So Trump gives Iran a little time before sanctions began -- if they don't get with the program.

They should be on notice -- Trump will not play the game for long.

Is Iran on the brink of a revolution?

What program would that be?

They should be on notice -- Trump will not play the game for long.

Donald spent 14 seasons as a game show host -- it's what he does.

Is Iran on the brink of a revolution?

Probably -- which is why I commend Donald for keeping the deal. The stick did nothing against Iran; time to try the carrot.

US taxpayers have plenty of money -- let us go and buy some more friends.
M-Bob

We bought Iran pretty cheap; you want to give them up and maybe buy a few more friends (who might be a lot more expensive than yourself)... for what, exactly?

Sure he will...

The fact that he's extended it 3 times now shows that he'll keep playing "the game" (or as most people would call it, sensible diplomacy) as long at the people, who actually understand how this stuff works (Generals, CIA, Intelligence Officials), tell him to.

It's one thing to go on the campaign trail and say that anything Obama touched "was the worst ever" and "a disaster" to fire up his loyal (but uninformed) base that thinks that Obama could do no right. It's another thing to actually undo sound policies when advisers are saying "uh, Mr. President, we need to actually keep that in place, there was a valid reason for it".

The sooner that Trump's ardent followers come to the realization that he's not always the smartest guy in the room and doesn't always know everything, the sooner they can actually start to develop some reasonable expectations and view him as a president, instead of viewing him as some sort of demigod.
