I don't see how "gay rights" necessarily leads to societal approval of "things like rape, child molestation, inappropriate behavior with animals, incest".
Then, no offense, you do not have "the sight" and are blind...

Ok, guess I have to do this then... (was trying to avoid this, but...)

What makes consentual sex between an over eighteen person with a under eighteen person, that has gone past "the flower of youth" wrong...?

Why makes two people dressing up like animals and having sex, wrong...?

What makes having sex with your hot stepmom, or stepsister, wrong...?

Then, once these are acceptable, take it to the next level, then the next level, so on and so forth...

And I'm not talking about biblically, cause it's pretty obvious that God is against these things, but, for modern day society, that is not enough, they need good logical reasonable reasons why these things can or should be put into law as wrong, and beyond wrong, they must be criminal...

Have any of these...?

God Bless!

Christians should love in the Lord, pray for and treat with respect as a human being every gay person.

There is no scriptural justification for condoning the life style, or gay marriage it is an abomination before the Lord.

Gay rights... The slippery slope that destroy's socieites...

Now, in my mind, it almost and maybe does seem "right" that people should be free to be gay... To be attracted sexually to the same sex, and have relationships with them, even get married if they wish...

But... That being said, I think that this is how it starts out innocently enough, but, ends up with almost any kind of sexual perversion being acceptable and not wrong, things like rape, child molestation, inappropriate behavior with animals, incest, very sick stuff, ending up being acceptable and not considered wrong at all...

This is what happened in Sodom and Gommorah...

Probably started out with gay rights, and ended up in, almost nothing sexually being "wrong"...

To avoid this, we need to and must "draw the line" now, somewhere... And not let those lines be questioned to the point of being able to find no reason for them to be considered "wrong"...

This is the fear I have that society will go down the same road that Sodom and Gommorah did... To the point of people, men and women and children being afraid to even go outside due to there being rape gangs everywhere, who are pretty indescriminate about their targets...

Sex with animals, sex with children, raping animals and children, incest, none of it really considered "wrong" anymore, this is where I fear our society is heading in the future...

We need to draw the lines now... And back these lines up with very good, very solid reasons, why it is wrong now, or else... Or else they might all become blurred in the future...

All beginning, innocently enough, with gay rights, which as I said, even seems right to me, if that's where it stops that is...

So, it is our job to stop it from going any further than that NOW, or else...

Comments...?

God Bless!
So the corollary is that a strong society is the result of denying rights to gays? Don't think so.

I didn't follow, sorry. Could you break it down for me step by step, showing what the direct result of guaranteeing civil rights for gay people is that then causes acceptance of rape?

No, a lady couldn't get herself to give a marriage license to a homosexual couple, because of what the Lord said about homosexuality, and she wound up in jail. And what is happening to people who, for the same reason, refuse to bake wedding cakes for homosexual couples?
I wonder what kind of support there would be for a Christian who refused to issue a marriage license to two people if one or both of them had been married before and initiated a no-fault divorce.

Somebody's opinion. That's what makes them wrong.

Divorce is allowed when the marriage partner has been guilty of unchaste behavior.

Civil servant is synonymous with government official. Do you want the government to discriminate?
The Constitution's right to freedom of religion applies to civil servants as well as homosexuals and lesbians.

The constitution also has a clause about the separation between Church and State. If a civil servant wants to discriminate off the clock, they are allowed to. But while on the clock, they are a part of the government, and therefore should not discriminate nor show preference for a particular religion.

The Lord said homosexuality is a sin. Why would you force a civil servant to facilitate that sin by granting them a marriage license? Don't civil servants have the same rights as homosexuals?

Because civil servants being able denying marriage licenses to homosexuals means that they have equal rights?

About how rape becomes acceptable, I don't know...? Ask Sodom and Gommorah how it happened there...?

As far as rapes go... Maybe it was illegal for a time, but just became near impossible to enforce, it being and becoming very rapant and common everywhere...

In America today, there are some areas in some larger cities, where there is "no police presence" anymore and the police just "will not go there" anymore period, and it's basically anarchy...

My friend that I mentioned told me that in Japan, in order for young boys/men to concentrate on their studies (supposedly) their own mothers will have sex with their boys, so that their sex drives and sexual desires will not interfere with their studies... Sick...

This friend of mine even makes and sells hats and shirts saying "F.C.S.B.L." (first cousins should be legal)... Sick again... And, he sells a lot of them...

How did Sodom and Gommorah get to the point that it did...?

You ever heard someone say "If there old enough to bleed, then there old enough to breed?" I have... Sick... Very sick to me...

But, it seems that, even in biblical times, once children were old enough to be "past the flower of youth", the bible calls it (hit puberty) then they were considered "adults" and could marry, have sex, and have children of their own even with someone much older and it was not considered "wrong"... I personally do not agree... The frontal lobes of the brain do not fully develop and in my opinion they cannot make a fully consentual decision until around 18 or even older... So, I think it is and would be "wrong", but, who am I, I guess...?

Think about our young men today, our teens today, who are being exposed to this... And, where it/that is going...

God Bless!
