That could help disciple the nations for Christ and even eventually fulfill Isaiah 2:2, which states "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the Mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."

Wallnau doesn't see God's Mountain dominating all those mountains of culture till God's people are all over them and influencing the nations from their peaks. -
This Is One Prophet's Plan for Turning the Church into a 'Kingdom-Invading Force'

Note: *I don't share this to endorse or promote CBN as a source (they are part of the NAR) but because this article was shared by Lance Wallnau on his Facebook page.

This should help clarify what the 7 Mountains/Spheres is actually all about. (Lance Wallnau is one of the main promoters and advocates for this "dominionist"/"Kingdom Now" movement.)

Unfortunately there are many Christians who have bought into the 7 Mountains as nothing more than a strategy to more effectively share the Gospel. The truth is that is NOT what it actually is. I encourage everyone to do some careful research into the 7 Mountains and test everything by the word of God. (For example, nowhere in Scripture are Christians told to conquer nations or the world, nor are we told that there will be entire "sheep nations" or "goat nations". The true Gospel is not about taking over the world for Christ.)

We must remember that Jesus has said HE has gone to prepare a place for us and He will return as He promised and in God's perfect timing. NOWHERE in the Bible is His return contingent upon this world being "Christianized" and taken over for Him.

Actually, Scripture tells us this world will pass away. So, beware of those who tell you WE are building an earthly kingdom for Jesus, and remember, there is a false peace and the antichrist foretold in Scripture. Something many Christians have seemingly forgotten about.

(This relates to "Endtimes/Eschatology" in that much of the Church today has bought into this idea that there will be a great "endtimes revival" and that Christ will not/cannot return until this happens) And so, no longer do many believe the warnings given in Scripture regarding the "last days", rather, they follow and believe these "prophets" and "apostles" who claim to be hearing "now words" from God and the "new" things God is apparently doing.

Amen! We are also told that God's people are but a remnant... Christ told us that the way is narrow and traveled by few. People like this guy are doing the enemies work in increasing and gathering together the tares.

Yes. I've listened to a fair amount of Lance Wallnau's own videos and read his posts. In one video he talked about "activating your angels and sending them out on assignment."

Christians need to understand that we do not have "angels" and nor do the true angels do our bidding or serve us. The angels serve and obey God and do His will as He commands to bring Him glory and praise.

Satan and the demons on the other hand, they are deceivers and will definitely lead people astray. Scripture tells us plainly that Satan "masquerades as an angel of light."

Yes, we need to be aware that there are two camps of angels. Even when some people talk of God, it is not the Creator God but the god of this world.

Agreed. And Scripture does warn of "another Jesus", "another Gospel" and "another Spirit."

Unfortunately, even when the terminology sounds Biblical, the meanings may not be. There is a very serious lack of discernment in the Church today.

Amariselle, you (or Lance, I can't tell who is writing what) were doing pretty good up to this point. The false peace will not be due to a Christianized Kingdom Now world. Just the opposite, there will come a big falling away from Christianity. 2Thessalonians2:3.

The Kingdom Now movement is amiss. But is not the reason for the false peace and safety saying in 1thessalonians5, right before the Day of the Lord.

Okay, I am trying to get on board with the thread, about Lance Wallnau.

I saw the cover of a You Tube video on the Patrica King show - that is enough for me to know where he is coming from. :warning:

How do we know that the "great falling away" won't look like some kind of "great end-times revival"? (This great "revival" is what the so-called "prophets", like Wallnau, keep "prophesying" will happen).

In any case, there is indeed a false "unity" and "lying signs and wonders" occurring in the Church today.

And the point is that not everything that calls itself "Christian" actually is, and many are claiming to speak words from God today that are not Biblical and can therefore not truly be from God.

And Scripture does in fact warn us of these "false prophets."

Just to be clear (in case you misunderstood) I did not start this thread to promote Lance Wallnau or his "Kingdom Now" 7 Mountain/Sphere theology. I firmly disagree with him and believe that they are teaching and promoting grevious error and false doctrine.

amariselle, Wallanau can prophesy that the moon will turn blue - but that doesn't equate to a bible prophecy. I am sure you agree.

Looking at what is bible prophecy - the person who becomes the Antichrist must be anointed the King of Israel. That is actually what determines him to be the Antichrist.

Most Christians do not think of the term Christ in the sense of being the promised great King of Israel descended from David. Because of course we are Salvation oriented and spread the gospel.

But the term Christ is a English version of the Greek which is a version of messiah which means anointed. And when it come to "the" messiah, in biblical background, it is referring to the promised great King of Israel, to lead Israel and the world into the messianic era of peace and safety.

