worldly power. It was the land of Israel that was assigned to Ham’s son, Canaan, and for centuries it was under the control of the Egyptians. Ham is the father of the Arabians, Canaanites, and Africans, including the Egyptians. Due to Ham’s sin against his father (Genesis 9:20–25), Noah cursed Canaan, saying Canaan would be a servant to Shem (Genesis 9:26). This was fulfilled centuries later when the Israelites entered the land of Canaan and subdued the inhabitants of that land (1 Kings 9:20–21).
