This soul showed a great resistance to ever submit to God. Its a tragedy to hear that his window of mercy has now come to an end.
Well I sense that if he lived to be a hundred he still wouldve fought against his maker.

Sad day though :(

Your post reminds me of the revelations of Divine Mercy. There is a window, and there is also Hell. Both exist.

My uncle when he was 7 caught polio he nearly died he had to spend over a year on a "iron lung" he survived but the illness left him without the use of his legs. He was very anti God rejected his existence rejected christianity he hated everything to do with God or religion and was very nasty about it. However now in his 70s he reads the bible daily and believes he is more at peace is very happy and content but the thing is he always believed in God he was just angry at him for his illness.

The way stephen hawking spoke about God maybe he too was angry at him... let us hope he found mercy

Make no mistake, Hawking was a big sinner and so am I. We both deserve Gehenna if we stand on our own. Im just afraid he met Christ without his friendship. Christ redeems us cause no man is better than another. Please Im not taking moral or spiritual highground over his poor soul.

Let that be assured I pray for his salvation, but still Im mourning his life.

I hope u dont think i was accusing you of taking a moral or spiritual high ground thats not the case at all i just wanted share some insight of how hawkings illness may have contributed to his attitude towards God i know he did a lot of damage to the faith but i dont think any of us hold it against him. He was blessed with a great mind in that sense we are the ones disabled in comparison i just wish mr hawking had seen it that way.. it is so sad to think despite all his good work how much more he could have achieved if he had worked for the glory of god. He will be a sad miss in many aspects for humanity
