1. I think USA must finally accept and respect Iran. Iran never was colonized and has a gigantic history. Just remember our great persian empire. Iran doesnt accept any arrogant behavior shown by some elements of the american government.
Ok. I can understand that. I think peoples of all nations should learn better to respect the social and cultural boundaries of their neighbors in the larger world. Yes, I know from my World History studies that Iran is in some ways the inheritor of the ancient persian empire. However, please know that as a Christian (and a philosopher), I don't value the concept of "Empire" to any high degree, and I don't think respect for others should be based on strength of arms or cultural fortitude--not for even my own nation, and not for any other nation. Only God should have the honor due to strength of being, along with the truths that come with that understanding. It is too bad, in my estimation, that the nations of the world have often resorted to flexing their might to one another in order to supposedly prove themselves to one another. I find that kind of thing very tiresome; and again, I find this tiresome whether it comes from my own nation or from another.
Another factor is, that Iran always was the dominant power in the region until 1979. The Islamic Revolution, sanctions and the Iran - Iraq war weakened us and the american support for Saudi Arabia created a unnatural state. Now things change back to normal and Iran takes control over large areas in our sphere of influence. Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan.
Yes, I understand. Politics is a mess, a mess that we all wish could be sorted out. However, the truth of the matter is that the governments of the world decide too often to do the things they do without the full support (or even knowledge) of their respective peoples. Those in power in governments typically make the decisions they do without much, if any, recourse to asking those they govern as to what the best course of action would be. So, for instance, you have in the U.S. those citizens who supported the involvement of the U.S. troops in the Middle-East, AND there are a large number of citizens who did not support it. The unfortunate thing is that I'm not sure that other nations, such as yours, understand that in the U.S., not everyone, maybe not even a majority of the people, actually supports intervention in other countries. Of course, the U.S. has a long history of pluralistic opinions and viewpoints among its own citizens.
There are certain points Iran will never discuss. Our military and defense is one.
Well, of course. I don't think it would be wise for anyone to tell other nations, "Hey, look here, here is a weak point by which you could make easy prey of us ... !!!" No, no one really thinks that way if they are wise, right? That wouldn't be philosophically cogent or prudent to do.
USA need to understand that we share many ideas. We crushed ISIS in Syria and Iraq for example.
Yes, it would be nice for our cultures to communicate better and find some things in common, and try to understand each other better, and with more insight, about how to navigate our disagreements.
On the other side we also have our faults regarding this. One point is Israel. I dont see Israel as big threat for us. And majority of Iranians think that way.
I'm not one to discuss deep politics, especially not for things happening in the Middle-East or around Israel. I'm neither for or against, Israel. What I do know is that we all need to worry less about our security here and more about our relationship with God, our Lord and Savior above (Blessed be His Name!)
As for my daily life, well ha ha
I wake up at 6am. eat breakfast and then shower and brush teeth and style up. Then head for university from 8AM to 2 PM. Then go to training which i finish at 5 pm. Until 7 pm i hang around with my friends and then go home to eat with my family. At weekends we party, meet in the forests or mountains and chill. Hiking for example is very popular.
It sounds like you have a very productive and full life at the present time, Darioush, not unlike life for many in the U.S. I'm glad for you that you are active and pursuing education. I wish the best for you in your life.
Peace,
