Jesus didn't speak Greek to my knowledge of the scripture.

He is God, he can speak any language.

Where do you support your claim in post # 237 that Jesus verbally used the word "Hades"?

Jesus returns in the final judgment, eternal life, eternal kingdom, as Matthew 25:31-46 clearly teaches below.

There will be no 1000 year kingdom on this earth, with mortal humans running around, as Jesus sits on a throne watching humans dying, a false teaching.

Verses 31-32 Jesus returns with the angels, the nation's are gathered before the throne for judgment.

Verse 34 The eternal kingdom is presented to the righteous.

Verse 44 The wicked are judged to the eternal lake of fire.

Verse 46 The righteous obtain eternal life, and enter the eternal kingdom in verse 34

"Eternity Begins"!

Matthew 25:31-46KJV
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

truth7t7,

1. Matthew 25:31-46; This is the Judgement Of Nations and it will be on earth. It will be the sheep and goat nations. The sheep will be the nations that we’re good to Israel and the goats will be the ones that treated them bad.
This will after the Battle of Armageddon and then the KoH reign will be set up.

2. There is a 1000 year reign Revelation 20:1-10 and those on earth are who we will reign over as well as Christ and the nation of Israel at the head of the nations Isaiah 2:2-4;9:6-7.

3. Christ must rule and reign before sin and death are completely done away with before he gives the Kingdom back to God the Father so he can be all in all 1 Corinthians 15:24-28.
Also, there are 1000 years between the First Resurrection saints and the sinners in the Second Resurrection Revelation 20:1-6; 4-6.
Satan is also bound in the bottomless pit for 1000 years to deceive the nations no more until he is loosed for a little season Revelation 20:1-3.
Verse 7 shows he is loosedafter the 1000 years are expired.
Verse 8, he goes out deceive and verse 9 is his demise.
Verse 10 the devil that deceived them which was for the 1000 Years, is thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and false prophet are and shall be tormented Day and night.

4. The beast and false prophet were killed at the Battle of Armageddon after Christ and the saints and angels come out of Heaven in Revelation 19:11.
In verse 10 the beast are gathered to make war against us and in verse 20 the beast and false prophet are cast alive in the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

5. Satan is thrown into the bottomless pit right after the battle of Armageddon for 1000 years.
A 1000 Years after is when Satan is thrown into the lake of fire with the beast and the false prophet had been for 1000 years. So scripturally you are wrong.
The purpose of the 1000 Years is to get rid of sin and rebellion.

6. I repeat, Matthew 25 is about the Judgement of the sheep and goat nations, not the Judgement of the believers works 1 Corinthians 3:1-15 or the wicked sinners resurrection known as the Second Death in Revelation 20:12-15.
So yes, there will be a literal 1000 year rule and reign of Christ 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 so the Son can give the KoH to God the Father so God can be all in all. Jerry Kelso

truth7t7,

1. Well, I see you have no answer to Revelation 19 and 20.
Your whole explanation is conjecture and not fact.

2. You don’t understand what the purpose of the 1000 year kingdom is, though the scripture is plain that Christ must rule and reign to put down sin and rebellion and get rid of death. Read 1 Cor15:24-28.
The KoH reign is the earthly aspect that is out of harmony with the universal KoG. That is why Christ has to fulfill all the things in 1 Corinthians 15:14-28. In verse 28 the Son turns the KoH reign for a 1000 Years with the saints 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 with Revelation 20:4 saints will rule and reign for a 1000 years for that is the subject of Revelation 20. Saints will rule with a rod of iron Revelation 2:26-27 and Christ will rule and reign with a rod of iron Psalm 2:9.
The KoG will be completely restored and the New Heaven and the New Earth will be the start of the new beginning Revelation 21:1-2.
You have to understand the big picture and all the context in proper perspective and you cannot show that in your scriptures you gave. Jerry Kelso

Saints will rule with a rod of iron Revelation 2:26-27 and Christ will rule and reign with a rod of iron Psalm 2:9.

Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

The potter does not correct the flawed pots with the rod of iron.

He destroys them, by dashing them to pieces.

