Thank you all so much for your advice! We went today and did well. The judge agreed with me that crooked sister & lawyer had no right to amend my father's will. What a pair of scumbags - they deserve each other. If looks could kill! Pat sat there looking like satan himself! Such evil emanating from her - it was spooky. I always thought that family had something evil passed down - please pray that my children, husband, grandchildren and I never again have any interaction with any of them. She is a psychopath - you would know it if you had seen her rabid-looking hateful face.

The judge wouldn't take the lawyers predatory charges off - which was wrong - she told me I could file a complaint with the state ethics board. She let me speak, then my husband. When the corrupt lawyer stood up to speak she was nasty to him and said "I don't want to hear from you!" We were shocked! I thought she would be partial to him but it just showed she knew my husband & I spoke the truth.

Would any of you follow through with an ethics complaint? They lawyer charged the estate for performing illegal actions of threatening me!

Pat is a lunatic - she emailed, texted, and used FaceBook to trash me to my own children! She's a pushy witch who thinks she can do whatever she wants. Would you report it to police so if she gets the idea of doing it again she'll know we're not putting up with it?

I am glad to hear you had a favorable outcome.
I don't for see any reason for you to have any more interaction with her.

Your position NOW is to Forgive, if you don't, then your Prayers will be hindered.

Mat 6:14,15
14) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15) But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mat 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;

Put everything behind you and move on in your life.

God is Faithful.
It was not just some Judge speaking, when you heard the Judge speak, that was the voice of God for you.

Yesterday you saw the Salvation of God in your life.

I would do the lawyer ethics complaint because that is about the bar that let's him be a lawyer. They investigate these complaints and if there are more than one.

Some people the only way they change is if it affects their money or status.

Thanks for reminding me to forgive. It's very hard because she tried to take money from me and tormented me for 7 months knowing I have serious medical issues. I always struggle with what God wants from us when people do such overt evil. I just don't think forgiveness is that simple sometimes. I did send her an email to try to put things in the past but she didn't respond. I think it's time to 'shake the dust off your feet.'

The lawyer deserves a complaint with the way he threatened me - the judge knew what he did which is why she was rude to him. I wish she would have taken off his fees but my husband said "it's the lawyers club." So I'm weary - PLEASE pray he doesn't try to tack on any more fees.

Make the complaint and they will investigate.

That’s the best way to shine a light on any fees he is charging you. The complaint might actually keep him in line knowing someone is looking.

You are probably safer with a complaint than without. At least he will have to justify the fees as being above board.

With no complaint no one will even look or watch.

That's a good idea. A complaint will keep him honest.

I'd like to ask other believer's views. Scripture says to forgive but doesn't elaborate. I think if you know someone is a dangerous individual you have a duty to keep away from that person. I just can't square with what God tells us to do. How can you forgive someone who you know is unhealthy and you deem it best to avoid? That entire side of my ex-family are evil - they're not people I want around my family. The eldest did something really evil - I can't even recount it here. I thought the youngest was different but she wasn't. She turned out to be just as evil as the older one.

I have begged God to exact judgment on them but I haven't seen it - I've just had more trouble from them. It began years back when my parents kicked me out of the house at 17 because the older two "gems" as my stupid ex-mother called them moved back in with their kids. The overcrowding was awful and when I complained my stupid ex-mother asked me to leave. I wish I had left and never reconnected with them. It was one of the worst mistakes in my life.

I don't want any of them near my children or grandchildren. They're toxic. How do other believers handle it when you see wicked people go unpunished? I'm begged God for judgement against them. This last incident should have had the witch sister lose all of the money she got. I don't understand God. They tormented me for 7 months during horrendous physical troubles - that the witch knew about. A friend told me she's "frightening." God allowed me to win but still she should have been heavily punished for what she did.

She harassed my children and vilified me to them and my daughter in law. Would any of you report it to police so she doesn't try contacting them again?