John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

"Anti" the prefix means "instead of" and/or "against". Adding Anti to Christ, we come up with AntiChrist (technically what's inferred is Anti - Jesus the Christ)

In the bible, by both his supporters and his enemies Jesus was referred to as being that promised great King of Israel.

by his supporters...
John 12:
12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

by his enemies....
Mark 15:
31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
________________________________________________________________

So the Antichrist will be the person forthcoming who the Jews will embrace as their messiah and anointed the King of Israel. But that person will not be the one God sent to be their King, but another coming in his own name.

When that takes place, following Gog/Magog, it will be so convincing to many in Christianity that the Jews were right all along - about their position regarding Jesus - and that the Antichrist person is actually the real messiah - many will depart Christianity as a result.

amariselle, Wallanau can prophesy that the moon will turn blue - but that doesn't equate to a bible prophecy. I am sure you agree.

Obviously. The point is that he claims he is a "prophet" and others give him that title as well. Therefore we must "test" his "prophecies" by the word of God.

Looking at what is bible prophecy - the person who becomes the Antichrist must be anointed the King of Israel. That is actually what determines him to be the Antichrist.

I was not only referring to the anti-Christ, but to the "spirit of anti-Christ" which Scripture refers to as already being in the world, as well as the false prophets foretold in Scripture. Deception doesn't happen suddenly, as I'm sure you're aware. It is often a gradual infiltration and twisting of the truth.

Most Christians do not think of the term Christ in the sense of being the promised great King of Israel descended from David. Because of course we are Salvation oriented and spread the gospel.

Not sure what you're getting at there. Jesus is the King of Israel, and He is descended from David.

But the term Christ is a English version of the Greek which is a version of messiah which means anointed. And when it come to "the" messiah, in biblical background, it is referring to the promised great King of Israel, to lead Israel and the world into the messianic era of peace and safety.

The point is that, unlike what many who believe the 7 Mountain Mandate/Kingdom Now/Dominionist teachings would say, we are not ushering in this "era of peace and safety." We are not building an earthly kingdom for Christ to return to.

John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Yes....

"Anti" the prefix means "instead of" and/or "against". Adding Anti to Christ, we come up with AntiChrist (technically what's inferred is Anti - Jesus the Christ)

I understand that. I know what "anti" means.

In the bible, by both his supporters and his enemies Jesus was referred to as being that promised great King of Israel.

by his supporters...
John 12:
12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

And? I didn't say Jesus isn't the King of Israel...

So the Antichrist will be the person forthcoming who the Jews will embrace as their messiah and anointed the King of Israel. But that person will not be the one God sent to be their King, but another coming in his own name.

And? I haven't denied any of that...

When that takes place, following Gog/Magog, it will be so convincing to many in Christianity that the Jews were right all along - about their position regarding Jesus - and that the Antichrist person is actually the real messiah - many will depart Christianity as a result.

I think you have misunderstood me and the purpose of this thread.

I think you have misunderstood me and the purpose of this thread.
The only bone of contention I am making is the notion that it will be the Kingdom Now movement that results in the falling away from Christianity in 2Thesslaonians2:3. It will not be due to the Kingdom Now movement.

And the reason for the world saying peace and safety will not be due to the Kingdom Now movement, but due to the world believing the Antichrist is the real messiah, and that the world believing, at that time, it has entered the messianic age of peace and safety.

amariselle, in your post #8, you had ask me this question. And I answered it, but it required me to give an explanation regarding the Antichrist to explain what is going to cause "the great falling away". And why it would not look like some kind of "great end-times revival".

The only bone of contention I am making is the notion that it will be the Kingdom Now movement that results in the falling away from Christianity in 2Thesslaonians2:3. It will not be due to the Kingdom Now movement.

I never said it would be the only "movement" that would result in a "falling away" from Christianity. However, if you don't understand just how broad and pervasive and influential this movement and its leaders have become, you really should do some careful research into the topic.

For instance, the 7 Mountains/Kingdom Now/Dominionist "Movement" has changed the focus of many in the Church from sharing the true Gospel and discipling, encouraging and edifying believers in the faith once delievered to the saints, to influencing and taking over culture via the "7 Mountains." And so, now, rather than the Gospel of our salvation in Christ, the focus is on having earthly influence and impact on the world, all in the name of God, of course.

Most influenced by this are the youth and young adults. I personally know several family members caught up in this.

The Gospel was never about conquering the world and taking it over for Christ. I think some people seriously underestimate and downplay the very real damage this has done to the Church.

And the reason for the world saying peace and safety will not be due to the Kingdom Now movement, but due to the world believing the Antichrist is the real messiah, and that the world believing, at that time, it has entered the messianic age of peace and safety.