So the 58 scholars on the KJV translating committee were wrong, and that English bible for the past 400 years is in error?
Don't be so defensive, the KJ is a beautiful version, I use it, but it has errors. They have improved on the translation in the NKJ. These scholars didn't just remove the Old English either. Fact: Men err in translations.
Hell has been a mysterious place, there's not much known about it and maybe that's because it's pretty simple, it's a Lake of Fire. We all know what fire is. We all know what a lake is. The best we can imagine is that would be likened to a lava lake in a volcano. The bible does mention fire and brimstone, hot burning coals, smoke and describes it like a hot furnace. Part of the Church has symbolized Hell and turned it into some non -physical, spiritual location. Therefore the fire would also be spiritual and not physical. This is abstract. Is it really a non physical fire that burns forever and non-physical souls are cast into it and burn forever? When examining the nature of Hell, there are other terms used in it's description that are key: destruction, perish, eternal, everlasting, punishment, condemnation, gnashing of teeth and burning.
During Old Testament times, the concept of Hell was blurry and vague. Jesus brought more clarity to it.
As I said, the Jews used Gehenna to symbolize Hell. Some believed it was a place of temporary purification, like purgatory. This would be in the realm of Sheol, which has a much deeper meaning than the grave. It is more like a dungeon in the underworld, or netherworld. There is no doubt that beneath the earth's surface are caverns, fire and brimstone/lava. Caverns that reach to the center of the earth would be considered a bottomless pit. If an immense super volcanic eruption ever occurred, well _ you would have Hell on earth.
Scientists predict that Yellowstone will blow someday. But there also another area, the Great Syrian/African Rift which contains some 30 active and inactive volcanos. This rift is some 3,700 miles long. It goes right through the Dead Sea, where Sodom and Gomorrah existed. During Christ's time, the Dead Sea was even called the "Lake of Fire and Smoke". Other names are the "Sea of Sodom", the Devil's Sea, the Stinking Sea, etc. Jesus was tempted by Satan about 10 miles north of the Dead Sea. He also sent the herd of pigs into the Abyss along this rift area. And the Valley of Hinnom flows into this area.
God will use fire to destroy unbelievers on earth. Let me tell that if you were an astronaut looking down on this event, it would look like a lake of fire. So, dead souls being resurrected for judgment and thrown into a Lake of Fire on earth is not that illogical. It's also scriptural. I can give dozens of scriptures describing the nature of hell but I will leave you with a few that you may be familiar with:
"Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star (an angel) from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him. He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit." Rev. 9:1, 2 Digest that and imagine enough smoke to darken the skies of at least a good portion of the planet. This describes the angel opening up the earth, creating a giant fissure that releases smoke, fire and brimstone as we have experienced volcanos erupting on a much smaller scale.
"Terror and pit and snare
Confront you, O inhabitant of the earth.
Then it will be that he who flees the report of disaster will fall into the pit,
And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare;
For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.
The earth is broken asunder,
The earth is split through,
The earth is shaken violently.
The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard
And it totters like a shack,
For its transgression is heavy upon it,
And it will fall, never to rise again.
So it will happen in that day,
That the Lord will punish the host of heaven on high,
And the kings of the earth on earth.
They will be gathered together
Like prisoners in a dungeon,
And will be confined in prison
;
And after many days they will be punished." Isaiah 24:17-22 NASB

These verses support what will happen during the Great Tribulation and the concept of Hades, as a pit in the earth.

"May burning coals fall upon them;
May they be cast into the fire,
Into deep pits
from which they cannot rise." Psalm 140:10 NASB

"For a fire is kindled in My anger,
And burns to the lowest part of Sheol,
And consumes the earth with its yield,
And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains." Deut.32:22

This clearly describes fire from beneath the crust of the earth surfacing and setting the earth on fire through volcanic eruptions! This verse is key. Also in Rev.8:8 describes something like a huge burning mountain being cast into the sea killing 1/3 of life in the sea and causing 1/3 of all sea vessels to be destroyed. Then after that Wormwood (possibly and asteroid or a nuke) falls from the sky and makes 1/3 of the rivers and lakes poisonous ... nuclear fallout?)

"Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts and in the day of His fierce anger." Isaiah 13:13
This describes that worldwide earthquake in Joel 2:10, Rev. 11:13 and Rev. 6:12

Those wicked that die Don't go to "Hell" they go to "Hades"?
Yes, to Hades first, then later are cast into the Lake of Fire.

Perhaps the answer is "Greek Mythology" and your "Hades"

Wow, what a revelation, I remember, Perseus destroyed the Kraken in ancient times, therefore subjecting Hades to the underworld. Thank you, I must have lost my mind and gone off on a tangent.

baberean2,

1. You are taking one scripture to prove your point.

2. Christ will destroy those that break the KoH law completely if it is worthy of death.
If he killed off every flawed pot there wouldn’t be any flawed pots for Satan to deceive after the 1000 year rule and reign Revelation 20:7-10.

2. Why do you keep trying to disprove the word of God?
Your hermeneutics are wrong which makes your theology wrong.
You need to humble yourself and believe the real truth which I have shown time and time again but you keep refusing to believe. But sadly, you don’t seem interested in the real truth, you just want to save your wrong doctrine. Jerry Kelso

Only the original Hebrew and Greek texts are the Word of God.

All translations have their problems.

I started with the KJV and use the NKJV most of the time.

I also value my 1599 Geneva Bible.

Some, such as the Ruckmanites, have turned KJV-onlyism almost into a cult.