I'd appreciate your prayers. I am very weary.

I personally struggle more with forgiving than wanting to exact judgement. I let God handle that.

But know that God also says we reap what we sow, so these people sowing evil are reaping it. Evil attracts evil and bad attracts bad, so I would guess they probably have pretty difficult lives already.

You should be so glad their gone and just hope they don't contact you. Let them go and let God worry about it.

Try some random kindness. Sometimes putting love and good out in the world and seeing all that good stuff makes us know that it is futile and so not worth it to even think about evil people.

Go take a walk and admire the beauty of God's creation. Don't let evil stay on your mind. Stop thinking about it. The aspect of wanting revenge might keep you hanging on to a lot of this ugly stuff.

Let it go! Enjoy your life, the good things, your Awesome God.

Thanks for the advice. Please pray they are forever out of my family and my lives. I feel such hurt inside that God knows about and He knows they should have terrible things happen to them for doing this to me and my children. I'm trying to get away from it but it's painful.

When you think about them or a thought of them enters your mind, do you follow through with the thought OR do you rebel against it and think a different thought?

Good question - satan peppers me with flaming arrows and I struggle with trying to keep the thoughts of them out. I'm having a hard struggle. I've been following "the 7-day mental diet" - or trying to. Satan hits me with memories constantly. Please pray as this is a hard area for me. It has been my 'achilles heel' for decades - satan hits me in my thought life. I was worried because my ex-sister and her corrupt lawyer tried multiple tactics trying to defraud me. Now I feel on edge and wonder what they're going to try next. There are some good lawyers but there are some corrupt ones. They have to mail me my check and I'm wondering what they're going to pull next. It seems like there should be a place to report fraud to but I don't know where to report it - who would actually do something. But I do have to control my thoughts and you brought up an insightful issue - one that I have struggled with.

You can forgive and take steps to protect yourself and your family at the same time. I'm coming in on the tail end of this, so I don't know enough of the particulars. Which means I don't know what specific advice to give. Praying that God gives you wisdom.

To find out about the complaint I would Google; lawyer complaint state bar (or law license) that should give you a start.

You have to cast those thoughts out of your mind. Grab your Bible and start reading aloud, or singing your favorite hymn like Amazing Grace, or start a thankfulness prayer and tell God everything positive that happened that day, even if it’s the smallest thing.

Your post abut the wicked going unpunished reminded me of Psalm 73. You should read the whole psalm. The Psalmist had the same kind of thoughts you are having. Then in verse 17 it says, "Until I came into the sanctuary of God; Then I perceived their end."
What you have to remember is that the things that people like this gain are temporary, while their punishment is eternal. And God will have the final word. You shouldn't think they are getting away with anything. If anything, feel sorry for them that they are putting their hopes in what will disappoint in the end.

Thanks. Please remember me in prayer - this has been hard at a time when I'm enduring painful physical problems. A friend told me she found my sister "frightening."

Yes, my pastor recommended Psalm 73. I know what it says but the depth of what was done wrong by people in that family was beyond evil. I don't know why God lets one of them remain on the earth she's done so much evil - I think there's a stronghold in that family. When my father passed my husband said 'you're finally free of that family.' My husband has faith in that area but I struggle with people getting away with things. I'm wondering if I should report that corrupt lawyer or let God handle it. How do you know when to act and when to not?

I feel God close - I have a close walk - which is probably why satan attacks me so much. I can't understand what God is doing.

They're good suggestions. I have to "renew my mind" and memorize the Word. You made me recall that verse. Please pray for me - I feel very depleted fighting against such evil while dealing with horrendous medical problems.

Part of our struggle is that we don't realize God has a very different perspective than we do. He is infinite and we are finite. We aren't going to understand everything He does. Our minds aren't capable of getting it. I find that when things get like that it is enough to remember that God is good and that he has his own reasons for what he does. You just have to let go and give it to God and let God deal with them