And just how do you think people will get to a place where they are willing and open to accepting this antichrist/false messiah?

Deception does not happen overnight.

Now, this thread is not about the antichrist, it is about deception in the Church in regard to the 7 Mountains/Kingdom Now/Domionist teachings being promoted by so-called NAR "prophets" and "apostles."

So, if you want to comment on topic, I would appreciate that.

armariselle, the body of Christ has many parts and no-one can be everything. What I know is bible prophecy. And the rest of us are relying on others, like yourself, to keep us abreast of issues like the 7Mountains/Kingdom Now/Dominionist movements. I am not competing with you - okay?

My area of expertise is focused on bible prophecy. Which is why I generally stick to the eschatology forum.

If you want to have immunity from persons not agreeing with your rationale for the great falling away in 2Thessalonians2:3. And you saying that the false sense of peace - as in 1Thessalonians5 - is due to false revival in Christanity. None of us have that sort of immunity.

What I think is that you are a well meaning wonderful Christian with solid fundamental background - but with average understanding of eschatology. Where the friction is coming with my comments is that I am 69 years old and have been immersed in eschatology study all of my adult life, as the center of my Christian walk and am familiar with this material like the back of my hand... and at this stage of your life, I simply know more. And am actually trying to help you. But you don't want my help....okay.

I believe there will be a future spiritual revival?

The Man Of Sin/Antichrist being worshipped as God, Jesus Returned To Earth, the foundation for this "Deception" is being laid.

I wasn't trying to "compete" with you, nor did I think you were "competing" with me....

My area of expertise is focused on bible prophecy. Which is why I generally stick to the eschatology forum.

Yes. And as I said in the OP, this 7 Mountains/Kingdom Now/Dominionism relates to endtimes/eschatology as it deals with the belief that there will be a great endtimes "revival" and that Christians must gain control of these Mountains/Spheres of influence to build/bring the Kingdom prior to Christ's return. (The belief that Christians are building an earthly kingdom for Christ.)

But you have made it an eschatology issue.

It is an eschatology issue.

And have posted the thread in this eschatology forum.

Yes, because this topic is an eschatology issue, very much relevant in regard to what Scripture warns about regarding endtimes/last days deception.

You have also talked about the spirit of Antichrist.

In response to your choice to focus on the antichrist specifically, which is not what this thread was about.

And the great falling away.

I didn't actually specifically mention the "great falling away" in the OP. But, yes, I do believe that the massive deception we have in the Church today could very well be an integral part of that falling away.

You are the one who introduced those topics - which those topics can't be divorced from the Antichrist and the end times.

Actually, it was not me who turned the focus of this thread to the antichrist and who he may be/where he will be. As I said, getting into a detailed discussion about the antichrist specifically is not the purpose of this thread. This thread is about endtimes/last days deception (7 Mountains/Kingdom Now/Dominionism specifically) and how this deception has impacted the Church.

If you want to have immunity from persons not agreeing with your rationale for the great falling away in 2Thessalonians2:3. And you saying that the false sense of peace - as in 1Thessalonians5 - is due to false revival in Christanity. None of us have that sort of immunity.

Who said anything about my desiring "immunity from persons not agreeing with my rationale for the "great falling away"? I certainly didn't. If I wanted such immunity you can rest assured I would not be on these forums. Disagree all you like, that is your right.

What I think is that you are a well meaning wonderful Christian with solid fundamental background - but with average understanding of eschatology.

You are free to think what you like about me also. I'm certainly not going to waste time arguing over eschatology credentials with you. Nor am I going to go into details on my "background". I am not the topic of this thread in any case.

Where the friction is coming with my comments is that I am 69 years old and have been immersed in eschatology study all of my adult life, as the center of my Christian walk and am familiar with this material like the back of my hand... and at this stage of your life, I simply know more.

Duly noted and acknowledged. You know more than me. Fair enough.

And am actually trying to help you. But you don't want my help....okay.

Actually, that is not true at all. I have no problem asking questions or requesting help from others. I apologize that you perceived my request to stay on topic as some sort of refusal of your apparent offer of help.

I will drop out of your thread, and feel free to go your own way.

People are free to start threads on various topics and others are free to read and contribute to that particular topic as they choose, though hopefully while remaining on topic as much as possible (which I know can be difficult). I did not ask you to leave the thread, but simply to respond to the topic at hand. I'm sorry it seems that offended you somehow.

I try to inform someone of something, and they act like I am trying to cut off their hand.

I wasn't aware that I was acting like you "tried to cut off my hand"....
