Well, I think there are fairly different types of "liberals" (ranging from the fiscally liberal/Sanders-esque ones to the social justice warriors) just like there are different types of "conservatives" (ranging from the fiscally conservative/Friedman-esque ones to the "blood and soil" guys).

Personally, I'm (at least by current definitions) fiscally liberal, but I find a lot of the SJW stuff offputting and kooky. I'm all for everyone to have an equal shake at things without kooky discrimination - but I think that what many SJWs consider "discrimination" is strange.

So, like one of the other posters said, I wouldn't call them "liberals" - they're just kinda jerks. lol

I can't find those comments on their facebook site.

Wouldn't be surprised if this has been blown way out of proportion.

And exactly.
When you go hunting for this mass of frothing at the mouth liberal beasts protesting....you don't find anything except a single facebook post (Yes, only one post) that ended up being deleted so we can't even see what was actually said.

To quote the fox news story: "It was all untrue, of course – but the truth doesn’t really matter these days."

There we disagree.

I won't waste our time going into why I think that, you already know, but I would be curious how you manage to see what is written over and over again in the scriptures as a no no, as a non fact?

Barely anyone reads the linked article before breaking out into outrage, so who could expect them to look at the facebook page.

Because what the Biblical writers were writing about was nothing like consensual, adult relationships between two folk who love each other.

They wrote it was a sin, period.

Not that is matters, but how did you decide the homosexuality spoken against were not homosexuals in love/consensual? I've seen nothing to indicate it either way.

Just like fornication/adultery, God didn't give a flip if they were in love or not, he just said "no". Or do you find that ok too, if they're in love?

I think God is anti sin. But Christians seem to forget their many sins and focus more on the gay thing.

There's various levels of sin. There's not keeping the Sabbath or giving false witness, which are minor. Then there's murder and being gay which are major, mortal sins. Do you condone murder too?

The Fox piece was written by Todd Starnes. Blowing things out of proportion is his schtick.

Exactly. Homosexuality does seem to be many Christians' pet sin. It makes me wonder why these Christians are so focused on this 'sin' but are flippant about other sins, like adultery, lust or lying.
