Even the conservative media is against Trump. ;)

The story, which cites people familiar with the matter, says Cohen arranged a $130,000 payment to Stephanie Clifford -- whose stage name is "Stormy Daniels" -- a month ahead of the election. Cohen denies the sexual encounter took place.

He denies it. SHE denies it. They're old rumors.

I'm so dead tired of all this drama, all the time.

In a statement provided by Cohen from Daniels, she also calls the article "absolutely false."
The hired lyer claim she denies it. Surprise, surprise, surprise. I knew someone was going to fall for it, but I didn't think it would be in the first response.

...then don't elect an immoral man.

Character counts....or so I was led to believe until last year.

Character hasn't counted since Bill Clinton said "it depends on what the definition of 'is' is...." and the feminists didn't care. Remember that?

Character still counts to many of us.

I don't know if the WSJ story is true...but I do know the events described fit a pattern of demonstrated immorality by Donald Trump that was on full display before he was President.

I figured that you progressives should be celebrating this. After all , you've been arguing in favor of moral relativism for decades. Now, the Republicans have been persuaded by your arguments, and elected someone who is accused of being about as morally repugnant as your own guys. I imagine that it must be a proud moment for the progressive left: you have convinced the "moral majority" to be as ethically untethered as your own side.

...eh, that's a bit of a cop out answer.

We could technically go back as far as we wanted and make similar statements about presidents well before Clinton.

Reagan in the Iran/Contra deal
Nixon - obvious reasons
FDR - Internment of Japanese Americans
Jackson - indiscriminate slaughtering of Native Americans

The reason why this scenario (and most of the scenarios with Trump) are particularly unique is because some of his most rabid supporters are people who were the most adamant about pushing a pro-Christian, pro-"Moral" agenda and have sworn up and down that the reason we need to keep "progressives" out of office is because of the notion that they lack a moral compass and they won't promote Christian-specific values.

Yet, they were quick to rally around a person who's divorced multiple times (some due to infidelity), owns Casino's, dishonestly scammed people out of money in a wide variety of business deals, ran swimsuit pageants, and has resorted to making low brow comments on social media (like the ones he made about Ted Cruz's wife).

Bill Clinton's supporters never claimed to be the party of "sexual purity" and monogamy. Trump's most ardent supporters, on the other hand, have staked that claim (and have ever since the 80's).

When was the last time we had a truly moral president?

Trump: No
Obama: No
Bush Jr: Maybe? I think he at least tried and had good intentions.
Clinton: No

Beyond that I have no idea. I was too young to remember Bush Sr.

Jimmy Carter. As far as I can tell in my 54 years on this planet the only real "Christian" I've seen in the White House.

Of course I find it sad that ANYONE would cheat on their wife, but in reality it isn't so much that people are offended by Trump's actions as much as they are by the fact that the Religious Right have rammed their morality on us for so long that they finally got thier "choice" in office and he's about the most non-Christian person I can imagine.

For me watching Trump's supporters (the religous right evangelicals) defend him has been an immensely interesting event. Because now I know that for these evangelical voters it was NEVER about "JEsus" or Christianity! Christ is no more real to them in this case than he is to me as an atheist! LOL.

CNN has not independently confirmed The Wall Street Journal's reporting.

These rumors have circulated time and again since 2011," Cohen said in a statement to CNN. "President Trump once again vehemently denies any such occurrence as has Ms. Daniels." Cohen, once one of Trump's most trusted aides, is no longer in regular contact with Trump -- a distance forced by the Russia investigations, in which Cohen has been entangled.

Oh boy another unsubstantiated report from unamed unveriable sources.

That works so well for CNN.

As I've said before, it rings quite hollow to decry the Republicans following your instructions, assuming that you are a progressive. After all, the Democrats have been in love with presidents who couldn't keep it in their pants for almost a century. FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, Clinton... One of the things that Obama and Carter have in common, besides being terrible presidents, is that they are one of the few Democrats in the White House who were faithful to their wives.

So you think that Dems were HAPPY with Bill Clinton???? Huh.

Truly moral?

How about men who at least attempted to live by a moral code?
