That one anonymous malcontent devotes an entire website to attacking a book and claims that there are many contradictions to scripture does not make it so. I skimmed through that rubbish and saw nothing which actually contradicts any scripture.

You are free to believe the non sense that Jesus has a rainbow horse and that He looks European. The account is more in line with the new age near death experiences.

Do you know for a fact that there is not a horse in heaven which was made to appear in rainbow colors to Colton? Please show me that in scripture? Otherwise that does not contradict any scripture. The painting I saw by Ariane, which Colton said was the Jesus he saw did not look European to me.

It also contradicts Sola Scriptura, as well.
Is his book to be added to the Bible?
Who said anything about adding any books to scripture? Your arguments might be worth considering if you would keep them factual.

Akiane (not Ariane) says,

Jesus shared with us: ‘I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to my Father, but through me.’ I feel that he invited us to participate in the divinity. Each of us is one of kind [ sic ] original path to the way of truth and light, and without our individual love and effort we cannot understand and reach God” [Emphasis added] — Blog Layout – Wide – Akiane Gallery.

Also, God says in His Word not to make an image of anything in Heaven above. For we walk by faith and not by sight.

As for the horse:

First, it is a slight rip off from my little pony. Second, Scripture testifies with Scripture. Three, John 3:13 says no man has ascended to heaven except the Son of Man.

If it is a true story of Heaven then we can add it to Scripture. But it is not, so it is false.

Nonsense! No such rule or requirement. But I do know that the prophet Joel said,
Joe 2:28-29
(28) "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
(29) Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
Act 2:16-18
(16) No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
(17) "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
(18) Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
And neither Joel nor Luke said anything about them becoming scripture.

Twisting scripture trying to make it line up with your assumptions/presuppositions. What the scripture actually says.
Deuteronomy 5:8-9
(8) "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
(9) You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
Little deception there, you left off vs. 9. Colton did not make a graven image of anything and he certainly did not bow down and worship anything.

Yeah I'm sure a 4 year old kid ripped off "My little pony". If you are going to criticize something you should learn what it is you are criticizing. Colton didn't go anywhere, he never left the hospital emergency room. Read Joel 2:28-29 above.

Well said Der Alter... thank you for defending Colton............
The Psalms mentions Messiah returning on a cherub...... and Revelations says Messiah returns on a white horse...... can some cherubs be in the form of a horse???????

I think it is quite possible.......... so I have no problem with Colton meeting horses and other animals in heaven at all...........

No.

You shall not make any likeness of anything in heaven above (stop / comma).

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:” (‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:4‬).

Any likeness of anything in Heaven. The extension of details after verse 4 does not change what this command says at this point.

As for Colton:

He either:

(a) Lied.
(b) Seen a false vision.

So either demons used my little pony or Colton used the idea from watching the show before the incident. Also, Colton felt fear as he sat in Jesus’s lap and so angels had to sing to calm him. Alright, that right there should give you a clue something is not right. Jesus is not the “comforter” but these angels are.

Not true. It is either a false vision or the kid is lying. My little pony and angels with halos? Colton is afraid of Jesus so angels have to sing to calm him? Really? You actually believe that?

Also, the visions in Daniel, Isaiah, and Revelation gives God the glory. Colton’s fictional story or false vision gives himself the glory and not God. It is a self centered story unlike the three accounts we are given of God and His Kingdom in Scripture.

There is nothing in Scripture that is even remotely like Colton’s story.

Vs. 5 does not change vs. 4, but it does state the purpose for not making any images.
Exo 20:4-5. Note vs. 5 "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them..." Them "who/what?" Any images referred to in vs. 4. . Vs. 5 is inextricably linked to vs. 4, it makes no sense without vs. 4.

Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
(5) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
And as I said Colton Burpo did not make anything and he certainly did not bow down and worship anything. But if you want to continue to falsely accuse a 4 year old boy of making and worshipping an idol you are the one who has to answer for it.

More biased nonsense. When did Colton, who OBTW was only 3.5 years old at the time, read and understand 1 John 4:18? Using your faulty reasoning we would have to make the same accusation against the disciples because they were certainly afraid several times. You are demanding from a 4 year old boy something that mature Christians couldn't do.Where does it say that Jesus can't use angels when and how He chooses to?