It only takes one scripture to show the error of modern Dispensational Theology, which is a doctrine unheard of in America before John Darby showed up on our shores about the time of the Civil War.

Therefore, you must believe that all of our nation's preachers before the Civil War were teaching "wrong doctrine".

I greatly appreciate you destroying the premill doctrine in #2 above.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare;
For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.
The earth is broken asunder,
The earth is split through,
The earth is shaken violently.
The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard
And it totters like a shack,
For its transgression is heavy upon it,
And it will fall, never to rise again.
So it will happen in that day,
That the Lord will punish the host of heaven on high,
And the kings of the earth on earth.
They will be gathered together
Like prisoners in a dungeon,
And will be confined in prison
;
And after many days they will be punished." Isaiah 24:17-22 NASB

These verses support what will happen during the Great Tribulation and the concept of Hades, as a pit in the earth.

"May burning coals fall upon them;
May they be cast into the fire,
Into deep pits
from which they cannot rise." Psalm 140:10 NASB

Yes, to Hades first, then later are cast into the Lake of Fire.

Wow, what a revelation, I remember, Perseus destroyed the Kraken in ancient times, therefore subjecting Hades to the underworld. Thank you, I must have lost my mind and gone off on a tangent.
Ok we agree, the only difference is our wording "Hell/Hades"

I agree all who have lived will obtain bodies at the resurrection.

The Eternal Lake Of Fire

Isaiah 66:24KJV
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

.

baberean2,

1. You are just grasping at straws.

2. There is the Kingdom of Heaven rule and reign on earth and the Kingdom of God which is the universal Kingdom and Heaven is a real planet where God the father and God the son reside right now.
1 Corinthians 15:50 is talking about Heaven where God the Father and God the Son resides right now. It is not talking about the Kingdom of Heaven reign on earth.

3. What preachers are you talking about before the civil war? And what is it they specifically preached that you think was right and what was wrong? Jerry Kelso

He destroys them, by dashing them to pieces.

.

You misunderstand what is written. This is about destroying governments not individuals:

Rev_12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The Millennium is the first time Christ has the opportunity to rule the nations with a rod of iron. The rod has no need in heaven since there are no nations in heaven thus the rod of iron can only apply to an Earthly reign over his enemies.

Rev_19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Here he returns, smites and "shall rule" the nations. That happens because shortly after his return the Millennium begins.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

This is clearly a new development else it wouldn't be mentioned.

It is at the 7th trump when he takes reign over the kingdoms of the world, stripping them of the reigns they previously enjoyed. That is the use of the rod of iron in action, dissolving their evil administrations and goverments.

In addition, ruling with a rod of iron is also about caring for the people:

Rev_2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Barnes:

As the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers - The ironic here is that of the vessel of a potter - a fragile vessel of clay - struck with a rod of iron and broken into fragments. That is, as applied to the nations, there would be no power to oppose His rule; the enemies of his government would be destroyed. Instead of remaining firm and compacted together, they would be broken like the clay vessel of a potter when struck with a rod of iron.

The notion of breaking a nation or kingdom up so it is powerless is nothing new in scripture:

Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Dan 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

The kingdom of God which Christ rules will break up the existing kingdoms of the nations leaving the people powerless to rebel. This is when the reign of the rod of iron over these nations takes place for a thousand years.

Rev_2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Rev_12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

"Rule"

From G4166; to tend as a shepherd (or figuratively superviser): - feed (cattle), rule.

To tend is to take care of! A supervisor watches over his employees, not kill them! A shepherd controls and protects his flock and that is the type of rule that shall be not the judgment and destruction of the wicked during the Millennium. They are protected from the deceptions of satan for the entire thousand years. It is clear error to mix the concept of shepherding with judging and punishing and killing. In addition, they will have no way to group and form together to rebel during this time which is expressed by the vessels being broken up. The pieces are individuals and the vessels represented they previous way they had been grouped together in opposition to Christ.

There is another use of a vessel being destroyed and it is not about killing people but breaking up an organization of people who rebel against God:

Isa 30:12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
Isa 30:14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

The metaphor of a vessel being broken is never about individuals being killed. God didn't kill every Jew. But their rebellion and sin against him caused the demise of their chosen status, even the covenant between them and God. Fast forward to the Millennium and again those who rebel against Christ shall have their wicked organizations broken up, leaving them powerless and unable to organize against Christ during this period of TIME of the reign/rule with a rod of iron. They live to be reigned over. When God allows satan to deceive them, then a brief and failed rebellion occurs and they are killed and judged and are no more forever.

Barnes:

As the breaking of the potter’s vessel - That is, as an earthen, fragile vessel, which is easily dashed to pieces. The image here is all drawn from the bursting forth, or the complete ruin of the swelling wall; but the sense is, that the Jewish republic would be entirely broken, scattered, demolished.

Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Barnes:

Psalms 2:9

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron - That is, evidently, thine enemies, for it cannot be supposed to be meant that he would sway such a scepter over his own people. The idea is that he would crush and subdue all his foes. He would have absolute power, and the grant which had been made to him would be accompanied with authority sufficient to hold it. That dominion which was to be conceded to him would be not only one of protection to his friends, but also of punishment on his enemies; and the statement here is made prominent because the former part of the psalm had respect to rebels, and the Messiah is here represented as being invested with power sufficient to punish and restrain them. The Vulgate renders this “thou shalt rule;” the Septuagint, “thou shalt feed - p??µa?e??? poimaneis; that is, thou shalt feed them as a shepherd does his flock; thou shalt exercise over them the care and protection of a shepherd.

So, all the evidence shows that it is very likely these people are cared for in a physical sense as well as a spiritual sense which would be receiving the gospel and all that it entails.

Kings and Priests help Christ rule over unsaved mortals. And the word rule means to Shepherd which means to take care for. Same job a King has, and the job of a Priest is to minister in a religious way. All this during a time Satan cannot deceive anyone for the first time in human history. When you add all of this up, you have perfect situation for the possibility of repentance.

The very verse you post in Revelation 19:12-15 below shows how the Lord rules the nations, "In His Final Judgment In Wrath"!

You in error believe and teach that a 1000 year kingdom on earth takes place after this event.

You Don't want to acknowledge the "Fire" at the Lord's appearing/return as presented below, because your earthly kingdom is removed.

Revelation 19:12-15KJV
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Many teach in error Jesus returns to earth to start a 1000 year millennial kingdom, with mortal humans present?

Scripture teaches below, Jesus returns in fire and final judgment, dissolving this present earth, as the New Heavens and Earth are revealed.

"Eternity Begins"!

"ALL THE SAME EVENT BELOW"

Isaiah 66:15-16KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-8KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Malachi 3:2KJV
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

1 Corinthians 3:13KJV
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

2 Timothy 4:1KJV
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Revelation 21:1-2KJV
21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

As scripture "Clearly Teaches" this existing Heaven and Earth will be dissolved by the Lord's fire in final judgment at his appearing/return.

Jesus Christ Is Lord

Truth 7t7,

1. God was not saying there was no place called Heaven.
The preceding verse talked about all his Holy Mountain.

2. Isaiah 2:1 said the throne is Heaven and the earth is his footstool we’re things he had already made.

3. The chapter is about backsliding Israel. It also is talking primarily to the future tribulation when the temple is desolate, but God will recompense his enemies and when Zion brings forth her children to become a nation in one day which will happen after the Day of the Lord at Armageddon.

4. John 14:2; Jesus said in my father’s house are many mansions.
1 Corinthians 12 says Paul was caught up to the third Heaven or paradise.

5. The Holy City will come down from Heaven Revelation 21-22.

Christ will not be conducting the funeral services of dead mortals for 1,000 years after His Second Coming.

He destroyed sin and death at Calvary.

Death dies at His return.

baberean2,

1. 1 Corinthians 15:24-29 says Christ must reign before death is done away with.
At the Second Coming Christ will destroy with the brightness of his coming.
The nations are taken over by Christ, but death is not done away till after the 1000 years.
This is proven by Revelation 20:7-10 where there is one more rebellion and it is God the Father who throws fire down from Heaven, not Christ.
The purpose of the millennial kingdom is to put down sin and rebellion.
Once again you have demonstrated your desire to keep a up your wrong doctrine.
You’re wrong as usual and won’t admit it. Jerry Kelso

24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Notice the phrase “the worm will not die”. That is a clue that it is physical. And the fire won’t be quenched, put out with water. This fire is also physical. Looking at the carcasses of men would also describe the physical realm. This was the idea that came from Gehenna, where bodies were thrown in this burning dump. The worm wouldn’t die on the outer edge, not directly in the fire. Another verse describes the Valley of Megiddo after the carnage, where the blood is up to a horses bridle for 200 miles. What does that mean? If you stacked up dead bodies a few high and as wide as the valley for 200 miles, you would have billions of bodies.
It’s interesting, people think the world is overpopulated. It certainly won’t be for long.

baberean2,

1. 1 Corinthians 15:24-29 says Christ must reign before death is done away with.
Jerry Kelso
Once again, you have ignored the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:18.

Jerry verses 23-24 below clearly teach Jesus was the first resurrection of the dead, and the believer will be resurrected at the "Second Coming" then comes "THE END"!

There is no 1000 year kingdom between verses 23 & 24

Verse 54 below clearly teaches that at the event of the second coming and resurrection "Death Is Swallowed Up In Victory" THE END!

Verse 26 is fulfilled "The Last Enemy Death" is defeated.

The End, Eternity Begins!

1 Corinthians 15:23-54KJV
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end,
when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