Alright then, there is no convincing you no matter what I say. You can add the "Heaven is not Real" as the 67th book of the Bible and be done with it already. I see Colton's book following as sort of like a cult because it is like all other NDE's and it teaches contrary to Scripture and people blindly defend and follow him with no Scriptural support.

Isn't that kind of over the top? That book is not scripture. It may be true but it has little to do with the gospel message, and it is a faith builder though not much more. You are taking this to extremes to say that it should be scripture. Sarcasm and scoffing with no justification. Shame on you Brother.

Why is it, that ever since the fall in Eden...that people do not look for what is right or true, but they look for error so they can denigrate it? I mean, are you so scared of being deceived, that you would reject the truth when it comes to you?

Independence and pride will be the downfall of most men.

If the book is not Scripture, then we should not regard it on matters of our faith.
For faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

As for Sarcasm:
Well, sarcasm is not evil. Both Jesus and Paul use sarcasm within the Scriptures.

Also, I am not mocking people but I am mocking a false vision.

I scoff at the idea of false visions. It is not wrong to do that, and I have backed up what I said before with Scripture. So there is no shame in attacking something that is false.

You said:

But it is not truth. Scripture warns about following another Jesus. This sounds like another Jesus because Colton was afraid of this Jesus and angels (not Jesus) had to comfort him instead. Jesus sent another comforter (i.e. the Holy Spirit) to His disciples. So Jesus is the first comforter to his disciples. Yet, Colton's story wants us to believe that angels (and not Jesus) are the comforter instead.

Also, Scripture says this about Jesus and peace,

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Colton had seen a pink diamond on Jesus. The meaning behind this is joy, creativity, love, and romance. Romance? No doubt because "pink" is also associated with women. It is a feminine color. We also do not see this color associated with God and or Jesus in the Bible.

Colton says that everyone has wings like angels in Heaven. Yet, Scripture says that we will have the same glorified body that Jesus has.

"Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." (Philippians 3:2).

Last I checked when reading the Scriptures, Jesus did not have wings after his resurrection.

So again, we see angels here are getting the glory and not God (i.e. Jesus).

Something doesn't seem right here at all. It makes it look like Satan is trying to be like God here. Then again, this is nothing new. God's Word talks about how the devil seeks to be like the Most High God.

You said:
Independence and pride will be the downfall of most men.

I agree. Man seeks these things outside of God's Word.

There is no gospel in Colton's vision. It is not there.
They uplift their book above God's Word and the gospel.
Why? Because of the money.

To sum up Colton's Jesus (that is not mentioned in Scripture).

"For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." (2 Corinthians 11:4).

Also, in Colton's false vision, he sees the angel Gabriel sitting on the left hand of God.
How is this a problem?

In (Ephesians 1:19-21) here we see God exalting Jesus above all others by seating Him at the right hand of the Father.”

“The term “God’s right hand” in prophecy also refers to the Messiah to whom is given the power and authority to subdue His enemies (Psalms 110:1; Psalms 118:16)”

The fact that Jesus Christ is at the “right hand of God” was a sign to the disciples that Jesus had indeed gone to heaven. In John 16:7-15, Jesus told the disciples that He had to go away and He would send the Holy Spirit. So the coming of the Holy Spirit in the upper room on the day of Pentecost (Acts of the Apostles 2:1-13) was positive proof that Jesus was indeed in heaven seated at the right hand of God. This is confirmed in Romans 8:34 where the Apostle Paul writes that Christ is sitting at God’s right hand making intercession for us.

Therefore, what we can say that “God’s right hand” refers to the Messiah, the LORD Jesus Christ and He is of equal position, honor, power and authority with God (John 1:1-5). The fact that Christ is “sitting” refers to the fact that His work of redemption is done and when the fullness of the gentiles is brought in (Romans 11:25), Christ’s enemies will be made His footstool as the end of the age comes,"

So again, we see Satan trying to be like the Most High here.
